  1. Maybe it's just me, but I had a bunch of "misses" on the E string for open and properly fretted notes until I tuned the E string ~10 cents flat. I still can't keep up on the fast bits, but my frustration level has dropped. I'm up to 86% on bass
  2. I spent some time on BOC Cities on flame bass and got up to 85% accuracy
  3. Munich beginner lead 99.14%. Does that bump me ti intermediate lead next week? Oh, those weird volume fluctuations on the guitars went away after the 2nd reboot.
  4. @@Mortalo - I know that , but you can't stop me :P .Here I go again. My guitar playing isn't good enough to to B.B. justice, but I might give it a try later on.
  5. Wellllll, time to get started on this week. With guitars on lead, there seems to be some weird intermittent volume fluctuations in the signal. I tried different cables and guitars. Here's what I have for a first hour of work on Munich. http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=444774420 I don't seem to have the same problems on bass - first pass at Chains and Things http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=444774486
  6. I just looked at the week 82 leader board. @@missis sumner 's advanced bass score got placed beside my name. I appreciate the bonus points, but i haven't even downloaded the song yet
  7. It's humour rather than music, but this is how I remember him. That and seeing him live at the Ontario Place Forum around 1981.
  8. A sad day... Here's the obituary in the NY Times
  9. I had the time to run through it once and only once in RR at 60% speed. I had half the errors that I would have had with the original version even after dozens of attempts. So it is playable for me, but I'm not a good enough musician to comment on its' fidelity to the original recording. We may have lost a lot of the nuances that were causing me troubles. And the Raptors failed big time in the first round, so I'm not watching.
  10. Downloaded, thanks. I'll give it one shot before going to bed. BTW, What time is it in Spain? 4AM??
  11. Saved again by @@albatross213 's NDD version of Little Green Bag, this time on Lead. 81.something%
  12. @@NoonyDeloony - Scars on a boy a muy macho. I have one right beside my left eye. It gets mistaken for macho until people learn that is was from bouncing on the bed while my older brother lassoed my feet with a skipping rope. I didn't know that my head had that much blood in it. Joking aside, I hope he feels better soon. @@albatross213 - Thanks for the NDD file. Now I can make my sucky score official. Little Green Bag advance bass 86.89%. I just can't get any of the accents right, and It's not a problem with the recognition engine. This song, while fun, is just beyond me. I'm going to stand pat with that score before I get any more frustrated and work on some of the easier guitar songs.
  13. Does anyone have an NDD version of Little Green Bag? I can't make it a quarter or the way through without getting the dreaded XXX
  14. Bass Path: Anoucement! We initially wanted to add new bass class, but that was probably bad idea. We are satisfied with current 4 class model, and that class (or Beg) could stay empty. But we still want 5th bass song, so let's do it this way: Each week we will have one additional song for one of the lower 3 classes. At the end of the week there will be two winners declared. And @@Rodman will add points to his leaderboard for each song (so there will be double points in that class). Let's try it that way, we'll see if it works how it should. Do you mean that the additional score is for beginner, beginner2 and intermedialte classes, or for beginner, intermediate and advanced classes?
  15. I've made slight upticks on Little Green Bag on bass, but I started from such a low score that I only just broke 80%. http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=441805862
  16. Incredible !! And I absolutely love the shape you gave it. The shape was designed by a luthier named Liutaio Mottola and he shared the plans online here. The shape is designed to balance well both sitting and standing.
  17. I finished building the $100 Challenge Bass. Here's a picture of her beside the guitar that I mentioned several posts back http://www.talkbass.com/media/siblings-1.4398/ And here's the build thread with the gory details http://www.talkbass.com/threads/100-bass-challenge-2groggys-half-moon.1144230/
  18. LIttle Green Bag on Lead after an hour of RR... Well it's a start at least http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=440305603
  19. last uptick on Rules for Fools Adv bass 93%, Streak of 399 Secret Agent Man Rhythm 85%
  20. The e-mail address is correct. Last time I checked, there was nothing from this site in the junk folder. I'll check now. Still nothing from noreply@.com in the spam folder. I found an old message in the inbox and added the contact. I'll see if that helps Thanks
  21. Before anyone mentions it, a search didn't find anything This "Email Marked as SPAM" message has been on my front page for a week or so, and I can't find out how to correct it in my webmail. Does anyone know what to do?
  22. I couldn't get an uptick on Think It Over lead yesterday, but got a big one today. I'm up to 94.02%. That might be a plateau that I can't get past in the next day and a half. That brings me to Secret Agent Man on lead. The other day, I mentioned expecting poor scores, but posting them anyways due to having no shame... 69% - Could Be Better. I just don't have the speed for that one yet. Who chose that damn song, anyways? ;) I guess that I need to play in the beginner sandbox for a while. edit - Oh, and have a good one @@MilkmanDan
  23. Let the gradual improvement begin, but this time on beginner lead. Think It Over lead - 91.43%
  24. I'm officially in the lead guitar game too, but only at the beginner level so far. Think It Over lead 89.04% (I hope that this link works... Steam is being twitchy today)
