  1. For me the mc lead is a solid 9, maybe more (and I'd already played the song during one selection). I like the song. I didn't understand pretty anything and I RR a lot the main riff, getting without errors at max 70% I don't know how a person could play it with such speed and precision, one of the most difficult this year without a big solo, but everything is so tight. Technique must be perfect My hands were smoking at the end
  2. Just a little detail, but title of the post reports 487 instead of 488 @ Mikson
  3. wow I liked this one, simple but effective. Modern Sabbath
  4. I don't have the score yet but 10 for Iron Maiden rhythm seems really too much, because it's easier than lead (it has only one of the two solos, and the easiest imho). More like a 8.5 if we consider lead a 9
  5. I've never heard this one from Iron maiden, because maybe I've stopped after the wicker man At first it reminded me "Fear of the Dark" a lot!
  6. Hi, SA score are read by the automated system, but sometimes OCR isn't complete or the download of the image failed so we need to manually approve the scores. Hence the delay (and there is also some delay on auto approved scores, because the flow at the moment runs at different hours of the day). We will also look into your score to find out why it doesn't appear
  7. rhythm for completeness I like the song but I really missed this playing style (like from 15 years ago to now ) and I have an hard time to do the riff properly, it just doesn't click
  8. @ Rodman mmh I think the application will not like them so much Enjoy the sun and the snow!! (btw I'm updating the scores now, if your double scores don't break the app :P) in the meantime, some improvements (but competition is high!)
  9. great week @ Rodman nice song, never heard them (Rocksmith is generous with detection on these types of songs) they are always funny, I missed this little gem by them super 80s vibes from Motley. I appreciate the simplicity and the straightforwardness, a lot of energy and the fun of playing
  10. without a red cross and over 94 (with the return of the red cross )
  11. Great song, the first In Flames. I remember when I was 16 and I brought to my teacher December Flower from the same album to teach me how to play it! Anyway the In Flames period I prefer at all is Clayman album (2000), both powerful and more melodic than the first ones. probably my final score but I think something more is achievable
  12. yay don't really have the time or the energy for the solo unfortunately, so red cross I don't know if I can get higher without the solo, the rest aren't big misses we are testing the new prototype of automatic score recognition (remember the OCR idea??). All the scores you see in the sheet were entered with that! We have planned to support also the classic manual entering. I'll leave more details to @ Rodman
  13. A7x remains one of my favorite band post 2000. I missed the Gojira/djent train
  14. I have a lot of scores from testing that I need to collect and upload In the meantime I did another run of Moonshield. Maybe 8 is too much, but that was the original rating. Anyway I always loved this song (but I chose it not by the liking, but because it was one of the few with a MC rhythm rating and an adv lead, so suitable for this case)
  15. This week is over, thank you for competing!!
  16. With a pinch of improvisation here's the new week! As usual I combined the randomness with the completeness of tracks in paths (to have fewer songs), the quality and the presence of different music styles and selectors, not giving everything to get difficult songs for every path. So it's a pretty easy week (and an unfortunate mix of tunings, sorry) but if you do 100% with a breeze, you can always try the song on the next level! As always, we can change on course anything doesn't work (errors, songs, missing scores..) Some notes: Some tones are unbalanced inside the songs but nothing major Rammstein has roughly the same lead and rhythm, and not so challenging for intermediate (a good riff anyway), so I thought it was a good thing to put a different more challenging rhythm, and I choose the one from the Avenged Sevenfold (=A7x). My other selection was Scumbag by Green Day, also pretty easy. The A7x "Coming Home" rhythm and Gojira rhythm have the same rating, but I think that Gojira is less classic in the playing style so I preferred to keep it on the advanced rhythm. Also, curiously, Gojira was selected by two people (!) The A7x has a good and I think equally difficult alternate track. I think that's also more funny to play, but I want to hear from you if a switch between the tracks it's worth it Fascination has the no-guitar and the no-bass track, and it's a blessing when there is one because as you know it's really only you playing the instrument when you don't have the track under Moonshield came to rescue for MC rhythm, so guitar MC has a pretty challenging week if you combine the two tracks. I don't know if you bassist prefer to have something more challenging on MC, please let me know!

  19. I liked it The Black Keys are love or hate for me, but I liked this one! Obviously even fast pentatonic section are too much for my sightreading
  20. I don't think I can squeeze much more on this, between the tricky parts of the solo and some unexplicable misses on the palm muted open E string
