Sorry I cant help with original question but live musicians sometimes pause between sets to change guitar/tune up even have a drink. So RS is only being true to the calling of playing guitar
-
Trying to use RS on a second laptop but the internal graphics card is not up to the job. Anyone use an external card and/or recommendations Thanks

If you know enough about computers to be able to register on a forum and post a topic then using CDLC will be a doddle :-)

IT solution is to give your computer a reboot and see if it sorts it out :-)

No way it sounds well, since dammed windows 10
adyscoot replied to jasnow's question in Rocksmith Remastered

After having problems with my pc I had to reload my CDLC from a backup but have found some songs I downloaded not there. Is there a way to go into my collections on this site and hit "download all" as I don't want to go through over 900 pages clicking everyone in my collection to se if its missing ?
-
Thanks for that. I have not used Song manager but downloaded it and was able to change the file in question to enable. So normal service can resume :-)

On opening my DLC folder i noticed that one of the artists I have quite a few CDLC of that the file names have changed to disabled. Is this my PC playing games or have the DLC's from this artist been locked for "Legal" reasons

There seems to be an influx of great CDLC posted lately. So a blanket THANK YOU for all the creaters who keep me coming back for more

Any way to disable pre-song tunings?
adyscoot replied to facepoppies's question in Rocksmith Remastered
Can you not run the tuning pedal between the guitar and rocksmith  -
Need someone to write notes and chords from a song
adyscoot replied to Wongbak's topic in Music Discussion
If it is a widely recognised song then there are plenty of sites on the web already dedicated using a system called TAB there are also other sites that allow you to play the song and it will display the chords as they change for you. -
Stir it up by Bob Marley is a good easy one

I find learning staticly from books or Tabs dificult but to be able create a CDLC with just a bass tab and the ability to slow it down and set dynamic difficulty should help me learn the piece and eventually ween myself off Rocksmith and be able to play in a real format (If you know what i mean). There are soo many great books and online tabs for learning that now I can copy and save into notepad then start the process of creating a CDLC to aid my learning thanks again
-
Thanks I'm like a dog with two dangles now. Finally I can create a song I want to learn as a CDLC
-
If I have a Tab file in text format is there a way to convert it in order for me to import it into guitar pro or is this a none starter
-
Are you actually reading the chart?
adyscoot replied to Atelophobia's question in Rocksmith Remastered
A ton of practice does help. I like to choose 1 song to learn, get the basics through riff repeater then before I have memorized it I search a couple of sites for the TAB to find a consensus on the correct one then compare that to the CDLC one if they match great I play and build up my knowledge using RS if not I use the correct TAB away from RS build up my muscle memory and play along to the original recording. My goal is to be able to play songs in a live environment away from the crutch of RS but if you are only playing for fun then plenty of practice and the note highway does get easier -
Thank you for the reply. I did not even notice the slight spelling difference  that would explain it
-
Why when using the CDLC search function does it not always find all the search criteria ? As an example if you search for Kenny Rogers it comes up with 1 result The Gambler but if you search for The Gambler there are 2 found both by Kenny Rogers but created by different people and totally different playing wise. I have also found this on a Pink Floyd track but cannot remember the track name. Is this just down to the tags people give their CDLC when they upload

Visual Mod to show Note associated with string/fret
adyscoot replied to The Fox's question in Rocksmith Remastered
I think It has been discussed before. Down to too much clutter when you start having Bb or F# as an example flying down the highway at you also to do with alogarithyms (? spelling) if I get time I will try to find the thread and post a link -
Thank you for the update at least i know its not a local issue to my pc

I have folders with in my CDLC folder for artists and when searching song manager unless I go into the specific folder and search for duplicates it seems to mis them when doing a general search. Is it just me or is this common issue
