What is OBS?? I don't follow? Clarify for me and I can probably help. Also what is does your Ini file look like?

Are you playing on the first Surface pro model? And I have no clue what OBS streaming is. I know this much. If you turn your settings (visually) all the way down, you can play this game with zero problems. I have over 3,000 songs and have no issues, unless I catch a bad cdlc. Anyway. Fill me in on the OBS thing.

This is EXACTLY what I've been planning to do!!!! I just moved so I was having to hold off another pay period or two. But I wanted to download Bias 2, and play it along with RS!!! Can you tell me exactly what I'll need, and how you did it? I'm playing on a Surface Pro Tablet, and have been for years. But I've been dying to get my hands on bias, and play with it and RS at the same time!

Have you tried Calibrating your guitar???? Changing the lag settings on your game? Or gone into Steam, and changed any setting in there? I've been playing Rocksmith on a Surface Pro 1 with all of the visual settings turned off, and I keep my latency buffer on 7 to 10.. I literally change it all around there. For whatever reason I get WAY different tone when I change the latency buffer. Right now it's on 9, and every song I play is right on par.. If i put it on anything lower than 6 it sounds like muddy dog shit in my opinion.

I've had over 3,000 for a long time now. I've even deleted old files, or lost them,a nd redownloaded, or downloaded new ones. I don't use CFSM though.

I've had the surface Pro 1 since it was brand new back in 2014. I take it everywhere with me, and I always keep an hdmi cable, and my adapter with me. I do this so I can make ANY TV that has an HDMI plug in, my monoitor. The only Tv's that don't are old shitbox TV's and I've only seen those still around in a few crap places lol. Anyway I NEVER use my pen. I guess I just don't need too. But I still have it. I was thought I'd chime in and let you know that it's what I play Rocksmith with, and on too! I jsut turn down the visual settings, but like it matters anyway. You wouldn't even notice if you were playing.. I love my surface. I'll swear by it! I most definitely love the face that it operates as a desktop and a tablet. I never use tablet mode, but it's nice to have I guess. Good luck buddy! Cheers!

Just make a post mentioning the song. For instance. I love the song Horizons by Parkway Drive. It showed to be available for download on ignition. But when you click on the link, it says error 404 not found. I guess the guy had taken down his link... But to my discovery it mentioned somewhere either here on the forums, or when you click the actual song link on ignition (where it showed their album art, who the artist is, who createc the cdlc, and the download link). I just started messaging guys on here asking if they could send me the cdlc in an email file. I knew the song existed, because someone did a terrible cover of it on youtube lol! It's just got a shit tone, but I fixed that right up just using my own tone. Anyway hope this helps.

I have a question then to add to this thread. How, and what would be the best way to go about an Audio interface on Windows 10??? I have really been eyeballing the hell out of BIAS FX, by Positive Grid. And I'm eventually going to buy it. I just want to use it with RS. I've done a little research on it, but I'm curious to know if anyone has any info on the most efficient way to run an interface on a Windows PC, or Surface Pro. Cheers!

And I thought I was the only one going bat shit crazy. I've been ****ing with my cdlc, reinstalling, uninstalling so much I've managed to lose track of 500 songs, and end up with a shit ton of old songs I haven't seen in forever. I don't know what to make of it.. Pisses me off to no end though. I just accidentally permanently deleted all my cdlc right out of my RS folder, when I tried to delete a file called Metadata.. It didn't look familiar and somehow that took out all my RS songs. I'm in the process of retrieving them now.. I've had it with this !!!!

go back and look a little closer. You don't have to have an account to download from mega. Yes that site is a pain in the ass. But if you'll look over to your left, and click on the file, and then click download you should be good to go buddy.

FInally fixed it today! I just did a search on my C:/ for Steam, and Rocksmith. Both at separate times, and deleted every damn file I could find. After reinstalling Steam, and RS. My Cdlc is alive!!!

lol oh yeah! I've had CDLC and rocksmith for years! I've got over 3,000 songs, but for whatever reason, they wont show up in the damn game. I think I have to many copies of steam, and RS on this computer. I deleted my windows.old files just because I got so damn sick and tired of this ****!! And yes, and I have Cherub rock! I don't know what is going on, or how the hell I keep getting so many damn copies of steam, and RS on the same damn computer.. But it's driving me crazy!!!!

I've reinstalled windows, reset my pc, and everytime I put my CDLC in my dlc folder, and a fresh DLL file in my rocksmith folder. Absolutely jack **** happens! I've been sitting here for hours on end, reinstalling, deleting, patching up old file extensions etc (boredom) and I still can't get RS to work with CDLC... It's pissing me off!!! It's been a full week, that i've been messing with this damn thing, I even downloaded CFSM and ran the beta, and although the files show to be there. Absolutely nothing is showing in the game as far as CDLC goes... It's gotta be some corrupt file in my dlc list.. No other explanation for this annoying ****! Sorry for the rant, I'm just so over ****ing with it right now.. Any suggestions and I would be grateful!

AHhh I know what your problem is... Save your tone to a tone stick or number.. For instance it only lets you save 3 different tone sticks.. typically this would be saving to 2, 3, & 4, on your keyboard. After you save it click back on your tone stick settings and press whatever number key you want to assign it too.. You're good to go The reason the tone switches back int he game is because #1 on your keyboard is the tone that is set for that song... So meaning if i create a tone and im playing around with it.. Once you start a new song it switches over to #1 which is the games tone, or better put the automatic tone assigned for that particular song. if you want to switch and play the song with the tone you just created. Press 2, 3, or 4 whichever you assigned the tone too and there you go! You can also on tone selector click on balance, and you can really crank the tone up or down if it's to vague... Hope this helps!

go download PinkFloyd - Comfortably Numb ... and make sure it's the one from the PULSE album! To me personally I think it's the best solo tone in the game as far as E standard goes. It's by far the cleanest I've heard thus far... You can to my knowledge use any tone in the game you want.. just select it under authentic tone, and if you want to customize it, do it after you've selected the one you want and saved it to a tone stick... after that you can go edit it to your liking if you want.. you can also edit it immediately just be selecting it.. but i prefer to save it first because sometimes I'll edit the tone and i forget to save it. Anyway I hope that answered your question. Also make sure when you calibrate your guitar.. to do it everyday you start to play the game.. Unless your guitar sits in a room, or a case indoors , then chances are the will move, pushing yoru strings farther, or closer away from your pick ups.. also make sure you clean your strings after you play... It may sound great one day and then after a 3 hr jam session after your hands were oiley, and had god knows what on them before you played.. it might sound like total shit the next time.. I tune on the neck pick up with the tone knob alll the way down as I was told this will help you get the most accurate tune... I don't know if it's true or not but thus far seems to be working great... Anyway then i switch on my guitar to the middle selection where i have both both the neck, and the bridge pick up selected, and i turn the tone knob about 4\5th's to 3\5th's of the way up and the volume i turn about 8 to 9 / 10th's the way up... and then lightly palm mute your strings at the beginning and use a pick you can actually "STRUM" with! i started casually and work up to as fast and as hard as i can without digging into the strings and plucking, and when it says to mute the strings again i just tap my strings with both hands or with my fretting hand and let it ring out what's left. after i go through the tuning and it's done, i switch over to my bridge pick up, and turn both knobs up and then tone knob to whatever soundst he best at that point.. This is just my tips for a better tone.. You might also mess with your pick ups.. I keep a little screw driver set in my bag solely for this and for adjusting intonation on the tuneomatic bridge i have on my ESP LTD MH100QM"NT... Anyway the tone in this game can be royal shit too if you're using something like Bluetooth,, or shit settings for audio... If you can use an optical cable I plug that into my 7.1 surround sound turtle beach DSS adapter, and then run an auxiliary cable to my portable bose when i was to crank it, or i use my turtle beach X32 headset when i cant crank it.. I have zero latency issues and it sounds hella good.. But if i don't have the optical cable it sounds like run over dog shit in my opinion.

Ya get a Kempler, or BIAS FX.. You won't ever need pedals and all that jazz ever again.

I'm not the biggest Floyd fan, I don't mind it. But I absolutely love David Gilmour's solos.. Especially the Pulse version on Igniton ... If you haven't downloaded it fellas DO IT! I wish someone could upload this version too.. Start the vid at 5:09 its flawless and once it his around the 800 minute mark the dude just starts to get into it.. I love the outrro this guy did... I just figured you guys would enjoy this.. If any of you are cdlc creators.
