  1. First SA run...maybe too early, but I wasn't feeling patient today. And since rhythm is so similar I tried it too. Wow, that run sure repeats more! And I remembered I hadn't tried the Rodeo rhythm. Went to master mode as soon as I could. I have a theory about repetitive rhythm parts. I think the rhythm guitarist skipped band practice that day, so the lead singer wrote the part as penance. Every show from then on the rhythm guitar player remembers why you DON'T SKIP BAND PRACTICE!
  2. Dang, you make that look so easy. I guess I should expect that from you, but I'm still in awe.
  3. A few runs on bass, Looking for that one last note to complete the set. Wow...this is a finger flying workout! I think RS was generous, it didn't sound that good.
  4. Yes, but it is probably just me getting a little too into it and trying Pete Townshend moves ;)
  5. Made the mistake of playing this a little too loud and a little too late. This isn't a bedtime song :)
  6. I got out my Gretsch thinking I hadn't played it in a while... It was good on lead... No score on rhythm...Literally all the first chords start at the 17th fret....the Gretsch has no cutout so I couldn't get them...lol. I'll be back to you later! I enjoyed this one...those runs are going to be just the kind of thing I want to practice! That misspelling in the title drives me nuts, but I love Def Leppard.
  7. Spreadsheet updaters, I think my 88.63% on Amorphis got applied to @@Bounours. Maybe my intermediate Lead as well? I'm happy to share my score on Alvvays with him, but my score on Amorphis is a battle trophy to be hung on my wall as a warning to future songs!
  8. more work again this morning. There is one section that gets me every time, need to RR it again.
  9. Finally improved my score...been grinding on it. Had to break it back down in RR cause I was practicing my mistakes rather than improving. This one turned into a vendetta...I finally got through it in SA after 7 tries.
  10. I'm starting to enjoy this song more and more.... This one seems way easier in comparison
  11. Back home, time for some bass. Had to try Paradise City. Then back to my class. Also gave it a run on lead...pretty fun song. I'm not sure which song is going to be counted for intermediate rhythm, so I tried this one. Pretty bad playing. Not good at the 3-3-5 3-5-5 mix with the power chords.
  12. I don't have answers, but I will offer encouragement. Fight through that plateau! I heard a quote recently that good players practice what they are good at, great players practice what they aren't good at.
  13. Lead seems a big hill this week, I'll slow it way down and work on it. Rhythm is easier, or I'm getting to the point of moving up? @@Bounours, I need a push this week, let's battle!
  14. I didn't get any rhythms scores posted so here is a rushed effort. I can't believe the week is over already! Time flies when you are are on vacation! Almost embarrassed to post this one...
  15. Played for like 4 hours straight, it was awesome! Improved some scores while I was at it. Still a section here I don't follow what is going on well. Haven't riff repeated it though, so I deserve a low score. This one is pleasant to repeat over and over. Finally got it score attack worthy.
  16. I've gotten a few runs, but it has been sporadic.
  17. Thanks @@RSjeffH...looking forward to it!
  18. I'm starting to get worse every time I play this, so I tried master mode on a lark. Didn't do as well as I thought, but I made it through.
  19. I may quote this every time I miss a slide!
  20. a few more runs....still looking for those missed notes.
  21. a run or two bass The long intro is frustrating on this one.
