Hello, i have uploaded a CDLC a few days ago but found some more errors in the guitar tab afterwards. Now i want to update the download link with a new one but i can't find the option to do so. Can someone help? Thanks

I recently discovered that there is a lot of Coheed and Cambria CDLC, which is fantastic, but unfortunately, all the CDLC by Killroy26(which is like 80% of it) isn't available anymore. Is anyone able to share them with me?

Hi, it happens that when I try to install the program an alert window shows up and cancel the installation. I downloaded the latest version and every time i try to install an error pops up that says: "There is a problem with this Windows Installer package. A porogram run as part of the setup did not finish as expected. Contact your support personnel or package vendor." I don't know if it's because of a windows process or somethig like that, I tried to install without having any window open but it doesn´t work.

I recently made A new CDLC chart and tried to upload it here yet when i save it i get this message: I know the the song is definitely not ODLC so i'm confused as to why this is happening or how to sort it out. I'd appreciate any help on the issue.

I love ignition, it is easy to use and find the music im looking for ! but it is way more than just that, it allows me to find new songs and artist that elsewhere i would have never heard of ! the only problem is when i do browse at random for artist i have never heard of i would have to look up each artist to see if i would be interested :/ i propose you add the ability to browse songs by " Genre " it would give me an idea of the new artist i would love to hear and download songs from!!

Hey guys, So I've been working on my first CDLC and every chord has an error where the strings that aren't used are showing up within the chord in game and making everything look glitchy and not register note detection properly. Here's a screenshot of said issue: https://i.imgur.com/RUXOmPl.jpg I am running the most recent version of EOF with the Hotfix I came across a thread from last year that said it's related to open notes in chords and the final comment said to replace the chordshapes.xml, I tried redownloading the EOF hotfix and replacing my files again with that version but the problem still occurs. I had defined handshapes for 3 chords within the Guitar Pro file that I made, but one chord on the Lead arrangement only had the handshape added in EOF. Could that have anything to do with it? How do I solve this problem?

Hello guys. I like to do CDLC for bass guitar. I have my YouTube channel and I made a video in which you can leave requests to create CDLCs. I can also do for vocals and electric guitars, but I can not test them normally, because I do not have an electric guitar. For example, I'm trying to play American Idiot by Green Day. I downloaded the CDLC and put it in the correct folder. Something like 90% of my CDLC is working, just some of the songs are still locked. What should I do?

Heya all! So i've been into making CDLC for RS14 for quite some time now and I made a few of them by now. But what all of them had in common is the lack of their own tone. I cant seem to be able to find or make a correct custom tone to go with the CDLC that im making, so my songs are usually just sitting in my project folder as im stuck with giving them the correct tone for the song. Sure there is a Tone Request forum section but that hasn't been used in a while with any replies that tell you what tone you're supposed to use. Is there a way most of you amazing CDLC creators use to create the custom tone for the song? Do you somehow find the gear used by the guitarist at the time of the recording? Does it just come down to "have an ear for it"? Because currently I can not tell Overdrive from Distortion etc. Any educational answers would be highly appreciative. <3

Hi, So, I've recently updated Rocksmith, and no longer have access to CDLC songs I previously had access to. I've already redownloaded the .dll file, double checked to see that I bought Cherub Rock (I did), and am running it off steam. Furthermore, I've made sure that all my CDLC is in the DLC folder. Can somebody please tell me what I'm doing wrong? Thanks!

can someone pls tell me why some songs can be download, and others it just takes you to the official site, i mean why keep them there. rush- tom sayer, is one . and its not on rocksmith.

hello i have just got the cdlc i wanted , but when i play it, seems to be on very high difficulty, too fast . i have turned dynamic difficulty off . but it hasnt made any differnce, any ideas could help me.

Hi all, I'm still working in parallel on different CDLCs and feel like I learn a bit more every time, not only on CDLC creation, but also guitar playing (learning how things work makes me realize lots of things) Last time, firekorn gave me precious advices, and I wonder if someone would be kind enough to test my latest upload and give me some more. Here is the link (Familiar Taste Of Poison by Halestorm) A few things: As I wrote in the description, the Bonus track is just for fun, that's the vocal part I wrote to sync the lyrics. I know it's a bit weird, but I kinda like to play it, even if it's definitely not meant to be played on guitarI wonder if it would work singing it on a microphone [of course using the same octave] Probably not, or at least it would be far from perfect as it's not been designed to Bass is in Drop C... That's super low, but I'm confident it's how it's supposed to be played, and the sources usually agrees with itOn the Lead part, I switch between the arpeggio (which represents 90% of the song to be honest) and the riffs. I just don't want to leave this track almost blankIt's the first time I've added phrases in a DLC, comments on this specific topic are super welcomeI know there's already this song in the database, but I think my version is so different it deserves its placeFor some reason, that song gives me goosebumps, so I'll be grateful if you can help me improving it, it's quite simple but I really enjoy it

Hey guys, I've made my first custom dlc ever yesterday, I spent about 8 hours non stop tabbing it out note by note due to the fact no one had written the guitar solo into the tabs. I followed the youtube tutorial on here: and successfully made a working dlc. Or so I thought. I was testing it out to make sure it worked before uploading and the ending solo is missing. The song continues but it just ends right before it starts. Now like I said, I tabbed the entire song out personally. Each note synched to the song, it took ages. In Editor on Fire the notes are there, but not in rocksmith 2014. Obviously I'm a little confused as to why the song ends. Has this happened to anyone else, and does anyone have a fix for this? Cheers guys. *Also, sorry I'm just making a new topic, I wasn't entirely sure where to post this.*

Hello, so there is an old cdlc I have from this site... My chemical Romance - The Ghost of you. And the custom is made rather bad and has a lot of issues. But I use it for playalong quite often. I wanted to play it in Master Mode but its so badly synced that it is impossible to get no mistakes in Guitarcade. And in Learn a song the file seems too old and it's not possible to switch off the notes in Riff Repeater. Is there a way to tweak/manipulate the file so that Rocksmith thinks I got gold/zero Xs in Guitarcade? Thank you very much.

I can understand that it seems like everyone has this issue, but mine is very peculiar. I've done what every thread on the first five pages of Google have suggested me to do, and yet, I still get stuck at the screen after tuning. I've tried multiple D3DX9_42.dll files, even while trying to put them in the root and dlc folders, but nothing has worked. The weird thing is, I've gotten it to work before. I recently performed a fresh Windows install on my computer, as a result of multiple malicious programs eating up my RAM. Now that I've reinstalled however, nothing seems to be working.

Sorry I'm not sure if this is the right category for this to be in but I don't see a specific topic about song requests. I was looking to get some Blue Oyster Cult songs for my CDLC collection, primarily the song off of the album "Imaginos". Sadly it seems that nobody has made any of this album into CDLC, which is a shame because the whole album is amazing. If anyone is up to making these songs into CDLC that would be awesome. Thanks!

I want to add To Live is To Die into my song library and i am trying to open the rocksmith custom song toolkit to change the app id and it just wont open. Is there any other way to change the app id another way? please help thank you -

Hi gang, Sorry, I suppose that topic has already been discussed but I wasn't able to find anything. I was just thinking it would be quite useful if we were able to check the overall quality of DLCs by having a rating system. Maybe using different criteria, fidelity to the original track, tuning, audio quality, etc. + overall Another thing in the same idea could be difficulty, either selected by the CDLC maker of the community. Also, could be nice to have the information on the source used to make the CLDC (official tabs, amateur tabs on the web, personal interpretation...) And finally, I realized uploading my first CDLC that I couldn't select different tuning for the different tracks (in my case, guitar is in D standard and Bass in Drop D) it's just a detail, but well, won't hurt mentioning it :) Have a nice day \o/

Hi everyone! I'm making CDLC for bass part. In .gtp file this part is made for 5-string bass, so for Rocksmith bass I have to make custom tuning C-A-D-G. When I import .xml file in Rocksmith Custom Toolkit I get this: And what I don't understand at all: Ingame when I start the song it checks the tuning as I supposed C-A-D-G, but afterwards not starting the 'highway' the game crashes. How can I correct all this?

A few months ago rocksmith stopped recognizing ALL of my CDLC. I reinstalled 2x. had steam verify integrity of files 2x. re-downloaded the D3X9_42.DLL file. nothing worked. I made the accidental discovery that the game only sees them if I start from the rocksmith.exe file located INSIDE the rocksmith folder. starting from steam library or a desktop shortcut does not work. If anyone knows why I am curious. I hope this helps somebody out there.

I recently reinstalled RS 2014 and had around 20 cdlcs installed and now none of them are showing up. They were all working before I reinstalled RS and now they don't appear in my library. I have Cherub Rock and the correct dll file but only songs that come with the game appear.

Hi! I'm new here and new to CDLC for Rocksmith. I got the d3dx9_42.dll and the cherub rock dlc and got some cdlc songs to play, but there's a huge problem. I open one of the cdlc songs and it takes me to the tuner, and then once I'm done tuning the game is stuck at the wall and two speakers, but the game doesn't progress and I don't get any menus or navigation or anything, and I have to restart the game because of this. I tried looking for 3 separate versions of the dll and all 3 have failed. Is there anything else I could possibly be doing wrong? Please help! Thank you!
