  1. You all make this look too easy. My fingers still need a seeing eye dog for that first part.
  2. I really enjoyed Lost Royal Republic...never disappoints. They do what they do un-apologetically. I hate to say it, but they may be growing on me.
  3. hmmm...really enjoyed this today, don't remember it being that fun last time.
  4. lots of RR. sorry isn't score attack.
  5. Rough week, didn't work on songs much. I feel like I was playing it, but would miss streaks of notes that I thought I was playing right. Got pretty frustrated.
  6. I have to agree, this is probably a 4. Easier than the last two weeks for sure.
  7. Not very consistant, but maybe that will come with more plays.
  8. Figured out the lead part. I really like the intro, I wish they repeated that theme elsewhere in the song. Maybe during those long breaks? Cleaned up the bass some. and a bit of Whitesnake. Not at the level of that run in there.
  9. Isn't that the whole point of music? Soundtrack of our life and all? We used to listen to Here I Go Again before cross country meets to get in the zone. Seemed appropriate for a solo sport.
  10. I feel like I have a target on my back with these Saturday Morning SnipersTM!
  11. A lot of my wrist pain actually got better after I took up guitar. Maybe a different type of movement from the keyboard? I'm not sure. I do try to remind myself to fret softly however.
  12. Glad things are working out for you! What a relief you didn't have to sell your stuff!
  13. That sounds like a normal week for me :) I did have to promise to start wearing headphones while riff repeating. My family was starting to revolt.
  14. This is the underrated part of the comment. It isn't always you that is the roadblock. I played clarinet for several years and was terrible. (I know, you are thinking, but diceslinger, we thought you we so cool!) Then an instructor showed me I had a warped mouthpiece. One new mouthpiece and I was immediately twice as good!
  15. My fingers felt like lead...I think I was lucky to get this score.
  16. I'm enjoying the contrasting lead and rhythm parts. Same strumming pattern different chords.
  17. I know this is kinda closing the barn door after the cows already got out, but after my first realtone cable started dying I bought a passive DI box. My realtone cable goes into it, it sits on the computer, I have a normal cheap 1/4 inch cord from it to my guitar. It was only $20, so I figure if it save me from replacing even one realtone cable I've saved money. My kids can treat the cheap cables as bad as they want and I don't stress it.
