Hey, sorry, I've had no time to practice this week. Work has been crazy I had a quick play tonight just to submit a score, but I know I could do better with a little practice. Just noticed there is a new version now too :) Beg Lead - 92.07%

I don't know why, but the Beginner Lead song this week, just doesn't work the way my brain does. I just can't get my head around it. I had a go at it on Sunday, and have been putting it off ever since. I've played it through in riff repeater many times over the last couple of days, and have finally managed to get a score through, I think I'll leave it there though I always knew there was something wrong with my head. This song proves it :-) Beginner Lead - 86%

Hard work on the De Capo challenge, but eventually got some good improvement De Capo - 99.48%

I thought I needed to give Vodka some motivation to practice just a tiny bit more. Just 0.01 ahead,k but still short of the top spot :) Beginner lead - 98.01%

First go at the Beginner song Beg Lead - 96.52%

I had a go at intermediate lead too, not really expecting much. I'd never have had the confidence to try this without the RS championship, and it's not as bad as I thought. with the exception of a couple of parts, it's not much harder to play than the beginner song, and loads of fun :). I'm going to enjoy spending some time trying to get up near the 90's Int Lead - 82%

First crack at beginner lead. This one feels hard for a beginner level again. I thrashed my way through it though :) Beginner Lead - 88%

Slight improvement Int Lead - 87.26%

Had a crack at Int Lead too. I really like playing this song. There are parts of it that are way over my skill level, but enough of it isn't to be fun to play. I doubt whether I can get this to 90%, but I think there is definitely another couple of percent in it. Intermediate Lead - 85.73%

A little bit of improvement on beginner Lead. I had a horrible end to this run, so if I worked hard there might be another half or even 1% there. Beginner Lead - 93.1% And I did manage to scrape though on rhythm. Enough to post a score, but I'm not going to put any more time into it. Beginner Rhythm - 86.72%

@ - I think most people use web hosting to do so. I don't know that I'd specifically recommend them, but I use mediafire. I upload the screenshot to mediafire, go into the sharing options on the screenshot and copy out the direct link. This can then be pasted into the URL field. This means that whenever the screenshot is displayed, it is resolved and displayed dynamically from the web host.

@ Welcome to the beginners group :) It is generally a friendly competition, where we look to post scores as we go, encouraging others to beat them, and in turn pushing ourselves to do better. I guess someone could wait until just before the deadline and post a winning score, but it generally isn't done that way because we are trying to encourage each other to do better. I quite often start the week with a 70 or 80% score and work to get it into the 90's and as high in the 90's as possible be the end of the week. You'll see from the scores this week, in comparison to previous weeks, that in general the beginners are struggling a little with this song, and it is probably at the top end of the scale for beginners. It is rated as a 3 difficulty, but I've certainly played 4's that were easier. If the lead is at the top end, the rhythm is clearly in a different class (in my uneducated opinion :) ). Don't worry about it though, next week will likely be easier, and for this week, if you can't get a run in Score Attack in, doing it in learn a song is also allowed as long as the difficulty is all at 100%.

Hey @@franfit, Yep, I'm having some recognition issues, and almost certainly in that same place in the Ghost song.

Family has gone, so back to playing now. First go at the Arctics. Like Franny, I found this harder than the difficulty level implied. I did manage to get a couple of runs through on SA Hard, but I can't get a run through without big red kisses yet. I had a quick look at the rhythm, and in my view, whoever rated it a 3 was dreaming :) I know it's hard to find beginner rhythm songs so I'm definitely not going to complain, but I don't think I will be entering Rhythm this week. Beg Lead - 90.14%

Sorry all, I've just had no time to play this week with family around. I had a really quick crack at the Rhythm tonight. Beginner Rhythm - 94.49%

Not much activity from me this week. I've got family staying and so little time to practice. Maybe it's just me, but I found this pretty hard for a 3. It's taken me a lot of runs this evening to get through SA without getting the 3 big kisses. Having said that, I've struggled before with songs and then it's clicked at one point. Hopefully this will be the same if I can find the time :) Beginner Lead - 89.81%

Yes! Managed to beat my 95% target :) Only had to play it a thousand times, at least that's what my fingers feel like Int Lead - 96.43% Also a Rhythm score Int Rhythm - 92.77%

@@Vodka - You said that last time and then came back with a score of 100% :) Keep fighting!

Maybe 95% isn't dreaming, although I got this early on tonight, and got lots more 94% accuracy runs and much better streaks and scores afterwards, but couldn't beat the accuracy from this early run. Int Lead - 94.65%

First SA run at the Arctic Monkeys. Struggling with the speed a little, but not too bad considering and I think still room for improvement. I'd like to get over the 95% mark. I'm not sure if that's dreaming, but I'll give it my best shot. Int Lead - 91.31%
