Sooo, second week in a row a song I have chosen in Masterclass. I must confess, they are both still a little too hard for me. The songs are part of my Lead 'stretch goal' collection, songs that I can technically (mostly) play, but are just a bit to fast. They do sound not too bad in RR at 90% :) From time to time I retry them full speed, to see if they seem easier now. I added them to the song selection sheet last time, because why not. I love the melodies in this song. Highly Suspect is a new discovery for me. Cool stuff, I like it a lot.

Yes, the bass chart seems very forgiving. I play it with a pick, but it really is played fingered originally.

I'm guilty of spending too much of my time on Beat Saber lately and my guitar playing suffers. When I tried to play 'Only for the weak' yesterday, my fingertips hurt after a while. That has not happened to me for quite some time.So (hopefully) back to more guitar playing, but I need to start slow :)

I do not seem to get any more time to play, so I just submit these scores from earlier this week as 'also ran'.

Firsts tries for this week: I can clearly play the bass better with a pick. This warrants a score attack.

Found some time for Megadeth, rhythm guitar: That was a good run, until I f*cked up the bends at the end. 12gauge strings in E-Standard is tiring the fingers. It sounded ok, though.
