the pirate gimick got old fast. I was already too deep before i realized I never want to hear this band again

Yes, generally this song is a riff + chord parts, but this riff part is not too easy because of the speed and slides.

Rhythm, only two:

Quite a difficult beginner, looks like 4 to me.

Bass:

This is a little harder than 3.5

This is the perfect song for the master attempt!

After seeing Dua Lipa I though.. oh man.. not pop song again ;)... however when playing it i am not listening to it, just playing LOL...

 

This week's classes results...

Lead this week not very challenging for me... maybe as I was trying bass 1st and it is nearly identical, so I needed just 2 passes to get to this point... not interesting enough though to fight for 100%.

This pop song... that's the best I could... 5 passes and very little improvement...

Bass not too challenging for me this week. Easy enough... but the same as with lead.. not interesting enough to fight for 100%...

 

few other classes.. as my classes were pretty easy this weak i have tried my best in other classes with mixed results 😉

lead - not to often I get more in lead than in rhythm 🙂

 

Sabaton rhythm.. i am getting misses here and there... easy enough in general but very cool and pleasant for the ear and fingers 🙂

 i will try to hit 100% here as i like the song and it is so worth it 🙂

the same for bass

 

in this one the only note i missed is G string on 12th after slide... in every instance 😉 i was missing it intentionally as when I was trying to play it i was missing 5, 7 or 10 consecutive notes after it, so I just sacrificed this note completely 🙂

 

well.. cannot get above 99%... there is one bridge i cannot get through without miss... and i think we have to play it few times...

Hey, this is the first time I've tried to do this. I did the Lead path for Sabaton. Definitely have some work ahead of me if I wanted to get a lot better at it but I'm pretty happy considering I've never heard the song prior to trying it out here.

This was difficult had to do the fast part with finger picking to get top speed.

I gave Night Witches a try on bass, it's been a few weeks since I picked it up (trying to get way less crappy at guitar) and it felt really good to play even though it was on the easy side.

My dumb PC took 8 years to capture the image and just managed to catch the ghost of my stats screen.

I never actually got much into Sabaton through the years (I acknowledge they sound awesome and there's literally no reason I can think of that I wouldn't like them, it just never stuck) but I am very much looking forward to seeing them live this November with Judas Priest. Their shows seem really well done and I have some friends that have seen them and say they're amazing live.
