  1. Slight improvements: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B49Qq-EFnmrKQ0ZfOTk4cWlqdU0/view?usp=sharing (Oh, and here we go, again, at least I'm consistent) https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B49Qq-EFnmrKVjQxWmtGT1BsYnM/view?usp=sharing https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B49Qq-EFnmrKZEVjRHRINTMwWDA/view?usp=sharing
  2. I'm full of cold, hence my lack of scores. I have been mostly falling asleep in my mum's garden in Wales (i.e. nowhere near my drop tuning bass) and not doing very much for the past two days. I have been playing, just not championship songs - not this week's songs, anyway ;).
  3. First goes: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B49Qq-EFnmrKcDkzWENTeV9uN00/view?usp=sharing https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B49Qq-EFnmrKcS1XdkwzOXR1VDQ/view?usp=sharing https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B49Qq-EFnmrKZXJnN292NWROclk/view?usp=sharing https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B49Qq-EFnmrKWUV5TGhNbVAxeHM/view?usp=sharing
  4. I always wear colours to aways - I don't get into many pubs! Seriously though, I hope you are okay. It's shame that every club has arsehole "supporters".
  5. I improved my streak to 263, but failed to beat my score. Ah, well, at least I'm trying. (Some would say I'm very trying... ;) ) I've figured out why I'm failing - it's my fret hand finger speed. After the first hammer on I just can't lift my finger fast enough off the D string to register the next note, so I'm always missing the G string 9th fret that follows. :( My bass fingers are set to span and sit flat on most strings, automatically, you see. I reckon a guitarist wouldn't have this problem, because he wouldn't be bridging multiple strings with a hammer-on in the first place - he'd be playing with his actual finger tip, and missing the other strings.
  6. I'm glad to see I'm not that far off the pace. :)
  7. Again, no improvement, but I got close, and improved my streak: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B49Qq-EFnmrKMXAtZ1lxakQ4czA/view?usp=sharing I was playing on my short scale bass for a few reasons: 1. the strings are floppier, for less fatigue during the hammer-ons (no performance increase on that first note on the G string that I keep missing though) 2. the frets are closer together for less stretch on the hammer-ons (I can actually use my third finger now, and not have to rely on my pinky (yes, I have really short fingers)) 3. and I've fitted flats on it, which is an infinite relief for my taped up right hand index finger. Maybe I should try it on guitar with a pick instead? :D
  8. Do you have plenty of time to practice? :D yes plenty of time plus im usually a blues player will be nice to mix up the genre That was my poor attempt at a joke, after realising what your user name was...
  9. Well, if it makes you feel better, I haven't got anywhere near my 95% since, but I have got the hammer-ons down in Riff Repeater (ah, so that's what it's supposed to sound like...), too bad I suffer from fatigue about three bars in... At least I'm still pain free. And I did improve my streak. I daren't even try Colours again. lol
  10. I braved Score Attack and was so pleased to get >94%, and to be pain free. I gave it another go, but felt fatigue setting in, so went off and played a couple of easy tunes. As I was still pain free I owed it another go at the end of the evening: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B49Qq-EFnmrKdEhNaWJtV0R1OWM/view?usp=sharing I am going to take it easy this week, honest, I am... :D
  11. First(-ish) goes: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B49Qq-EFnmrKejBiVGtuZ0dDQk0/view?usp=sharing https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B49Qq-EFnmrKRW5kbWZEQ0puQkk/view?usp=sharing https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B49Qq-EFnmrKQXRzaXZBa3kxVHM/view?usp=sharing And first go was 88%, but I managed a slight improvement: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B49Qq-EFnmrKelRoM3hxa3VYSjQ/view?usp=sharing I've got pain in my knuckle again, so going to have to take it easy, and maybe just concentrate on my class...
  12. Here's some I did earlier: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B49Qq-EFnmrKVjRfQkpkQi0wbEk/view?usp=sharing https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B49Qq-EFnmrKSHlsVXAxemhTSzQ/view?usp=sharing https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B49Qq-EFnmrKM3BGZk5rOG9Xd00/view?usp=sharing https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B49Qq-EFnmrKd2doWjk4Qm1PSFk/view?usp=sharing What can I say? I was tired. At least it's some scores on the board. "This season I have been mostly playing ELO..."
  13. My knuckle has been better since about Tuesday, so no more excuses really, but guess which bits I failed on? https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B49Qq-EFnmrKRklFa0dvN2F3M2c/view?usp=sharing I beat my best go with my first go, and I was so close to @@Mortalo's score, I had to give it another go: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B49Qq-EFnmrKNTgybzBUbmw1MW8/view?usp=sharing Sorry, Mortie - you're going to have to play it again! :D
  14. right, no saturday is the only day i can sit down and go over the songs what I posted just now is all first/second tries Right, I'll have to let you off then.
  15. Obviously, @@steroma, that wasn't aimed at you. Oh, hang on... nipple clamps - with your avatar, might have been? lol
  16. So @@Joker that's why you don't post your scores earlier, then? Fear of being beaten? Anyway, this evening I have mostly been playing Eagles.
  17. Oh, yeah, forgot to say, I did these yesterday: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B49Qq-EFnmrKRGM2NEMxV1Zab1k/view?usp=sharing https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B49Qq-EFnmrKTjBEVUlLWGtrQWc/view?usp=sharing https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B49Qq-EFnmrKWEUyTGoxMjI2ak0/view?usp=sharing For more than one reason, I'm going to be taking it easy this week - almost no pain in my knuckle now. :)
  18. I'd just like to add Scott Devine (yeah, bass, I know) suggests you play one note, then two, at full speed, then three... then four, then five, add one, repeat, repeat. You get the picture. So you play at full speed from the start, but only as many notes as you can handle, repeating, all the time. It's got me through some lines when just speeding up on full difficulty on RR wasn't working.
  19. NO! You chose it! You f'in well play it! :D lol well i didnt choose it i just made it. I would also like it if some of the bass only tracks where used. Well, I don't like it. But it's nothing to do with the way it's made. :) And I know we have some similar tastes, so I'll forgive you.
  20. NO! You chose it! You f'in well play it! :D lol
  21. I'd be happy to rate any bass only tracks. I'm here pretty much 24/7. /sad
  22. Bored to Death was working fine for me: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B49Qq-EFnmrKa0VYcHFVQ0hkNDQ/view?usp=sharing I converted it with the old stable version of the Mac Toolkit (April 2014). Copy here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B49Qq-EFnmrKUFc1QjNfaHRzS3c/view?usp=sharing
  23. I haven't been skiving, honest. I've had pain in my index finger knuckle since Thursday. Actually, I played through it on Thursday, thinking it was just muscular, only to realise Friday morning it was in the joint. :( I took it easy yesterday - I only played relatively easy stuff for less than an hour. And I've stayed away today (been cleaning and ripping my car to bits instead). There wouldn't have been any point in me playing the Rush song again anyway. There were already too many scores at 100%, and you all know I don't do 100% battles (not until I sort my latency issues, anyway). :D
