  1. This pretty much, but if you need more options in EoF, the tone menus are under 'Track>Rocksmith>Tone Changes' 'Add' is add tone to where your line is 'List' here you can see your current tone changes, with timings and name, you can delete or seek to 'Names' here you can set the default tone (tone the song starts with) very important to do this, otherwise you get error message when saving the EoF file 'Copy from' is a new button, I think that copies the tone changes from: for example from lead to rythm arrangement Other remarks: - If you use tones imported from other CDLC (like mostly everyone does) be sure to give them an unique name in your CDLC - and offcourse the names in EoF and in the Toolkit should be exactly the same - Don't use ' _ ' in the names, maybe this is fixed but it led to some problems once
  2. Here is my channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCzBb99mjNhcq2h-IQeXtpIA Mostly Punk/Metal/Hardcore songs, but occasionally some pop stuff I also do other weird music videos
  3. I use Fraps to record, and Vegas Pro 12 to edit, then follow the Riff Repeater tutorial, (posted above), that everyone followed I guess :p
  4. #9 Death Come Cover Me is a youtube channel that does alot of metal covers
  5. #8 A Loss For Words featuring Four Year Strong!
  6. Added 21 more inlays, preview album at Imgur, and download folder at Mediafire. Do that +31 more That's a total of 99 inlays :D Enjoy!
  7. 1. Could it be possible that you add a Custom Inlay with a song CDLC? so as in 1 package? (.p_psarc) Other scenario: 2. Could it be possible that when you start a song in RS, you automatically get an assigned Custom Inlay: eg.: If you start a song by Rise Against, you get the Rise Against inlay for that one song, but when the song closes it goes back to default.
  8. >.> well, that's what I was looking for :p Here take this...
  9. You normally don't have to resnap just because you copied and pasted notes. If the notes were grid snapped when you copied them, they will automatically grid-snap appropriately during paste. The best option is to enable "Song>Highlight non grid snapped notes" so you can easily tell when notes are not grid snapped. The next hotfix will even have a new function that intelligently moves out of grid snap notes to the nearest grid snap of any built-in size (ie. any of them from 1/4 to 1/96) regardless of which grid snap size is currently active, and lets you specify how many milliseconds the function is allowed move the note so you can ensure any re-snapping is as controlled as you want it to be. That's what I had in mind, another option for the "Top of 2D pane shows" preference. 3) I believe we already went over the grid snapping thing matter :p It does indeed work like that, as it should. No worries there. It's just I can still make it fail :p I'll try to record an example this week where I 'reproduce' the problem. (it's probably just me doing things in the wrong order or something) I'll try to explain in text form: When I make a CDLC from text tab, I first correct the BMP map, so I figure out the average BPM and set it to that. Then I go over the whole song and make little corrections every 1 or 2 measures, eg: average BPM at start 175, next measure 175,5, next 175,2, next 175,7,.... (Add sections) Then create the tab, but then when you finish chorus 1 for example, and you copy and paste that to chorus 2. (Also you can't never paste it at just the right snap, so you always have to drag it along for a bit. I try to paste as close as possible to avoid BMP mistakes things) But this chorus has different BMP variations so: now that shouldn't be a problem because of the good grid snap as you mention, but because I drag the first note to the first beat of the chorus, everything shifts equally, so everything goes off grid. So my mistake is probably pasting it wrong (because I shouldn't be dragging stuff)? but is there any other way? 4) awesome ^^
  10. You can use 1/12, 1/24, 1/48, 1/96 to achieve grid snap intervals equal to 1/3 beat, 1/3 half-beat, 1/3 quarter beat and 1/3 eighth beat. I can add this.3) About the triplets, I think I get what Xaphist means. When you make most songs, you just put 1/16 or 1/32, but sometimes the song uses 1/12 (triplets I believe) just for one measure (or one place in a certain riff). This is really annoying, because most of the time when I have to copy/paste or make the tab from text tabs, I Ctrl+A to select all and then Resnap them to a 1/16 grid snap when I'm done, to ensure everything is snapped, but then offcourse that one measure with 1/12 notes gets fucked up. 4) Would it be usefull to show the selected tone, right above the tab? like where the sections are? EDIT: 2) You can zoom in on the tab with just + and - but I'm not sure if that's what you mean Raynebc already mentions this
  11. I tried looking for some lyrics files when I first started making CDLC, but then quickly realized there aren't many (good) lyric files online. (at least not for the songs I was making) so just like many people, I believe, went straight to pasting lyric text into ultrastar
  12. #7 Catchy pop punk for this video, metalcore in the other version
  13. #6 this one worked out really well, their is also another version, you can go check that out at my channel
  14. #3 catchy pop punk https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZUmV1INrCOo
  15. Frack made this one, some time ago, I think that format is outdated, you could ask Frack himself if he could update them. OR you can do this yourself, you can download the .cgm files from Frack his site, and convert them to .psarc's in the RSToolkit. Just for this one I've done it for you, *All credit goes to Frack for this one* http://www.mediafire.com/file/r9p468u0sa0w5ee/synyster_custom_s_206_v2_p.psarc
  16. Introduction: Was cleaning up some old documents and found these inlays, these were made waaaaay back where the inlay proces was still in the beginnings. Anyway it looks really easy now, the toolkit makes it into .psarc files and you can just put them in your CDLC folder. Then you can select them in game. All my inlays are always the band's logo on all the small frets and then a special/bigger logo or name at the 12th fret. You can check out examples at my youtube channel or at the preview album. Everything is free to use and edit, if you feel like supporting me and my work, you can donate at my paypal: https://www.paypal.me/MaartenVanGestel How to use Custom Inlays: 1. Download the _p.psarc file 2. Place the file in your usual CDLC folder, the one you also use for your CDLC songs 3. Start Rocksmith, go to inlay menu, select your Custom Inlay First 99 Inlays: The First 99 preview album at Imgur: http://imgur.com/a/W0A5S The First 99 download album at Mediafire with the packages for single downloads: https://www.mediafire.com/folder/64244yc4t5qwm/Inlays Or download a zip of the full collection (The First 99 inlays, only 7 MB) right here: http://www.mediafire.com/file/di78fc9vumf1585/PyroBillies_First_99_Inlays.zip/file (open the spoiler, the list would make the topic way to big otherwise, and take a look or use Ctrl+F to search for a specific band) Next 99 inlays: (59 atm) The Next 99 preview album at Imgur: https://imgur.com/a/OBEOd The First 99 download album at Mediafire with the packages for single downloads: https://www.mediafire.com/folder/z8trqt845wtlw/Next99Inlays Group downloads: (zip file with multiple inlays) Top 40 Most Requested artists in 2014 (40) - Taken from official infographic Top 40 Most Requested artists in 2014-2016 (14) (Only new ones) - Taken from official infographic Top 10 Most Played songs in RS2014 (10) - Taken from official infographic Top Custom Discographies (23) - The HOT Discographies of the Customsforge forum section, the ones with the most die-hard fans Game related inlays (24) - The most successful games ever TV related inlays (15) - The most iconic TV movies and shows ever Companies and brands (coming) Log: (17/01): Initial 17 inlays (17/01): 13 inlays added (2/03): 21 inlays added (5/03): 17 inlays added (15/03): 31 inlays added (first 99) (1/04): 26 inlays added (1/04): 18 inlays added (8/04): 19 inlays added (15/05): 15 inlays added
  17. A while back I created this: As it seems to be relativly popular, I decided to make more of these. You can find new Just Dance Audio Swaps right here: Playlist -> https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLiryHEqHQZQ0V7XyYhGXM3nOYbHhdQUwi Consider subscribing if you want to see more.
  18. Hey-Ya by the Outkast, rythm arrangement, is one of my favorite songs to teach to my friends (I put the difficulty way down so there are no chords tho) But the chords would be G-C-D-Em Or otherwise you can just jam your chords together? none rocksmith style? The most basic pop progression is G-D-Em-C, iirc
  19. So I noticed this problem a way back, but wasn't sure what it was about. Now that I've tested more, it looks like when you repair a CDLC with the CFSM repair tab, my chords in game show each individual chord instead of just showing the 'repeat this chord' lines. Maybe it's a setting or maybe it's got something to do with the DDC. Anyone else also noticed this? Here is an example in a video: https://youtu.be/rJjvr9ScXA0?t=27
  20. If anyone finds a good video guitar cover of any of the BT songs that aren't done yet, post them here or send them to me. So far I've done: Pick Your Poison Set Me On Fire Relapsing Keep Your American Dream from various videos
  21. I kinda want to try to make the 'Seven Nation Army - The Glitch Mob' remix, But the official 'seven nation army' is an official DLC so, would we be allowed to make a custom of the remixes? I heard some rules about this stuff but I'm not sure what or what is not allowed: Live versions? Covers? Remixes?
