  1. Cool song. I like vibes from NFO. Remember testing this over a year ago, when I was creating a rain theme week. Kult is one of my favorite Polish bands. Lots of great song lyrics and music over 40 years of activity. I'm not a grunge fan either, but some songs I really like. For example Nutshell from the same album, I've played many, many times (ODLC). This song is ok, quite similar vibes. Oh, another insanely fast song, but technically manageable. Good week!
  2. Just wanted to point out that this 99.5% rule for a 7 difficulty song seems to date back to before the bass 6-7 ratings were changed to 7-8 for advanced class. I think @ Razrshred has skill between advanced and masterclass (7.5), but looking back a few weeks ago I outperformed him twice, so competition with him is possible. I think if he wins regularly every week, he should consider promotion.
  3. I try to add songs for beginners regularly so that there is always something to choose from. The problem may be the small number of competitors (currently only @ lowender compete there) who then play these songs. That's why it's good for higher classes players to play these songs for fun. Here, special thanks to @ johnal , who tries to master songs from the lower classes.
  4. I don't consider myself to be at the higher ends of the advanced scale. I'm far from it I would define myself as 6/10 on the championship scale, i.e. songs rated 6/10 (if rated correctly) I can play quite well, but 7/10 are often too difficult for me at least in some parts. With players from the first 4 places in the table, I don't really have a chance to compete, because their skills are such a strong 7, maybe 7.5, they are somewhere between advanced and masterclass. And so now we have a solstice of higher classes - adv and master, and a small number of competitors in lower classes. This is unlikely to change, because hardly anyone starts their adventure with RS from scratch.
  5. Late Bass. The Smiths have really nice bass charts. Btw. This is imo, well above beginner level. Lots of technical licks like hammers on and frequent string changes. A strong 5 for me. Quick improvement.
  6. Rhythm The rhythm here is very enjoyable. Not too hard, but quite fast.
  7. I mentioned that those far jumps on the fretboard can be problematic, but come on, you are a masterclass player after all! After a few attempts I did it And class improvement.
  8. There's no need. If I want to do a CDLC of some song, I do it myself. I meant that it's just good if the CDLC base increases with good quality customs.
  9. The link leads to the old database that has been replaced by Ignition. However, even in the current database, CDLC is not available. I have it on my computer, so I uploaded it to my drive. Here: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1bAPH_mWI_Sx82qfj16J-VpiMyGJ1LYGV?usp=sharing
  10. Lead sightreads / testing runs Fun song, these fast jumps from lower to high frets can be a bit problematic, that's why I added 0.5 to the difficulty rating. Another fun song. I don't know much about Accept's discography, but I like this song. Good riffs, and the solo is a strong 7 in difficulty. Good CDLC by @ Rodman . Too bad you're not doing new CDLCs lately. The opening riff in this song got my hand a little tired. Here I seriously got a hand ache from this repetitive riff.
  11. Done! But remember that in the advanced class there is a very tough competition.
  12. @ jellisjenius @ Rodman If the Mastodon song is indeed a 10 (I haven't tested it) shouldn't it be selected as GoG? If the difficulty rating is confirmed, I propose to make it Gog (Lead path) for 2 weeks, and as a masterclass lead add a song that has only lead path (there are several in the song selection sheet).
  13. Improvements: I noticed problems and low scores in this song, so I checked if I rated it well before. A bit right that the chart can be tricky, so this could be 5.5-6. I like this style of playing so I could underestimate the rating.
  14. It's good that you write on your behalf. Until now, when we entered the scores manually, scores from failed Score Attack run were accepted. Rocksmith calculates the rest of the song (the one we didn't finish) at 0%, which significantly lowers the final score, so I don't think there's anything unfair here. I just don't know what the OCR issue looks like in the case of reading such images. cc @ johnal
  15. I don't know why you're playing that song 'First Date' but this is not the right song this week.
  16. Bass I think all the songs this week have nice bass charts, well suited to the classes.
  17. Rhythm Yes, the rhythm path is a little harder than lead.
  18. From testing Not my style but good to play, easy technical, but quite fast. I really like both Morrissey's solo songs and his earlier ones with The Smiths. I liked the earlier Amorphis songs we played here better, but there's a nice chart here. Unfortunately, I have very bad chord recognition (which is not difficult), which spoils the final score a lot... Yes, this is crazy. I rate this 8.5 (in the sheet was 8), because generally there is no very difficult solo in the song, which is often the case in masterclass songs. But the whole song is very fast and quite technical and if Bottledpat says this is 9 I don't even think to argue with it.
  19. If you want to play those pinch harmonics right, it's not easy. But rocksmith doesn't know the difference between pinch harmonics and regular notes, so when you play normally, it counts.
  20. This week is over, thanks for competing! New championship week started here:
