Improvement after an hour on Riff Repeater

Unrelated question about multiplayer that maybe someone can help me out with : I tried to play some guitar+bass with my partner yesterday and we wanted to slow a song down to 50% to practice it together. Whenever I go into riff repeater and turn the speed down and hit 'practice selection' the song just keeps being at 100%, no matter what I try to reduce the speed. I also tried using RSMods to decrease the speed but the hotkeys don't work at all in multiplayer. I've searched the forums and online but couldn't find any discussion about this problem (I guess local multiplayer isn't really that popular) Did any of you try it before? Or maybe someone could help me out and check it on their setup? Maybe it's a general problem with Rocksmith and it never worked in the first place

First playthroughs of the week Can I go from Int to Adv If I get 99%+ on a diff. 6 song that's already advanced? I think I want to learn the megadeth riffs and some of the easy solos this week. I Don't think I'm ready for the hard solo yet

I was wondering that a couple of weeks ago as well - the * means you can advance (if you want to) to the next class if you get a 99% on guitar || 99.5% on bass. And the ^ means the same as the * but also that it's even more difficult than what the class is supposed to be like. (For example, beginner songs are supposed to be rated between 1-3 difficulty, but a 3.5 might be used in that category and will get a ^ label For the screenshots, you can use another filehoster to upload your screenshots to and just paste the direct link here which will embed the picture automatically. You can also hit F12 in Steam and upload it to Steam and use the image link from your Steam screenshots (you can upload them privately too) Personally, I like to use a mod for RS that does a couple of things but also takes a Steam screenshot after every song I play, so I won't forget it

Improvement - I could work on it a little more, but I will move on to learning the Allman Brothers Band song instead

I could work on all of them - The allman brothers one would probably be the best but it's so long and varies quite a bit so I'm not sure what I'm doing this week I'm not sure why the Tame Impala song is in D Standard I think this song could easily be played in E Standard too

Way too hard for me, but I did it anyway exposure to hard songs can only be a good thing, right?

Almost forgot to post my small improvement I don't expect to get a better score any time soon, the solo is just too hard for me right now

I'm still fairly new, playing guitar for less than 2 years - but I also try to play bass the usual way. I watched a few videos when I bought my bass last year and try to keep in mind what to do and what not to do when it comes to muting the strings, thumb placement on higher strings, and whatnot. When it says (picked) in RS I do try to use a pick but it still feels kinda awkward from time to time because the strings are so thick (Not sure if I should try to get some thicker picks for that)

I guess I'll start with learning the beginner song first this week Beginner song but feels just as hard as the harder ones

Regarding the week start time: For me in a European timezone, I always enjoyed the times when It was like 8 or 9PM when the new week started and I was able to play the new songs once before going to bed But that's something I'd like people in other timezones to experience too, so I don't really have any good suggestions for the situation For the scores, I think it's only fair if the cut-off is a little later because the week start might be at night for some people and they'll just have less time to work on a song. The only problem I see is that it makes the end of a week less clear and the winners that are announced in the new week might change after a week has already started causing some confusion

Didn't feel great but it was an improvement after all You can also use those in any Standard tuning too because they don't use the low D string
