Dah... sorry for the brain fart!

So, I've been cleaning up my library. I downloaded CFSM and fixed the 100% glitch and added DD to all my songs. However, there are still a small percentage that won't keep the best percent played and instead display a big X on the list of songs. Anyone know how to fix that?

I’ve been a Fender player forever. Just bought a PRS custom 24 core guitar and it is hands down better than any other guitar ai’ve picked up! Fretboard is like a dream and tones are sick!

i not sure how I missed when this came out, but wanted to give a shout out to the Cf song manager in case there are others like me... Simple download for free in the tools section above.... Fixes the 100% glitch that happens to lots of songs you download. i have 1600 songs in my collection... 900 of them had this glitch. You can sellect all songs in your collection and it will fix only the ones that need fixing and skip the rest. Took about 3 hours for my 1600 songs to be fixed. so now it will give you the acurrate percent played instead of just rolling to 100%.... It also can add DD to songs... I’m getting pretty good and don’t use DD anymore, but by adding it, you can have all your songs sort by “played last.” I really like this because it lets me keep track of songs that I was working on that Im not ready to tag as one of my favorites just yet... It does lots of other stuff too, but these were the two biggies for me!

Never mind... searched .rar files and found out they were a new type of .zip file that windows 10 couldnt handle without a download... all fixed!

I downloaded cfsm and it is a .rar file. where do I put this or how do I install it? if I put it on my desktop and click it, the computer asks me what file to open it with?

so I installed the tool kit on my computer, then I downloaded the CFSM file (it is .rar?) and put it on the desktop. Clicked it and it asks what program to use to open it? Should I put it somewhere else... am I doing something wrong?

Hey All, I have never done anything with the custom tool kit before. My favorite thing about rocksmith is the gratification that I get from increasing my percentage played on a song as I get better. Lots of the CLDC does not have the ability to store the percentage you got right or mastered. Some of the CLDC does keep track, but gives you 100% no matter how well you play it. Make no mistake, I thoroughly appreciate all the work it had to take to make these songs both musically and being able to navigate the custom tool kit. However, is there anyone that could give me a quick “cook book” instruction on what I would have to do to modify these songs in order for them to display percentage played?

Everyone has there own views on gear.... I looked into doing this, but instead bought and ABY switch to be able to play thru my own amp with the game still recognizing what Im playing and the backtrack still coming thru the TV.... As a result, ive gotten better at changing my tone on my own I thru my amp while getting better at playing... If you have your own amp, I highly recommend it!!!

I have the Xwire system and it is amazing! I hate supercoiled cords - from rock climbing, to hoses, to Guitar cords. The $140 for the xwire receivers was worth every penny!!!!

You can turn off all the flashings and “steamer” effects in the options menu...

Ive had this happen to me before.... and I was doing exactly what you were doing... moving too fast for the program and trying to move along before rocksmith is done loading what I asked it to do first... i just chalked it up to glitching the program by hitting too many buttons too fast. In our world of great computers, this doesnt happen too much anymore, but used to happen all the time back in the day. I think all of the custom programming we do to make CDLC work makes it possible to glitch it this way....

Hey All, I like to use the last played sorting tool to keep the songs Im working on at the top of my list. Ive notice with some if the CDLC songs that they dont sort in last played. The only connection Ive found is that they dont have DD and they dont give you a percentage played at the end of finishing the song. Has anyone else had this problem or come up with a solution? I’m thinking that maybe the person who made the CDLC didnt finish something? Just in case someone needs an example and has the knowledge to figure it out (unfortunately I don’t), one of the songs that doesnt sort is Making Memories by Rush.
