92% first try

Interesting mix this week!

Saw someone mentioned it earlier but Shawdowplay is a great beginner song. Hadn't heard it before but I liked it. Guess I have to add Joy Division to the long list of bands I've been sleeping on!

Not gonna lie, when I saw the artist name I was expecting some Norwegian Black Metal, think it was the Ø haha. Safe to say I was taken by surprise when playing, not really my thing but had a fun little lead run

Used to be obsessed with Metallica back in the day but this was a song that I had heard maybe once before; the slide riff section definitely rang a bell. Managed to get through score attack without any strikes by the skin of my teeth, fun song to play!

Now this was a test of endurance. The palm muting string skipping section was crazy, definitely would've needed a couple of cracks in order to get my head around it. Will probably come back to this one later on to see if I can get over 90% but I'm happy to submit my current score

Agreed!

Shadow Play was perfect for me, it basically took me the week to progress by steps and overcome several difficulties, great for beginner this song!

No worries, we all excell and struggle with diffferent things! What counts is that you gave it your best.  Maybe you'll have better luck with the new weeks songs !
