  1. Thanks for having a look. I'm not sure that I understand what you mean, though. Are you saying that this could be caused by a bug in a recent build? Or that I should try changing the scroll speed? :)
  2. @@Brooklyn_Sounds I'd guess that yours is a slightly different issue, as you were able to get it working without DD. I'd had a few like that, but none since using DDC v2.7 @@TomSawyer2112 couldn't hurt to try that, I suppose. Seems so crazy it just might work :) I'll post back here if it does.
  3. Yes, with bass :) Worst case, I could just resync it and copy/paste the notes over to another instance of EoF. Hopefully it doesn't come to that. Plus, I'm not sure if this is some sort of genuine bug that the devs may want an opportunity to squash.
  4. I'm having this issue with 2 customs that I've made, and it's never occurred with any of the songs I've previously released. I haven't done anything differently outside of my normal process. Here are the two packages in question: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/ubhyopnao7k5mwu/AAC4aplsaspODlmrr0jCmVJZa?dl=0 I've already tried the following potential fixes: - repacking with both the last stable version of the toolkit as well as the most recent beta - packaging without DDC - regenerating the .wem, both manually through WWise and through the Toolkit's command line access - deleting all RS events and recreating them from scratch in EoF - re-importing all tones and arrangements into the toolkit At this point, I'm at a loss to figure out the cause. Obviously, let me know if any further information would be helpful. Thanks in advance to anyone who can help. Edit - Got All Along the Watchtower to work. I actually think it was because some of the notes weren't grid snapped. It must have happened when I made some slight adjustments to the sync recently. Good call Plum! Can't get it to work w DD though, but I'll bring that up elsewhere. However, the other package still does not work. Still tinkering with it.
  5. This might be as good of a place as any. If not, the mods will just move it to the forum they think would be more appropriate. The big question is whether or not you'll be able to get someone to help you. Not because we're collectively unhelpful, but there would probably have to be a fair amount of adoration for the song in question for someone to want to take time to edit your tab. Most requests for tabs (or similar) go unanswered because there's no one the likes the song enough to put the time in.
  6. I think this problem is caused by setting an incorrect value for the "seek table granularity." And yes, as stated, you don't have to worry about making mistakes with the .wem conversion if you use the Toolkit.
  7. Crap. Maybe I somehow posted a different version than the one I tested. I know I fixed those things... I'll take a look at it.
  8. If you've recently re-installed Rocksmith, then I'd suggest that you follow the steps in the tutorial again. If songs that once worked, no longer work, than perhaps you've missed a step since you re-installed. If you've followed the tutorial and you still have problems... perhaps try removing any custom songs from your dlc folder that you think we added after you started having issues. There's a chance that one of the more recent ones has corrupted your game.
  9. Just a guess, but maybe the text file has some characters that aren't supported, like an "&" or something like that. Maybe check the text file that Ultrastar created and see if there's anything that looks strange.
  10. You must be missing one of the required setup steps. Reading this tutorial in full should help: http://customsforge.com/topic/901-how-to-use-custom-dlcs-in-rs2014/
  11. Maybe try using the other dll file provided in the tutorial instead. I've seen one dll work for some people, while the other did not.
  12. Awesome! Can't wait to try it out. I've got Royal Orleans and Nobody's Fault But Mine almost done as well.
  13. That chord is played with your thumb on the low E string, your ring finger on the 7th fret of the D string, and your index finger on the high e string. You scan also play it by barring your index finger across the 5th fret, while curling it slightly to mute the other strings.
  14. Good god... so much to respond to. I honestly disagree with about 90% of those things. I mean that respectfully. I've found and fixed the "reverse D chord. I charted everything manually in EoF, so I must have lost concentration for a second. I also agree that I should end the song sooner. There's some notes still there when the song has already faded out. Again, I can't provide you with a Guitar Pro file because I don't use GP to make any changes. You export the .psarc to a guitar pro file using the toolkit if you like. This custom song took several hours of work, adding one note at a time. Many of your questions can be answered by looking at the text tab here: http://www.thewho.net/whotabs/tablature/seaandsand.txt The part you mentioned about a "missing fill" is actually two guitars playing different lead parts at the same time. When you listent to the multitracks, it sounds like the tape was cut and joined together as a method to overdub it. I could really only choose one part to include. Some of those chords that you don't like are supposed to be played with your thumb on the low E string. There's hand positions included, so you can refer to them to see how they're played. They're not really all that unusual. The rest of it I respectfully disagree with. I've listen to the isolated guitar parts so many times that I don't think I can be persuaded.
  15. Finished it up on my lunch break :) Here you go: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/vjo8iop8em9s8m9/AADloe0L-fjjArC3mAYnlDCWa?dl=0 As far as I can tell, the only left to do would be to possibly tweak the tones a bit. I'm not able to test this until later, but I'm quite certain the sync issue is now fixed. I wanted give you guys on the other side of the world something to test today :) @@Aludog - the bass part is fantastic. Every tone sounds the same to me, since I'm emulating bass... so let me know how it sounds.
  16. Also, because I'm starting a new project, I shouldn't have to worry about this problem popping back up when I go to plug the additional audio the multi-track versions. @@Aludog - When I have a working full band version, I'll create the "no guitar" audio.
  17. Finally finished Sea and Sand, but when I went to test it, I noticed that the sync was off just enough to make it very difficult to play. I've never had this happen to me. It appears that the waveform and audio in EoF (which is the first thing I look at when I sync) are off by noticeable amount. When the song is played back in EoF, all of the grid lines, notes, and music would lead you to believe that the sync is perfect. However, when you turn on the "clap" feature (which is supposed to clap for each charted note). the claps come about half a beat too early. This behavior is then duplicated in RS. I'm stumped... I think I'm going to have to start over from scratch in a new project folder. From there I can re-sync it and then copy paste everything over from EoF. Shouldn't take that long, but it's still a pain in the ass.
  18. If it's not an active pickup that needs a new battery... Does it happen in every pickup position? By seeing which pickups do and don't work, it can help you troubleshoot where the problem is in the wiring. You can also take off the pickguard and remove the input jack to see if there's a problem with one of your solder connections.
  19. We'd probably need more information that that in order to help you. Could you take a screenshot of the error message and post it here?
  20. Have you tried converting the audio directly in Wwise? Seems like the error is caused by the toolkit not playing nice with Wwise.
