  1. You can see for your self,i tried to do the press the strings while play them open, not sure if you chould judge about it how i did it in the video(the stratocaster) in the other video i hope you can hear how to first 4 string are buzzing while open ,expct the B and high e,(the les paul) http://www.filedropper.com/mov0053 http://www.filedropper.com/mov0055
  2. rubbing a pencil on the nut would not have ruined it unless you damaged the channel. The graphite in a pencil just acts as a dry lube. Are you using the same guage strings that came with the guitar? Honestly i have no idea, but when i got this strat. it had 9th string on it,but i use 10th strings on this and also on the les paul and sg.I even tried the pencil again, and it just ruined on the nut more. I can guarantee you that just putting graphite on your nut would not ruin it. Even if it did you can remove the graphite. Just a thought , do you here the buzzing through an amp or just acoustically I hear it when just play it without an amp, like a normal guitar. Then you should just forget about it , it's not an issue as it's an electric guitar , if it was an acoustic it would be a different story. I'm sorry but i'm not so sure what are you talking about. I do now want to just ignore it,because it anoys me as hell. It might just be one of those guitars that always annoys , it happens. I've spent months trying to get rid of fret buzz and nothing worked except hanging it on the wall. If only the open strings whould not buzz, there whouldn't be any problem about fret buzz.

  6. Probably overtightened. You might need to heat it up (soldering iron is good) What I would do is rub a pencil in the string channel on the nut, this acts as a dry lube and sometimes removes buzz. Are you using the same string guage that came with the guitar? Don't take this the wrong way but it seems you are inexperienced in the mechanics of a guitar. Inexperience and advice on a forum can be a lethal combination and can ruin a guitar. You need to find an experienced friend who can show you first hand how to do things. I'm guessing your in school or college so it should be quite easy to find someone. I used a pencil in the nut part, and probably that ruined the nut ,also my sister's friend said,if i take my guitar to that guitarstore he knows, then they will do it for free and explain how wo do it,i know it's a great opportunity, but i can't message to my sister's friend(because i never see him on facebook) and i don't know where is that guitar store either, and i don't realy want to take it to that guitarstore where i usually go,because it's a horrible price for anything.
  7. If most of your strings buzz in the open position it is likely that the neck of your your guitar is back bowed. http://jacksinstrumentservices.com/shared/images/info/truss%20rods/tight.jpg This is fixed by loosening the truss rod ( read up about it before trying ) I know this should need to lose the trus rod,but the problem is that i can't lose it or tight it,(i think it's broken) Also i tried this at my strat. and nothing changed,so it's got to be the nut's fault.(also the first 2 string buzz when i play the open one or the frets)
  8. Did you not watch the numerous videos and/or read the tutorials that we sent to you? It might make more sense to resume things in your original thread. I'm really not trying to be rude. It's just rather frustrating that multiple people have tried to help you with this subject, in multiple threads, and it seems like you haven't taken the time to learn from the materials we've provided you. Instead you keep asking questions that are answered in the tutorials that we provided. It's not that difficult to set up a guitar, but there are several steps, that need to be done in order because they affect one another. The principles are exactly the same, no matter the type of guitar. The hardware is just slightly different. Again, I really think this tutorial will help you - http://www.samash.com/help/library/main/How_to_Set_Up_an_Electric_Guitar.html PLEASE, read through each step, starting at step # 4. If you have questions, on any of the steps, just let us know. Yes i watchd them im not so retard, bur none of them solved my problem, and i look at a lot of pages of how to set up,but then again, none of them helpd me out still,i even watchd full set up videos, but those 2 were wrong, one was still not understandible and had tools that i don't have, the other was about how to clean it,altough it had the full set up in the title.Back to the websites, the setps that in the website you just linkd it's not to so clear what to do,at the clean the nut part,i can't do the clean the alcohol part because i have small fingernails and i don't want anyone in my family do it,because the just fuck up everything, and i'm not wiiling to skip this part either, because i tryd several mods at the pickups and the bridge part at my Les Paul but after a time the result was the same, uncomfortable playing and buzzing all strings, and the problem is has to be the nut part, because it can't be any other thing that cause string buzz Do the strings buzz when played open? Of course, but some of them are buzzing when (for example) i play the 4th fret, but it also appers when i play 13th fret on the G string, also not all strings are buzzing,i think the high e is just fine.

  10. I never realy undersand it how to PROPERLY set up any guitar,by properly i mean, the string heights, pickup and trus rod adjustment and also the intonation. In my experience there is lot more difference between to set up a stratocaster and a Les Paul.
  11. So I've just finishd a GP tab,and i can't export it because, when I name the tab and hit save it immediately close the program, and when i open the exported tab (the finishd tab) it says 'there was an error when opening thr guitar pro tab'. I can only save it as a 'gpx' file, but not i can't export it as a 'gp5'. https://www.dropbox.com/s/4fss9o5pl8v5ki5/Breaking%20Benjamin%20-%20Skin%20v.1.gpx?dl=0 here is the file, maybe you'ill have anoterh result.
  12. I'm studying at high school and i'm play guitar :D
  13. That would be anything that is sold through the amazon marketplace from other people/businesses...amazon is like the middle man that takes the money from you and gives it to them when you buy something. But everything is secured by amazon so if a third party doesn't give you your item then I think amazon will refund you. I use the Canadian site but I'm assuming that all the other ones are the same. If you're late getting an item, there is an online chat that normally just takes seconds to talk to a service rep and they will help you out. And where can in contac with the seller, and how should I ?
  14. I order around $300 of stuff from Amazon every month. Very rarely ever had a problem. There was twice that an item didn't arrive. Once was from Amazon itself and once from a third party seller. Both times I sent a message to them and I received a refund within a couple days. What is a third party seller?
  15. I orderd the Faceless album from the USA and the Billy Talent III is from Canada, and i live in the center of Europe,in Hungary. Also i got e-mails,that the songbook is shipped,(the faceless album)
  16. I bought the Faceless album by Godsmack, and it didn't arrived still.I ordered at the 9th of January and there was 2 date, when will it arrive to me.The first was the 14th of February and the second was 14th of March and i still didin't got my soongbook.I even orderd the Billy Talnet III audio-cd with the guitar tabs,at 2 weeks ago,and it arrived at last wendsday, and that was from eBay.Do you have any experience/opinion about buying something at amazon.com ?
  17. Not Black Magick,Bad Magick sry m8 :D the only problem is to do the legato slide part in EOF,if i want to move the note just only a little bit,it will bind the legato note with the first D5 power chord(wich is come after the legato part) and I'm talking about the vampires song now,and not for bad magick, bad magick has a very different problem, but now i think i leave this 2 song, because i'm not in the mood to do them, and also I have personal problems with my friend , and mainly this influence my english so bad,so don't be supriesed i'm a reatard about speaking english.
  18. I meant the slides on grace notes are not exported in any other way,if i even save it and open it later, it's still not noted as a slide grace note, and that's the first problem and it's not EOF's fault,do you think i should try another GP 6 ?because my currently is not so stabil anyway...
  19. Good for you,but i have problem with these as you see,the problem with grace nots(i didn't mentiond it before lol) is,when i put a legato slide to it(to the grace note)GP 6 doesn't export the legato slide to the grace note,if it whould export it,then i don't have to mess with guitar pro 5 with the slides issues and LET RING part issuses,Maybe i have a bad version of GP 6,i don't know
  20. It makes no sense to me... Guitar pro 5 export normal slides into legato slides, and legato slides into normals slides, also it doesn't export let ring parts.Guitar pro 6 doesn't export grace notes correctly ant that's where i get mindfuck.Sorry if i was stupid,i'm very neourvus again and i can't focus normaly.
  21. Don't you under stand? This problems are not with EOF!(execpt the legato issue stuff) Guitar Pro 5 doesn't export legato slides, let ring parts, and the normal slides are imported as legato slides.Guitar Pro 6 doesn't export the graces notes only, there are a grace note in both guitar tracks at the legato part, wich is another problem, but this time it's not guitar pro 5 or 6's fault, because they both import it correctly, only EOF doesn't import it good.Just see for your self, try to import the Vampires GP file into GP 6 and 5 and see the difference.
  22. 2 things are not imported correctly basd in my experience, the first one is the legato,i said that earlier, the second one is these 2 guitar parts, but i don't know for sure, maybe the problem is only with me,but whould you try it pls? Also the guitar pro things wich are not imported corretly is not EOF's fault, beacuse the problem is the next:i make changes in a GP tab and then export it,the tab has a grace note in both guitar part, this is what guitar pro 6 doesn't import. Then i have to open the tab in Guitar Pro 5 to export in there, because it's import the grace notes, but guitar pro 5 doesn't import the let ring parts and the NORMAL slides are imported as legato slides. And these are my problem currently.
  23. Well, it seems, i won't make this song either, because guitar pro 6 and 5 are sucks at importing.Guitar pro 6 doesn't import grace notes and guitar pro 5 doesn't import let ring parts, and also the NORMAL slides are imported as legato slides. And sadly, the story doesn't ends here, because EOF doesn't handle right another guitar pro tab. When i import the Lead part, and make it to be sync,it doesn't effect the rhythm part, and messes up the whole thing.I mean if I syncd the lead part and i want to make the rhythm and import it,it doesn't have the same changes as in the lead. It looks like, i can't make any of these songs, and i'm start to get depressd because if these effect in other songs that i whould like to make in the future,it's not going to work, and then i can't make customs anymore :(
  24. You mean to learn this shapes? If you didn't tryd earlier, then barre chords 1 (chords 301) and barre chords 2 (chords 302), of if you mean by song, then i don't know :p maybe, Holiday and Wake Me Up When September Ends by Green Day,they mostly use power chods, but they use barre chords too a lot ;)
