  1. Wow, 91% after only one play? Nice one. I've played it 18 times so far and haven't even cracked 90%. Personally I'm finding this song tougher than last week's intermediate song (Wish You Were Here). Might give it another shot tonight, but I don't know if I'll improve upon that. I sight read pretty well. Thats what playing Rocksmith for awhile will get you along with a life time of playing video games leave my hand eye coordination high. I excel there but you excel by far in keeping a rhythm which is a much more needed skill imo. I can only smoke so much, so I am going to give it another go and see if I can bump it up.
  2. All I was saying is I had a different answer to the original post. Which post is right? @@Rodman or @@Mortalo . I know we can just say I want to be a master class and it s done, but I believe you gain more from earning it. Thats all I was asking for which @@Rodman gave but I was already told no as seen below. It is what it is.......
  3. Very nice. No, we won't make a list. Even better: You can keep working on any song from the past (3/5/7) of your liking until you hit that 99+/99.5+ and post it when achieved to level up in the meaning of the oldschool way! We have good reasons to have level up esp. uncomplicated, one is that there can be months without uppermost diff songs in classes and that will not be changed. Me myself i am definately an oldscool upleveler cause it adds a lot extracompetition against oneself and the pushing over those high limits is a very challenging thing i would not do otherwise... Sorry for the late answer but summer and holidays keep pushing through ;) Happy to get an hour of playtime a day. Happy upleveling everyone and when you post your score please make shure to let us know about the advancement cause it wont show up in any leaderboard! Gesendet von meinem SM-G920F mit Tapatalk Awesome. That's what I was getting at, using old songs as a way to pass the old school way at any time. Now we have one who said no and you said yes, who decision counts? :) In Denver....for the scenery of course so 1 play and thats it for me and i am back to looking at the pretty mountains and nothing else at all. http://imgur.com/a/LCICu

  5. Nope, not at all, totally magnanimous. I appreciate it, and I'm glad we got that sorted out. --------- Tried so hard to beat the top score on this one, but no luck. My play count is up to 20 at this point, but my best score so far was on number twelve: I was lucky to get that score. It is scrolling by so fast that is memorizing. I would literally get lost in the scroll and miss a fret change. Its like highway blindness when you drive for awhile a kinda forget the last few miles.
  6. I would like the RS Championship leaders to consider a proposal. Have a set "list" that can be used to move up to the next level for those who want to do it the old fashion way and not just wave a magic wand and be promoted. Simply reasoning is that I have something to work on when a song doesn't recognize bends or slides.... and the other song has been beat to death and there is nothing for me to get promoted with. The other reason is one song may appeal to me more than what comes up the next time. The final reason is you may not have time to work on a song during the rare case a promotion worthy song comes up. I am totally coming at this from the 1 and done beginner bass perspective as it is much more common to have promote able songs in the above classes and they will happen less often. Guitar is another monster since you need 3 to move up, but I see no reason beginners couldn't have songs to work towards promotion as well. The list could be pulled pretty quickly from past weeks but I totally understand if this would effect the "system" in a negative way.
  7. I didn't see that as passive aggressive at all. Quite the opposite in fact. I have 570 hours on Rocksmith in the 4 years I have been playing and i have been getting lessons for the last few months. Most of that was lead and bass is a different animal but you have been playing 3 months and the 5 weeks you have been here, you have beaten my score 3 times! You have beaten Tupoloflyer every week except last. Your batting over .500 and are going to overtake me on the leader board before long. I would say for 3 months playing you have something I am trying really hard to get down. Playing a consistent (tupo's word used correctly as I think he meant it) tempo at whatever BPM the song is. It shows in the scores when we are fighting for top scores @ 100%. That is all precision and possibly a little luck. I think you are selling yourself short.
  8. First run. Thanks @@Poutzy for the gorillaz bend fix, Will give it another shot now. http://i.imgur.com/p05w3FV.jpg?1 @@Fraggle Baggle How do i get imgur to show up directly? I isnt working the same as photobucket who just gave me the 3rd party boot. Thanks @@Fraggle Baggle. Not sure why it works now and not before... I used the insert image from the direct link just as before,
  9. Sounds just like me. My fingers are dumb some weeks. This Gorilla song doesn't recognize my bends for anything. I wont be messing with it any more.
  10. His highest difficulty is beginner. He would have to pass the test to become intermediate just as I was trying to do last week. You can play beginner to MC but the only score that matters is the difficulty level you belong in. The statement means if a MC got 100% and 50 billion for a score, his 50 billion doesn't over ride your 50% score because he is not in that class.
  11. 1% improvement. .51% to go with 3 days left. The more I play the song the more i enjoy it. This isn't my typical music by far but it has grown on me with that funk groove sound. I wont be deleting it from my playlist when this week is over. http://i1178.photobucket.com/albums/x368/Silentmetonedef/20170705031734_1_zpsdt1a70hf.jpg
  12. This post never happened. Nothing to see here.....
  13. Creeping up from my start point of 89%. I have the hard parts down but am making dumb mistakes like missing the intro groove that repeats later in the song. Fun song to play though and am enjoying it even if I don't hit 99.5%. http://i1178.photobucket.com/albums/x368/Silentmetonedef/20170702152931_1_zpsuaudqrv5.jpg
  14. Lets get this out of the way So I can work on intermediate. http://i1178.photobucket.com/albums/x368/Silentmetonedef/20170701174727_1_zpsggetbkml.jpg And it would be wrong of me not to let everyone know that I am the absolute best in the Rocksmith world at this song. I have way to many screen names I am noticing... http://i1178.photobucket.com/albums/x368/Silentmetonedef/20170701174740_1_zpshomu4czu.jpg
  15. Thanks. I made a few more attempts after that, and got 100% once more, and though I felt like I did better, (especially late in the song when you're only playing the A string really fast, as the first time it felt really shaky like I was going to blow it at any second), I barely cracked a million. Sometimes you just can't tell. Please don't get me wrong. I was just messing with you Oh yeah, I know. I'm not sure why you took my reply to mean that I took yours as a negative towards me, but I did not at all. No worries. I didn't. I just wanted to be clear. Intentions aren't always shown through text well.
  16. Thanks. Sometimes you just can't tell. Please don't get me wrong. I was just messing with you and enjoy the challenge as it pushes me to go further. A little improvement for me, but saw no reason to keep pushing for that perfect run. You bested me and I am ok with that:) Honestly the best thing about the week was no blisters!! Give us a 3 difficulty song so we can see if its time to move up. http://i1178.photobucket.com/albums/x368/Silentmetonedef/20170630232551_1_zpsurcnugyb.jpg So I decided to go for MM. I believe it is worth an extra point. I sure hope it doesn't have to be done at 100% for an extra point:) http://i1178.photobucket.com/albums/x368/Silentmetonedef/20170630233018_1_zpsyq0v1oko.jpg
  17. Yay i took the le...WTF Shocked Mind! Nice score... forcing me to go back again.... http://i1178.photobucket.com/albums/x368/Silentmetonedef/20170630172046_1_zpsetsri04p.jpg
  18. Finally detuned again. Round 2. http://i1178.photobucket.com/albums/x368/Silentmetonedef/537b9311-6b86-4687-9af3-c208a397e00f_zps23gntct2.jpg
  19. I knew this song growing up as a kid with the parent listening to it. The one hit wonders of the 70's, so I thought I would give it a shot. I may work on it more. One spot keeps getting me though.... http://i1178.photobucket.com/albums/x368/Silentmetonedef/20170626202029_1_zpsj1kmnh1z.jpg
  20. You just need to shrink it. I just size it in half to 512x288.
  21. If you wouldn't use that middle finger so much, this wouldn't happen. I know the salute you were giving...
  22. What is this Junge song about? If i am going to play it for a week, figure I should know heh.
  23. Yes, 99+ on guitar and 99,5+ ob bass on tje uppermost difficulty moves you up. Just the song last week was a 2 on bass... Gesendet von meinem SM-G920F mit Tapatalk I could have swore it said 3.... maybe I just saw it as 3 on lead and had that in my head.
  24. The Kelly Clarkson is just a joke! We're playing Rainbow this week. Sorry to any Kelly Clarkson lovers I might have got excited. I am not offended at all. I am quite glad I don't have to play country or pop, whatever it is that she does.
  25. I forget the rules. Does 100% on a Beg -3 song move me up? Not that I am looking forward to playing country...
