• "Sinister Minister" has actual bass god Victor Wooten on bass, so...good luck

These last few weeks I've managed to win Intermediate and be at least somewhat competitive in advanced, I've been flirting with the idea of stepping up and it's probably time. I want to thank everyone for this competition, it has forced me to improve as a player and I think I'm ready for that next bracket. I'll go advanced bracket from here on out.

Last week I made an oopsie and tried to re-learn the mc song using The Dave Mustaine Spider Chord(tm) technique. It was a mistake, took loads of practice time away, and I still can't get back to playing the song at full speed. Now even trying to play it normally makes my fingers confused. So I don't recommend it.

Anyway, here's some sight reads:

Played it a second time because I forgot to screenshot on the first try.

Had to check wikipedia to make sure it's not sting on vocals.

Looks very 100%-able, but then again so was last week and I didn't find the time.

Hey thanks for testing out all the songs! Temple of the Dog is of course Chris Cornell in what is IMO among the best vocal work of his entire career. Certainly some of the most soulful vocals he ever recorded.

yeah, I meant the Rx bandits song with the Sting comment. Kinda hard to mistake Cornell for anyone, except maybe Ritchie Kotzen.

Tame Impala/Kevin Parker is one of many many amazing Australian musicians, and I personally enjoy his vocals as well as the challenging bassline:
