  1. This time I just forgot to press the screenshot button.
  2. Even more pinky chords (5.5) Just like RHCP, but better. (8) Also, don't get misled by my low scores, I've been celebrating a bit too hard. I'll redo most of these.
  3. Alcohol fueled sight reads: No comment (2). Pinky chords. (5) I pushed the enter key accidentally before making the screenshot and had to redo. The first score was 85. The second listen didn't make me like the song more. I guess it'll get a lot more chances to grow on me until next week. (8.5)
  4. Yay, hat trick! Sadly, the gog arrangement is above my level. But since rocksmith tells me my score 'could be better', I'm gonna keep practicing this even after the week is over. I've been looking for a long-term-challange song in E standard that I won't get bored with too fast, and this seems like it. While I'm aware that probably nobody cares, I'm gonna post a score for this every now and then with my progress.
  5. Yeah, judging by the relies it might be not as common as I though. Disagree. The only difficulty here is right hand stamina, and even that is only a factor if you don't use a pick. Yes, you did. I didn't change the rating on that one.
  6. Not a problem, some people on here do that already.
  7. Most of these need a redo, I'm not at my best today.
  8. You guys mean the octaves? Aren't octaves like bass playing 101?
  9. You should add more requests, that's a cool song.
  10. Yeah, the trade-off was def worth it. Except the fact that I learned I'm getting too old for moshpits - that one hurts me. I'm gonna have to get a gym membership or something now and it sucks. PS. Still waiting on you clearing lead & rhythm.
  11. Notes: 1. The selection was done by rng, don't blame me on that. 2. The diff ratings are mine, you are more than encouraged to dispute them if you disagree. Early in the week we can make some changes. 3. Make sure you add some recommendations to the Selection List. Try to be sensible with the ratings if you can, but bad ratings are better than no submission. 4. Have fun!

  13. Yeah, they where super-precise, even with those damned arpeggios. I didn't notice a single mistake. The only downside is I lost two evenings of practice, one for the show and one for the hangover.
  14. Instead of grinding out the score for the Opeth song I went to see them live yesterday (as in Friday)! Quick review: The show was great, the sound was great, and I had a great time. This was the second time I've seen them and both times they did deliver (deliverance as the final song). I'd recommend seeing them to anyone, including my parents (60+) who actually went and also had a great time (it was their first metal concert). EDIT: The supporting band Vintage Cravan was also great. I checked out a bit of their stuff on youtube before going and was kinda skeptical, but it turns out their live show really impressed me. If your in for an energetic vintage rock show experience, that's the band to see.
