  1. hey all, I havent used rocksmith in a long time and just started to get back into it.... Im having a hard time remembering how to change the DLC Key. The song Caravan by Rush has the same DLC key as Sweet pee by System of a Down and therefore they glitch when tried to be played (atleast I think thats why. How do I cvhange the DLC key? Secondly, I few songs (Iris and Top by Live) just get kicked out of custom forge one it loads and checks files. How do I figure out what needs to be repaired? Lastly, Once I fix these bugs, can I repost for the community as long as I give the original author credit? Thanks for any advice, Chad

  3. Hey all, I see there is a playthrough video of Dirt by Alice in Chains on youtube, but it isn't on the list of Downloads. Anyone have the file and could add it back to the list?
  4. I wouldn't waste money on really good computer speakers... Buy an ABY pedal from Morley or Radial, split the signal and spend your money on a nice guitar amp... That way you have something to play on when you get good away from Rocksmith :)
  5. definitely the part of the game that needs updating the most... I play thru my amp, but the rocksmith cables just fiz out over time....
  6. whoever put it back up, thanks!
  7. same problem guys... bummer
  8. I have the digitech drop and love it! I hate the tones that the game has preset, so I have my own amp and small pedal board including the Drop that I play thru. I use a Switchbone V2 pedal to split the signal to both rocksmith and my amp (and it has an awesome boost). With the amp on, you can't hear your sting clicks at all (which would be annoying since they may not be the tuning that the drop is emmiting). I have two guitars - one tuned to E standard and one to drop D. with two guitars tuned this way and the Drop pedal, you never have to stop to retune (just switch guitars and/or change the pedal dial). It is well worth the $100... you won't regret it!!
  9. Hey Cozy1, Found a new error I've never seen before repairing a song.... It says the input string is in the wrong format?
  10. Correct! it fixes coding in the psarc file
  11. @@cfg So, when the bug was in pace on the song, you achieved the 100% (because of the bug). so, the save file thinks you played it perfectly. The CFSM fix can't go back and figure out what you played correctly in the past. It can only fix it so the game reads it correctly the next time you play the song (and every time after that). So, you need to check the box to not preserve stats and have it go back to 0% and then replay the song. If you preserve the stats, the song will still show a 100%; however, it will show you the correct percentage each time you play it- but will still display 100% for your best score, because it thinks you did that... hope that makes sense.... the best thing to do is to run the 100% mastery bug fix on all of your non-repaired songs, reset all of their stats to zero, and then have real numbers going forward.... just dont forget to check new songs thru the CFSM when you add them in the future :)
  12. I updated to newest CFSM and it worked... thanks!!
  13. Sorry, I didn't explain my question very well.... I have done the quick repair on this particular (and a few other songs) and the repair fails and sends the song to quarantine. If I don't repair the song, it works fine, but has the 100% mastery bug still. And I have to keep remembering to not repair it when adding new content. Is there a way to repair a song that keeps failing the quick repair?
  14. hey all, Looking for a little guidance on how to repair really old CDLC. I've run across a few songs (still of the night by whitesnake for example) that fail when trying to repair the 100% bug. They are all songs created quite a while ago... Is there anywhere that has a walkthru on how to fix these?

  16. The best solution is to buy a Digitech Drop pedal. It will cost you about $150, but you can dropby half steps allthe way down to a full octave. You would have to tune your guitar to E standard, but then you could change to any tuning you want by changing a click on the pedal
  17. bummer... thanks for the quick answer!
  18. it would be cool if you could change the name of the tuning... I have tons of songs that are labeled as other. It would be nice to change the tuning to what they actually are so when sorting by tuning, you could play some of the wierd tuning songs in a row...
  19. 24 fret PRS birds would be awesome! there is already a 17 fret one, but it would be nice to have the next couple of birds!

  21. Does anyone know if you can change a song from a rythm path to a lead path? For example, fox on the run by sweet, it is in the rythm path so when Im on lead path (as I always am) it shows ws up with an X for the percentage played. It has a lead option once you go into the song. Is there a way to switch around which one if the primary path?
  22. I am also a rock climber and have been really impressed with a product called "climb on". It is a balm that you put on blisters/road rash/tore up skin and it heals in about 12 hours.... you can find it at most climbing stores or on amazon....
  23. Anyone have Sister Christian by Night Ranger.... I can see it on youtube, but it's not in the CDLC listings.... my guess is the link went bad... anyone still have it?
