  1. I agree that it would be a problem if a good CDLC could be removed for overly strict reasons. However, I don't believe the minimum standard being asked is truly that strict. 99% of the time spent creating a CDLC doesn’t go into the small details that are being reported, but rather into the things you already do to maintain your quality benchmark. Adjusting the new elements being asked for only takes a few minutes while you're working on the chart. People have been used to playing CDLCs for years with absurd tabs or ones poorly represented with the techniques available in the game. On top of that, many are desynchronized, with nonsensical phrases, tones, volumes, and speeds, etc. In that context, yours are like manna from heaven. But if people were used to the new standard, they would notice that paying attention to those details makes for a much, much better user experience. That said, I know this is an issue the community has been dealing with since even before CF existed. There are many possible "solutions," each with its pros and cons. This one was chosen with the best of intentions. Of course, as I said in my first message, I can understand if the majority of people were content with the previous state; I just wanted to point out that other perspectives do exist. After so many years, I think it’s a good idea for the community to try moving forward. If anyone changes their mind, remember that there are creators on Discord who gladly invest a lot of time sharing their knowledge and tricks with others.
  2. The opinions of the author and those who support them are entirely valid, and I don't wish to inquire into the details of the debate. I simply want to add another variable to consider: Personally, I'm immensely grateful for the new standard, as everything that's been released lately is significantly more fun to play and feels much closer to an ODLC. I honestly wouldn't like to see things go back to how they were before. I'm sure many players have felt the same way recently.
  3. To answer your first question, I’d say the game doesn’t offer that option directly, but if it’s really important to you, one idea might be to use DLC Builder to change, for example, the release year of the songs and set them as 1, 2, 3, 4, etc. That way, when you sort your playlist by year, they’ll appear in the order you want. Alternatively, you could rename the songs to add a number at the beginning of the title. Regarding your second question, it’s quite simple to use DLC Builder to fix some of the things you mentioned (adjusting volumes, changing tones, etc.), but for other tasks (like editing lyrics or manually modifying notes), you’d need to export the file to EoF. I can help you out if you have questions about DLC Builder, but for EoF, I’d recommend heading to Discord (if no one else replies here). There are plenty of knowledgeable people there who are always willing to help. In any case, here’s a tutorial:
  4. That's right, it's not that with DLC Builder you can manually fix a song; you need to do that with Editor On Fire (EOF). What DLC Builder offers are a few automated corrections that can be generalized to any song. I believe both examples that Hikikomori provided are included in those automatic fixes. All you need to do is, within DLC Builder, make sure that the 'Apply improvements' option is enabled in 'Configuration -> Build'. Then, you import the .psarc file you want to fix (Ctrl+E), and simply by clicking on 'Finish Editing', the improvements will be applied. If you want to know if any changes have been made, in the 'Arrangements' section, the button to the right of the '+' is called 'Validate arrangements', which enables red and green checks. When a red cross appears, you can click on it in 'Issues' to see the 'problems' that remain to be solved in EOF. If you compare the list of issues before and after clicking 'Finish Editing', you can see what problems have been resolved. Keep in mind that most items on the problem list will not be related to note detection issues. Some are even just suggestions to ensure we all follow the official style for making charts.
  5. I think I once read from halsb (who is the best player I know) that there are official songs he doesn't try to get platinum on because it's impossible due to detection issues. On the other hand, I’ve heard him recommend techniques to "ease" the detection of chord slides, which he says is one of the worst implemented features in the game. Regarding custom songs, I believe iminashi (the creator of DLC Builder) has done quite a bit of research on these issues, and his program fixes some of the detection errors when they result from poor implementation by the track creator (but not those that are inherent problems of the game itself). For example, frets beyond the 21st? have many detection issues, so it's officially recommended to make those notes auto-detect. It's possible that some of the customs you're using have issues that could be fixed if you adjust them with DLC Builder.
  7. It looks like you are sharing a playlist instead of a song. 1. Right-click on the song in the playlist that is 2. The last option: share. And then copy. The link should not say “/playlist/...”, but “/track/...”
  8. That's right, my laptop recommends 125%. I changed it to 100% and the problem is fixed. Everything looks worse to me this way, so what I've done is to reduce Chrome's zoom to 90% and all is perfect, since it only affects Ignition. Thank you very much. I'm still curious why it looked fine until now and why the problem was only in those two columns.
  9. 1080p. Google Chrome (I also tried Edge, but same problem).
  10. I have problems with the "Added" and "Updated" columns. Everything was clearly separated before. It's Google Chrome (but in Edge I also have this problem). I've tried clearing cache and cookies. By the way, speaking of these columns, I made a suggestion a while back about whether an option to restrict the search to "added" or "updated" songs between two dates could be implemented in the future. I didn't get any feedback, so I ask again in case I wasn't noticed. Thank you for everything.
  11. I think it would be cool to be able to filter by date range when songs were added or updated in the database. For example, you want to see only songs that were uploaded in 2023 (in order to sort by number of downloads). What do you think? It would help a bit to visibilize popular songs from the nearest years and that inevitably can't compete with songs that were uploaded in 2014 for example. Thanks for your great work. There is not much left for the 10th anniversary, right? (according to Ignition the first song was uploaded on February 19, 2014 ).
  12. @ bitman , the link no longer works
