  1. Yeah this seems to be a new problem that arose since I uploaded that file, with that one I only had the caching issue. I don't know what's going on now. Also I''ve never had a problem before when I ignored those prompts. I'll upload the more recent version so you can see.
  2. No matter what I do, the game freezes on the amps + wall whenever I try to generate it with DDC.
  3. I think it can still happen if the charter incorrectly names the tone, so it doesn't match up with what's in EoF.
  4. I wish there was a way to skip the long intro/splash screen on RS2014. When I'm testing customs it's so annoying having to wait through that whole sequence....plus it's ridiculously loud if I already have my receiver set to my normal RS playing volume.
  5. Yeah, I always post a comment when I update my songs. :) Only thing that sucks is I don't get notifications when people comment, unless I follow my own CDLC thread....but then I get 2 notifications every time: "sinwin replied to Kuso Breakin' Nou Breakin' LilyToday, 02:53 AM" "sinwin posted a comment on Kuso Breakin' Nou Breakin' LilyToday, 02:53 AM"
  6. I'm having an issue with a song that's about 2 minutes long. Whenever I add sections, when to I go into RR and turn up the difficulty, it freezes the game. I had to go in and delete all the sections. Here's everything you could possibly need (project folder): http://www.mediafire.com/download/lmo29bd22uv3y8y/Joe+Satriani+-+Brother+John.zip Here's a request: Would it be possible to add a feature/option to DDC to add sections in the same places where it creates phrases? They always seem to be in the perfect place for RR, and it would help the new folks charting who're intimidated by the whole phrase/section thing (and lazy people like me) since it would make adding RR support a snap.
  7. If it's an Ibanez Edge trem, I'd leave it alone. I have one and it's super stable, all the time.
  8. Thanks a bunch again! I was able to fix the issue with your directions, and now it works perfectly. :) http://customsforge.com/page/customsforge_rs_2014_cdlc.html/_/pc-enabled-rs-2014-cdlc/sweet-vanilla-r4458
  9. Thanks! Is there a way to change the fingerings of all the A chords at once?
  10. Yep, that brought the chord box back. Will giving all the A chords the same fingering fix it for now?
  11. Something else to consider, in the case of groups with a single guitarist, is that the live version of a song allows you to learn how the guitarist himself would choose to arrange the guitar parts, free of overdubs. As a matter of fact, when I chart a song, I try to pick all the best/most prominent guitar parts and distill them down to what I think the guitarist would play live. I had to do that with Computer Blue, as a matter of fact, cos that song has overdubs all over the place.....but that just means there's always something to do! :D
  12. L'Arc~en~Ciel is a workout AND fun to play. (more self promotion) Check out Secret Signs: http://customsforge.com/page/customsforge_rs_2014_cdlc.html/_/pc-enabled-rs-2014-cdlc/larcenciel-secret-signs-r2513 of if you want something hard, try Blurry Eyes: http://customsforge.com/page/customsforge_rs_2014_cdlc.html/_/pc-enabled-rs-2014-cdlc/blurry-eyes-r2299
  13. Here's a video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9jsOfbtpJvA It's around 25 seconds, you can see both. Also notice that it shows the fingering for the A chord 2 times in a row, which also seemed odd to me.
  14. Hahahaha thanks man, I should realize when I say stuff that I should provide more context. I meant in EoF when charting. It seems to only want to bend downward.
  15. This. I played the "rocksmith" way for a week before I figured out I didn't have to, then I had to readjust again. Took another week! LOL
  16. It's so weird.....I've never had a problem with save files....and I have a ridiculous number of customs. Then again, like the fellow above said, I do my "serious" playing on the 360 and just use the PC version for customs.
  17. Typically you'd never find a tab for a live version of something anyway, and if there is one, it's because it was something special. I would like to hear someone sincerely say that the Joe Satriani's Memories is better on Not of This Earth than the live version is on Dreaming #11, for example.
  18. You know... in Pale Blue Eyes, everytime it he sings the word "blue" the lights in the background turn blue. Or it seems that way. That's why asked. I wanted to do some fancy purple stuff with my Prince song (though blue would be funny too).
  19. Is it user editable/worth messing with?
  20. Oh that's why I gave you the psarc. I can do it when I get home, sure.
  21. I made a thread the other day asking what showlights was, but it never got any replies. I'm guessing that it's cos I asked some other questions that were probably pretty dumb, in hindsight. Maybe they didn't want to point out what an idiot I must be. ;)
  22. How the heck do you set bend direction? I've been wondering that since I started.
  23. When you select notes, you can use Simplify Chords to for instance turn a three finger chord into a two finger chord. I know it works well that way, I have no experience with that feature when it comes to barre chords though. Paste from can be used if you're creating difficulty levels by hand: you do the full song in "Amazing", then you click on the next lower difficulty and use "Paste from" to copy all the notes from Amazing. Then you can thin it out, go to the next lower level and use "Paste from" to copy everything from the second highest level and so on. Great for gradually decreasing the amount of notes or the complexity of chords. Awesome, thanks!
