  1. Some scores... Been trying this with the multi track....I don't sound very good!
  2. SA for Battle for Light, my score is on the left for lead. @@flamemaster582 is on the right for bass, but it looks like he posted in last weeks thread. I'll get him to repost.
  3. More detune pedal "testing" :) And I made it through Every Breath You Take in SA! That was my goal for the week. After working on it a ton, I think this is a 6. The pattern is easy, but the finger strength is something that comes with more advanced play. and more Freakin bass :)
  4. I found a detune pedal at a good price, so had to try it out over lunch. Luckily we have a D standard song this week :) Made some good progress on my class song too.
  5. It only got worse from here.
  6. I finally got a valid score to post for Every Breath!
  7. Freaking better.... and on bass Pretty good for a sight read.
  8. Me too, having the same exact problem. That and the other change....you know...the first one. And the second one. And the rest of them. Yeah....all of them really.
  9. Getting a late start this week.
  10. Not enough to beat @@ZeroPingNZ....well played! Had to try it out on bass too, just for fun.
  11. More Resolve. So many missed notes in the middle of the strumming patterns. I wish I knew how I was missing them. My lead score is on the left, 96.92%. That score on the right, my son's sight-read on bass. I don't think I realized how good my kids were getting.
  12. A little playing over lunch. @@Sebb...I've missed our battles! Game on! Not quite enough to best your lead score, but I'm breathing down your neck! But rhythm is. A little SA on Mr. Crowley.
  13. I'm thinking more and more that Resolve rhythm is a 5. The slides at the end are just killer and some are so long that you have to have better technique or you kill the sustain. Looking at the scores posted for lead versus rhythm it appears the the rhythm path is more difficult. Now i'm not convinced that the lead path is a 5.5, I would rate them both 5.
  14. A little more work on Resolve. Those slides at the end....ug. Maybe I'll break 90% on this one before the week is out. No strikes tho. Can't say that about lead, I can't even fake the solo.
  15. Mr. Crowley on bass is more approachable for me. Wow...that run is even harder on bass for some reason. Played Resolve with my daughter and improved my lead to 93%. She rocked it fully leveled and now she wants to be in the championships too. She wanted to play it again so I worked on rhythm some more for a 90%.
  16. A tiny bit better on my second runs, but not feeling like I'm rocking it for sure.
  17. My first runs. I want to like the Foo Fighters, but they just don't speak to me. Maybe this week I'll grow an appreciation. Lead is pretty fun. Trying to stretch myself to the next class. Toto isn't having it. I have to say, I expected this to be a geographically inaccurate song about Devils Tower in Wyoming in the same vein as Africa. Not sure what it is about still, but it seems like they wrote it after watching Close Encounters. I seem to have stumbled into masterclass. Mr. Crowley says "Get Out!"
  18. End of the week is coming...better take a few swings on bass
  19. Such a strange song.
  20. First runs Didn't want to re-tune bass for my class, so trying Pusherman Starting Beast over 90%, that is encouraging! A crazy good second run on rhythm! Oh, it is a 4, I thought I was getting better. Nope, not that good. Thank you Slash for putting me back in my place. I don't even remember what songs I'm supposed to be working on. My son came in and wanted to play. We went on a Leo kick so we tried this one that @@Rodman so kindly created. Thanks!
