  1. I can't get the 22nd fret notes to register, no matter what I've tried so far..
  2. For the slide trills, I just strum the note changes throughout, if that makes sense. Seems to register most of the time for me.
  3. Interesting song choices this week. I had not heard any of these songs, yet all of them are fun to play. Intervals is crazy. Figured I'd give em all a shot this week.
  4. Really fun song to play. The solos are fast, but not completely ridiculous like Lucretia.. If I can figure out how to hit the 22nd fret notes, I might be able to beat it on ScoreAttack..
  5. Got a little better on this one. I do appreciate the competition, @MaZtoR
  6. Mastodon is one of my favorites. Worked on this one for a little bit today
  7. So I totally just lied. I felt like I was really close.. I was
  8. Ugh.. I can't get to 97%... I'm out of steam for tonight. Not sure if I'll give it another go. My finger/picking coordination needs a little work. I get sloppy in parts.
  9. Spent a little bit of time in RR on this one. Definitely have room to improve..
  10. This song made me practice better. Spent a lot of time in RR trying to not completely mangle the solo. Definitely need the headphones to play this one, for the tuning difference. This cover might be a little over the top, but I did enjoy playing it.
  11. Can't really get into this song that isn't very rhythmic. Kinda fun to play though.
  12. I think 100% is possible, but those bends get tricky. I just shaved my beard for Halloween so I could be Jack Black in School of Rock. I've already started it back. So in the interests of Movember, I turned the clock back for Boston. Brad Delp had an epic stache.
  13. Here's my first attempt for the week. I like this Stones song
  14. Pretty fun to play. Just get tripped up on a couple of notes.
  15. Thought this song might be just a smidge too fast for me. But after warming up on some Metallica, I gave it another shot. I feel like I improved my lower fret finger efficiency.. if that makes any sense. First couple of times I played this song, I couldn't make it through the first part without tiring out.. But I got lucky with some random fret grabbing on a couple of spots. Not sure I can do any better...
  16. Ok. That didn't take as long as I thought it would. Just a couple of RR sessions...
  17. Played through this one a couple of times. I don't really care for the vocals, but it's got some fun guitar work. I think I can do better.
  18. Do you have to win the Intermediate division 3 weeks in a row to advance up with scores over 97%? Anyway, I played both Intermediate and Advanced this week. I've been playing all my Tom Petty songs ever since I heard the news. RIP
  19. First attempt of the week. I haven't heard these guys in a looong time
  20. What I love the most about Rocksmith is that it gets you past the "Suck phase". Pretty much everyone sucks when they start playing. Rocksmith gives you the rest of the band where you can keep playing and it doesn't sound like cats being murdered. The game never gets old for me and I keep playing pretty much every day. But, that can also be a crutch that is tough to get rid of as well. Make sure that you can hear yourself play like the others have mentioned. And just practice, practice, practice. I think Rocksmith has some decent tools that will help with music theory, like the scale games and session mode. Just keep at it is really the only piece of advice..
  21. Here's the first attempt for this week:
  22. Wow.. I played this song more than any other Championship song.. I didn't think I would get there because the stupid harmonics wouldn't register. Thanks to @@macjm for the tip on the tremolo. That was the only thing I was missing.
  23. Here's the initial attempt. I might try to get 100% on this one. Doesn't seem too difficult
  24. This is the hardest Intermediate song I've seen yet...
