  1. Revisiting bass, some improvement. Hard to compete with @@PinKushin, but I'm trying.
  2. Finally broke 96 And I'm still having fun on Piece of my Heart.
  3. Baby steps on lead Big steps (or a lucky run) on rhythm. I finally got a bit of progress with Janis. Man, what I'd give to hear this unplugged. The distortion covers up some really nice technical work (the original guitarist's, not mine, my technical work is bad) In high school I was on a team that went to state in cross country. One of the seniors begged us to let him start in front. For the first 200 yards he sprinted his heart out and lead the race. He finished 152nd, but for a few glorious moments he was in front. That is how I feel, I'm leading Advanced Rhythm!!
  4. Had a good time playing over lunch, felt like I was in the groove. I'm digging this song more and more, full of musical interest. Got a few strikes, but didn't wash out in SA. It doesn't sound great, but I'm amazing myself that I'm keeping up with the song.
  5. Had a few extra minutes, played though and made some improvements.
  6. I played this one six months ago and only got 85%....maybe I'm getting better. Man, TIna can sure belt it out! Love this song, but it humbles me, I can't do it justice.
  7. I did it! A full year of playing Rocksmith every day! It took several nights playing in motel rooms, playing while sick, and I came very close to not being able to play yesterday when the roads back into town were all closed! That would have been so hard to fall one day short!
  8. Still sounds bad, maybe Rocksmith guy is a bad judge of character. I play this when I've seen too much Underwear. Back to the Underwear! I think of this song when doing laundry now.
  9. Working up the speed...still feels like flailing at full speed.
  10. You all make this look too easy. My fingers still need a seeing eye dog for that first part.
  11. I really enjoyed Lost Royal Republic...never disappoints. They do what they do un-apologetically. I hate to say it, but they may be growing on me.
  12. hmmm...really enjoyed this today, don't remember it being that fun last time.
  13. lots of RR. sorry isn't score attack.
  14. Rough week, didn't work on songs much. I feel like I was playing it, but would miss streaks of notes that I thought I was playing right. Got pretty frustrated.
  15. A small improvement on bass.
  16. I have to agree, this is probably a 4. Easier than the last two weeks for sure.
  17. Not very consistant, but maybe that will come with more plays.
  18. Figured out the lead part. I really like the intro, I wish they repeated that theme elsewhere in the song. Maybe during those long breaks? Cleaned up the bass some. and a bit of Whitesnake. Not at the level of that run in there.
  19. Isn't that the whole point of music? Soundtrack of our life and all? We used to listen to Here I Go Again before cross country meets to get in the zone. Seemed appropriate for a solo sport.
  20. I feel like I have a target on my back with these Saturday Morning SnipersTM!
