Welp, im giving up on this one, song is too long to afford to make a mistake before the solo and when it happens its really boring having to sit through all this chording to get to the part i f'ed up and my strumming hand feels like its going to fall off! Id rather let this song go than have my hand hurt for like 2 weeks. Then again, i didnt come on the championship to be THAT competitive, ill gladly take 2nd place thank you very much :)

@@AlpaQ Did you notice how many mistakes was that 0.20% you lost? Just looking for a way to evaluate the maximum number of mistakes i could do before i go below 99.78% -Engaging Tryhard Mode

Are you talking about the signature thingy ?? :) It should get picked as GoG some day! Only gods can do that. (Seriously though, i have no idea how that kid had the guts to do that infront of people!! Even if i have to play blitzkrieg bop i would faint on stage from the thought of making a mistake :) )

Couldnt play today and yesterday but tomorrow ill try to take it seriously, practice the solo full time and update my Iron Maiden score by a bit if i can

Tried once Two Lane blacktop just for fun to see what the all the fuss was about. Its much cleaner than the other version. Gj on that! http://oi67.tinypic.com/2rmlifm.jpgAnd then i was like "Why not" and tried Iron maiden once more got a bit of an improvement. 1 random miss right before the solo and 1 random one at the end. My main mistakes are at the first part of the solo. The transition between the riff and the first part of the solo makes it harder. I practice the solo but by the time i actually reach it when on SA my hands have forgotten all the placements they should take :) http://oi68.tinypic.com/xbes7q.jpg

@Rodman I dont think our problem is the length of the song (at least for me, i dont know about other MC players :) ) but the repetition of riffs and/or the boring parts that may be in a long song (I.e: boring riff or clean toned parts that are very slow and repetitive)

I kinda agree on that. All parts before and after the solo are really repetitive but i personally like iron maiden so i dont really mind. Gj though!

@@AlpaQ My parents always wanted to sign me up for guitar lessons but i was like 6-7 back then and didnt really care. My dad had a guitar shop but i still wasnt convinced. (I know, stoopid) At the end he sold it to pursue sound engineering (that was a LONG time ago :) ) and i just forgot about the whole guitar thing. Fast forward to last year, i ran into rocksmith while looking for guitar hero on a online shop and from then, i was hooked (And this is what the internet refers to as thread hijacking :P, ill work on a new score tomorrow)

@@AlpaQ Still, it wouldnt be as bad as when people that dont even play instruments "know" for a fact that without a teacher you wont get anywhere :D I was almost talked out of spending money for a guitar plus the game and every single one my peers/family that doubted me used the same exact point everyone else uses ;) Still was one of the best choices ive made so far! (They still choose to believe its "magic video game editing" that makes the guitar sounds rather than admit they were wrong but whatever :p)

Does your teacher know about RS? I always wondered what teacher may think about it. Thats mainly the reason i didnt get a teacher, thought he might limit my rs playing because "its a game" and he may snob it as a means of practice. Sorry for all the questions but it just popped in my mind :)

@@AlpaQ I dont remember if they are the same speed but its a lot clearer and generally more easy. Also, do you fix your problems on your guitar alone?? If so, do you have a video you used to learn from or some tips for me because if i can avoid the 30 euros that i must give to the repair guy that would be great! Id rather spend them on strings rather than something that i might be able to adjust on my own

@@AlpaQ the MC song isnt hard at all! I got 99.4% 1st try, im sure you can fc it. The only hard part is the transition from that usual riff that iron maiden loves to the first sweep-like part of the solo. And the detection is great even if the tone is a bit mushy. Granted, my guitar also has both bad intonation and bad action which im too afraid to fix on my own :)

Hell yes! I can finally skip tuning checks and search by typing! I personally would be fine with just these 2 things

@ Have you tried running it on both score attack and learn a song?? Also, try non-stop play. Just put this song and 1 or 2 others on a playlist and go through all of them and then see if rob zombie song starts up I hope that helps! I never got this working for me but ive heard it works for others
