  1. I had this exact thing happen a few days ago. Did EoF give you an error saying something like "failed to export to RS2?" If so, EoF will seek to the time stamp of the culprit when it gives this error. Hopefully shedding further light on the cause. @@raynebc just released a new version (1434) that fixed my bug. Might be worth trying that first.
  2. I'll send you a psarc with the guitar parts when I'm done. -Edit - just Aludog's post. That works too :)
  3. Sounds like a plan. I was thinking about that issue with the guitars yesterday. There might not be a really clear way to make a multi-track of the rhythm part. I'm charting the rhythm arrangement to include the electric guitar that's panned to the right in original mix (primarily doubles the acoustic guitar track) along with acoustic guitar playing the arpeggios during the intro and quiet parts. The lead is primarily going to be the guitar panned to the left, with all the volume swells, solos/fills, etc.
  4. Whether we make it a multi-track or not, it's going to be a lot of fun to play. I might actually be more looking forward to the rhythm part since it'll allow me to practice my Pete Townshend moves :D http://38.media.tumblr.com/3450be1c267fc9a02258b2894cbded94/tumblr_mhd78l9ddj1rtyc83o1_500.gif
  5. Ooh that'd be sweet! I'm about halfway through charting the guitar parts. I'm hoping to finish it up today, but no hurry on your end. The only hurdle in making a multi-track custom is the mixing of the audio. I might be able to do it, but I can't make any promises :D
  6. This tutorial will show you how: http://customsforge.com/topic/9316-making-customs-with-auto-changing-tones/?do=findComment&comment=70808
  7. It would be helpful if we knew what you were trying to do. You never really mentioned that... Assuming you're having trouble downloading a CDLC from mediafire, both of the things they mentioned are possible causes - so they're not necessarily wrong. Have you actually tried clearing your browser cache and/or cleaning up your cookies? Also, do you have trouble downloading other files from mediafire, or just the one?
  8. Awesome. Thanks as always for the help. Will you be releasing the next hotfix soon?
  9. Since every CDLC here uses Cherub Rock for the app id, it might be worth it just to buy that. When you have to convert every single custom song over to Cherub Rock's ID, you might start regretting your decision. It'd personally be worth it to me to spend the small amount of extra money on Cherub Rock, but that's just me. I can't imagine having to convert every single CDLC I've played being worth saving a dollar or two.
  10. Ah, didn't realize you'd need that too. Here it is: https://www.dropbox.com/s/5da57l7ny1pgqih/notes.previous_save.previous_save.previous_save.previous_save.previous_save.previous_save.previous_save.eof?dl=0 I'm not sure why it adds another "previous_save" to the file name each time the project is saved. It doesn't happen with the vast majority of my other projects. But I suppose this might be besides the point :D
  11. @@Aludog - If you like, you could simply make a GP file for Sea and Sand's bass part. That way I can just import it into my project. I should have the guitar parts finished on Monday, I think :) However, if you'd prefer another method of collaboration, that's no problem either.
  12. As the title suggest, below is the EoF error that I'm getting: http://i.imgur.com/lxhE75c.jpg In case it's tough to see, it seeks to the arpeggio chord all the way to the left of the pic. It does actually save the arrangement .xml, but I get the following error in the Toolkit when trying to add it: http://i.imgur.com/XRC5iIJ.jpg I am in fact using the latest version of EoF (1432). Here's the arrangement's .xml: https://www.dropbox.com/s/arrwi04wmwtsndx/PART%20REAL_GUITAR_22_RS2.xml?dl=0 Deleting the entire arpeggio and re-charting it did not work. Some backround: This project is nearly a year old, and used to work perfectly until I decided to swap in a new .ogg, which somehow led to a shifting of the entire beatmap - requiring EVERYTHING to be synced all over again. I received this error when trying to save it after the re-sync. And help/advice would be much appreciated! Thanks in advance...
  13. You first need to add the capo in EoF, as @@raynebc described (then save of course). I'm assuming you've already done this? From there you need to make sure that the Toolkit is using the correct/updated .xml. You may have to remove the existing one from the toolkit and then browse for the updated one manually. Once added into the toolkit, it should say (capo 2nd fret) in the list of arrangements.
  14. Also, by importing the package of an unknown CDLC, you'll be able to see the artist/song name, etc. You can simply delete the folder containing the unpacked contents once you've regenerated the package.
  15. It's actually really easy. You'll just need to select "import package" using the toolkit, change any of the desired information and then click generate and place the .psarc in your dlc folder. Just make sure you either remove the original CDLC from your dlc folder, or change the name in the DLC Name box before generating the package. This way, the old and new .psarc files won't conflict with each other
  16. I can start working on the guitars for Sea and Sand, and if I do any of the Bass, I can have Aludog review/fix it.
  17. As far as I can tell, your problem boils down to one of 3 possible causes: 1. you didn't check the "adjust notes" box when changing your BPM. This would cause the notes to not self adjust to the new BPM you've chosen 2. Your beat map has an incorrect sync or different time signature than the tab you're using. Are your notes still grid snapped on the beats all the way until the end? If not, you may want to import the GP file again and then follow #1 when adjusting the "faster" BPM toward the end. 3. Your tab is wrong. Sometimes tabs will incorrectly have extra measures or an extra repeat or two. When playing the song back in EoF, do the notes/beats arrive to soon, or too late? If your beatmap is correct, then it's your tab. It may mean you'll have to cut/copy/paste in certain areas to fix it.
  18. That's not necessarily what it means. I'm glad it worked in your case, but what you've described may not work for everyone, as there are MANY different causes for the issue of RS freezing after tuning. There's dozens of threads on this help forum dedicated to helping users fix this problem. My suggestion to anyone whose RS game freezes after tuning would be to start with reading the tutorials on the topic IN FULL, and then if required, using the search function within the Help subforum to find the many threads already devoted to this.
  19. There's definitely not enough information in your post to determine what the problem is. It could be any number of things, really. Is the beatmap in EoF out of sync with the music, or are the notes just wrong all together? Or both? Are you using the same time signature in EoF as the GP file uses? The more detailed you can be about "all the steps" you followed, the easier it will be for us to help.
  20. @@Bavarezkrd Great! Just send it over in a .txt format if you like. It looks like I'll be able to finish this either today or tomorrow, barring any major setbacks. I'll keep checking back to that tab site to see when it comes back up. Usually those fansites are great for accurate tabs. I'm really excited to play this one, since it's one of my favorite songs period. Thanks for all your help!
  21. Just saw your new post - I'll have a look at the bass and see how accurate that GP file is.
  22. I guess a Guitar Pro file would be the easiest. Just make sure you make it in 12/8 time so that it imports nicely into EoF :) I've found a pretty decent looking GP file here: http://tabs.ultimate-guitar.com/w/who/love_reign_oer_me_guitar_pro.htm The bass part "seems" accurate, but I'm not sure about a few parts so it wouldn't hurt to have a second opinion from someone who has the multitracks :) .
  23. I'm actually starting work on the sync and guitar arrangement(s) for Love, Reign O'er Me now. If someone would like to have a crack at the bass part when I'm nearly done(*cough* Aludog *cough* :) ), just let me know. Otherwise, I may try and chart the bass myself.
  24. @@Aludog that's unfortunate about the tabs. I've just found the same incomplete .ptb tabs for part 1 that you probably have. Here they are if anyone wants to have a look. https://www.dropbox.com/sh/99c2n8uf91mchxk/AABN7j6fVX6Vtt9w7S74Y0lSa?dl=0 It'd probably take me years to transcribe part 2 at my current rate :) I do hope someone is able to help with it, though I'm sure it'd still be quite fun as bass only.
  25. I can honestly say that I've never heard this until now. The first listen is blowing my mind... and I'm only about halfway through part 2. And this is me listening to it completely sober :) It seems like part 2 has more consistent guitar parts, and by that I mean that they're not as sporadic as in part 1. Am I right? By this logic, part 2 might be a better "fit" for Rocksmith. I'd be willing to take a stab at the guitar arrangement for part 2 once you have it synced up. As long as the tabs are fairly accurate, it'd be do-able.
