Sigh.. nevermind guys. Turns out it is my guitar after all, I tried another one and the game worked perfectly. Weird, it worked just the other day. -_- Thanks for the help guys :)

Yeah. Also I have no sound effects in-game, like the voice over and when you navigate the menu, and everything in the mixer is set to 100. I have no idea how this even happened... my game is completely unplayable. :(

Okay, so I can't even play Rocksmith anymore and I have no idea why this is happening. I get no sound from the guitar whatsoever, yes I have checked the knobs and it works when I connect it to an amp, I even raised the cable gain to 10 db, I raised the volume levels in Windows, NOTHING WORKS. I can't even calibrate my guitar, it just goes up and down when it says "make some noise". I tried reinstall the cable drivers, I tried reinstalling the game, doesn't help. What the hell happened? Haha. HELP!!!

Hey, It seems like everytime I start the game the guitar tone changes for the worse, I look at some playthrough videos and their tone sounds absolutely awesome but when I play the same songs it sounds like I'm using some super cheap amp for the junkyard or something. I have EMG 81/60. Are there any settings that can improve the tone? Thanks

Hey, trying to find a good distortion tone but I never seem to be satisfied :D My guitar has EMG 81/60 pick ups. My favorite at this moment is the rhytmn tone from the JerryC - Canon Rock. Any tips on how to get a good tone? What tone are you guys using for metal and stuff? Maybe my settings are messed up? I dunno, maybe RS simply isn't that good at emulating distortion, I seem to get better sound from my practice amp lol.
