  1. Wicked game 99.73% I think. http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=571884308 I think I'm at the level of playing Hard, but that Metallica song... meh. Not willing to invest much time in it. I'll try Daft Punk. 92.97%. I think the last time I tried it, I always got three strikes. Improvement! http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=573070903 And the blues in 8, 89.68% on first try. http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=573070817 L
  2. So here is my Zebra take: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=566168308 And the correct Bruno Mars song: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=566805225 Hopefully I can improve both before Saturday! L
  3. Hmmmm... Must be confirmation bias. I kept seeing "Locked out of heaven" and thinking, "How come nobody decided to do 'Runaway baby'?" Well now I know... L
  4. First participation ever. Runaway baby on bass. http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=566168242
  5. Hi, Yes it looks like that's the problem. I imported from a few other files and eventually I found one with guitar tones. So I probably imported from files that had bass-only arrangements. Thanks for the clarification, L
  6. I added "Pick Up The Pieces" by Average White Band. http://customsforge.com/page/customsforge_rs_2014_cdlc.html/_/pc-enabled-rs-2014-cdlc/pick-up-the-pieces-r18443 L
  7. Hi, I am trying my first song with guitar and bass. However, when I try to load a tone from another DLC in order to get a nice guitar tone, only the bass tone is imported. What am I doing wrong? L
  8. Hi, Thanks for the tip. The purpose of doing this is to ensure that when I import a GP tab, the notes are in sync with the music and I don't need to fiddle with the beat alignment after the fact. The metronome is a bit too subtle for me, whereas the claps are great. L
  9. HI, How do I change the length of a note from a quarter note to 1/8 or vice versa? I seem to remember that there was an easy way to do this but I can't, for the life of me, figure it out any more. Thanks, L
  10. Hi, Is there a way to insert a note every eight beats? I am trying to create my beatmap before I import my tab, that way everything will be in sync when I import the GP tabs. I tried creating a simple tab with a quarter note every eight measures, but when I realign that, it,s as if it's a "layer" above the base beatmap. So Im trying to recreate the same thing directly in EOF without actually putting something manually every two measures. Any ideas? Thanks, L
  11. Hi, Is there a way to export all of my hard work in EoF back to Guitar Pro? Not tempo but the notes and frets etc. L
  12. This is a somewhat old thread but I have a question along this line: can I select all notes on a fret with the same duration? I have a number of sustains that last one beat and I want to reduce them to a half beat, ideally without going back to my Guitar pro tab. I tried the other select modes and it doesn't look like it's feasible. But just in case... :) Thanks, L
  13. Hi, I'm looking at transcribing a few songs which use a double bass (or whatever it's called in English... Contrebasse in French). Can anyone recommend some good tones that I could use? Thanks, L
  14. Hi, On android, filtering the request list doesn't work well. When I click in the search box, the keyboard appears then disappears immediately. I'm pretty sure it's because of the automatic filtering as you your. It's it possible to turn off that feature? maOrke it less aggressive, like filter after typing 5 letters or something? Thanks, L
  15. Uh... most likely. :) I'll check for that when I do my next one. THanks for the clarification. L
  16. Hmm... You're right, I do see a guitar.ogg but the packager didn't allow me to load it. I only accepted .wem files, for some reason. I'll check if I need to update and I'll try again. Thanks, L
  17. Hi, I created my first CDLC here: http://customsforge.com/page/customsforge_rs_2014_cdlc.html/_/pc-enabled-rs-2014-cdlc/cadence-lypso-r17931 It,s OK, I guess, but when playing in Riff Repeater, the phrases that I put in originally are all messed up. I did them in TuxGuitar, exported to GP5 and imported. I told EoF to keep the phrases and I saw them all appear where I expected in EoF. But the final result is meh! I'd like to fix that one and I would like to do the phrases correctly for my next one. So, should I not create phrases in TuxGuitar and only do it in EoF? Or is there something I forgot to do after I imported/saved in EoF? Thanks, L
  18. Hi, What do you mean by this? I tried to look for an ogg file in all the ones that were created by my project but didn't find it; I only saw a WAV file. I ended up using the same approach that is mentioned here: http://customsforge....ots-by-darjusz/ Is there a newer tutorial that explains how to do this in a more efficient manner? Thanks, L
  19. Thanks, i just read it. I'll try this approach with my second CDLC. L
  20. Thanks. So between you comments and the beatmap tutorial, I think I'm almost there. I've complete my song, and I'm about to generate the psarc file. I'll test after that and either post it if I fell it's... err... aceptable. If not, maybe I'll need a beta tester on bass. Any takers? :P L
  21. Hi, For the record, I did read and look at videos before doing this. Yes, I chose a simple song (I think) to begin. Like I said, when I did it in GuitarTab, the BPM was almost correct. Once in a while it lagged a bit, but overall it was correct, including initial silences, etc. I will recheck, since I don't understand the silence part were I fall out of sync. Having said that, I still have a few questions: @@albatross213 How do you stretch a silence in EOF? I tried that but couldn't figure it out, but from you post it seems like it should be trivial. You may be on to something for the 160/142 thing. I tried a first attempt at importing the GP5 file, and I seem to remember that the track was much mor in sync than it is now. But since I messed things up, I deleted the track and tried re-importing it and I think that's when it sort of messed things up. I tried deleting everything in the folder (except my Mp3, GP5 and TG files) and tried to start over in the same folder but EoF refused to save data. I had to create a new folder, but it's in that new folder that I'm having the 16- vs 142 problem. Is there something that prevents EoF from editing the same file in the same folder after you've deleted all of the previous artifacts? If I want to start over, what is the proper sequence?Start EoFCreate new song with MP3 fileImport GP5 track (import time signature)Set BPM from the first note and adjust all notesTweak as neededIs there a tutorial (I prefer written to video) that I should be looking at above all else? I used: http://customsforge.com/topic/1922-how-to-make-pc-cdlcs-for-rocksmith-2014-tutorial-wscreenshots-by-darjusz/ and I just noticed this one http://customsforge.com/topic/22655-syncing-your-beat-map-with-editor-on-fire-eof/?hl=tutorial Thanks, L
  22. Ok, thanks, I'll try that. I have another question: When I created my GP5, I set the beat at 142. I timed it in TuxGuitar to see, and there are a few places where I am off-beat, but simply pausing the song to give TG a chance to catch up shows me that the beats are pretty close to the original song. However, in EoF, the beat is completely off. I import it, I tell EoF to estimate BPM (142.63 whereas I put 142 in mine) but it looks like it's around 120. I have to set the beat around 170 BPM to make it match in EoF. Is that normal or will I have a problem when I use WWIse? Thanks, L
  23. Hi, I'm sure I'm doing something wrong but... How do I adjust tempo without affecting notes before it? I tried moving the --> around but it moves the notes before it too. I tried deselecting "adjust notes" in the BPM change menu and that made it work for one beat only, which is not what I want. I would like to adust a few bars, then a few others, and so on. Is there a way to do this?IImported my tracks from GP5 (exported from TuxGuitar). In the song I'm tabbing (from the 70s) there is a spot where there is a silence, but the beat is not starting at the right location. How do I select all notes, from that location until the end, and shift them all by a half-measure or whatever I need? I know that I can use Ctral-A to select them all but I don't want to move the notes before where I am.There's more but I'll start with these two, for now. Thanks! L
  24. I started trying to enter everything in TuxGuitar (don't have GP)... yeah, after thirty minutes, 3 bars done and they don't even sound right... So lemme ask, is ther an easier way to enter notes? I don't have a MIDI keyboard, but I have a bass. Is there software that will record the notes I play and put them in a tab? L
