    I did take my drop tuning bass away with me this week, but ended up playing Volbeat and QOTSA instead...     I don't think it's normal but it does happen. I even think my truss rod on my drop tuning bass managed to work loose. Either that, or I set it up with massively high action. :) You probably already know, but you can check how straight the neck is by using the strings as a straight edge. Press down on the first and 19th fret (or wherever the neck meets the body) and you'll have an idea of how much relief you've got in the neck (today lol).

    I think scores are very dependent on lag. My scores are always bad, but I don't worry about it, as long as I sound okay through my amp. Mind you, I may be well ahead or behind the beat, and just not be hearing it. lol
