  1. my best shot after practicing the parts, deciding to stick on rhythm
the speed in some parts of this song is unbelievable. Can't imagine doing it with max control on a stage.
As @Miksonsaid, this is madness 😄

    masterclass rhythm

    ?imw=5000&imh=5000&ima=fit&impolicy=Lett

    masterclass lead

Sightreading the solo didn't go very well 😄

    ?imw=5000&imh=5000&ima=fit&impolicy=Lett

But I really like the song now.. to be honest at first it seems like noise (and I'm used to metal but not so much to old thrash)

Think of it this way: struggling on a harder song now will make all songs easier in the future. At least that's what I'm seeing in my playing.

Totally agree. I'm doing the championship for that: practicing and improving having fun in the meantime (avoiding to do too much soulless exercises). So i don't mind, I was just a bit shocked 😛

After RR'ing it a bit I have to agree, it definitely goes out of sync. It went foo fast for me to notice during testing, sorry. Should we replace it then? With something easier?

Yes it happens in RR (which I use for learning). For example, when the verse starts (with that 3 3 3 3 ...) the very first iteration is off at the end (it's very noticeable if you RR on 75%)
But that's not a big issue for me because it's not a song with tricky tempos, it's just very fast. So for me we can keep it

Another issue I have is that I can't get this note registered in the main riff (on the 10th fret, D string, no matter how much slow I put the RR or using harmonic, artificial harmonic etc). Is there anyone that has the same problem?

Cool week, @jellisjenius - not a bad idea for a theme!
Winner´s script runs flawlessly for me - did it work out for you?

Hi Rodman, the scripts seems to not have picked up my rhythm score (advanced, sabaton, 99 and something). Is it something expected, or a bug? Maybe it's ignored when >99?

Not whining or wanting a correction, I play just for the fun and for a shared experience so I really don't care but if it's a bug maybe it can bother others in the future.

Also, the default overdrive tone on the Coheed and Cambria is too saturated only for me? Can't really distinguish single notes! But not an issue, I will use some other tones.

  4. updated rhythm for Sabaton! (I think it's a 5 or 5.5 because there is a speedy part but it's very short and the rest are power chords - can't put it at the same level of kayleigh lead)

    ?imw=5000&imh=5000&ima=fit&impolicy=Lett

and just for more fun I did also Kayleigh (beautiful clean harmonies). Confirm the 6.5 or maybe 7, because doing it perfectly means be very rapid on passing notes between chords

    ?imw=5000&imh=5000&ima=fit&impolicy=Lett

Welcome! It's nice that you joined the championship. When it comes to classes you can compete in one, but of course you can post scores from all classes songs (as you can see above, a lot of people do). We do it just for fun, because we like 😉

    @avastreg great you are here!

you will be put to MC, lead

Post all scores of any path ypu like, and when you improve make a new post!

    rock!!!

Thanks guys, yes it's absolutely for the fun of it

as a rule of thumb, is it better to update the first post with new scores instead of creating a new post, right?

  6. Hi! I'm new to the championship (not to Customsforge, I'm appreciating CLDCs for years now, but never saw the competition!)

So, I've read the rules, and missed the first week because I was trying to get better at Poppin Party - Initial (so fun song to play btw never expected it) and got out of the deadline.

This week, I want to participate in the Lead Masterclass so here's my actual score (I hope to update it with better % later in the week 😉 ).

I'm playing also Kayleigh lead, but I need to avoid posting that score right?

  7. That's really impressive!

I was using https://github.com/andulv/RSTabExplorer but this is much better. It's the definitive complement to Rocksmith, for the same reasons you wrote.

I've tried the program and it works (i'm using gpif too because i've DrTutut problem with gpx).

I've just checked Impossible Dreams because it's one of the songs I know better and it's almost perfect, also the solo (yes maybe when it's really fast it's not perfect but it's ok!).

    Keep going on!

When you think it's near to stable, you can post it to reddit to reach a greater audience for feedbacks and (why not) glory  :D
