Inlays should work for Mac the same as custom songs. Are custom songs for Mac working for you? If so, can you generate a custom inlay with the the default template images? Does it work? What template are you trying to load that you get error for?

The old news is that the Custom Guitar Maker feature was added to CSC Toolkit as a new feature (tab) call Inlay Creator. This feature produces custom guitar inlays much the same way as the original program. With the CSC Toolkit version, users can also produce 24 fret custom inlays. The latest news is that the newest version of CSC Toolkit now includes a new feature also under the Inlay Creator tab that will allow user to modify their game intro screens. Details, tutorials and help, as well as, a stand alone version of the program Custom Game Toolkit (CGT) can be found at: http://goo.gl/e9HTls. Users can create guitar inlays, customize intro screens, and customize virtually any game image and much more. I will try to do a Q&A in this thread if you have questions about the new features. After you click "Generate", your custom guitar inlay package will be save to the "cgm" folder which is located in the root CSC Toolkit folder if you did not specified a "Rocksmith 2014 path" in the new Configuration toolbar. You will need to manually copy the *.psarc file(s) to the RS2014/dlc/Inlays folder. Tutorials and help for the new Inlay Creator feature can be found here. I use an automobile seat belt cover that is black and well padded. It wraps around your guitar strap and is held on with velcro. It slides to any position you want. Very cozy. You can find these at a larger autoparts store.
