Grats! Yeah that's how I play it. I suppose it's better form to stick to the box from 7-10, but my pinky isn't the same since I dislocated it playing soccer.

I'll try the INT Rhythm again later, but tbh this song is just making it all the more glaring the tuning issues I have. (G string and B string suffer from the 'tink' when tuning and now I've noticed they are very sharp on the first couple frets, and I can't get e a d on the first few frets to sound perfectly in tune) I tried re-intonating the guitar again and even adjusting the action a bit, using or not using the string saddles... Annoying same out of tune, and now I've finally completely stripped my 37-year-old intonation screw heads. :( Gotta order new strings and see if I can get replacement screws I guess and maybe look into replacing the nut.

Yeah Stacy's Mom is giving me all kinds of inconsistent regging, but I assume it's just me/my guitar or the calibration/tuning given other people using the same cdlc are getting 98s etc. It keeps saying I'm not hitting the notes when I palm mute (but fine when I don't palm mute), nor the 3 finger power chords, and I'm like, 'Female Dog, please'.

I hate that Muse PSARC so much. Everything about that rhythm arrangement and mixing in Rocksmith sounds horrible. I cannot hear any of the strings through the distortion of the tone, the chords aren't right (e.g. D chord is listed as Dm when it's clearly D on the track), it omits the E4-E drop that appears in other tabs and which actually sounds good, there's these random high-string parts that you literally cannot hear on the track. Some updates. BEG Lead is now 99.26%, 454 streak and 2,067,254 score INT Rhythm is now 93.47% streak 102, score 478,727 It's still way too fast for me and the string skipping to make it sound good, but somehow the note recognition was stupendously forgiving.

I didn't end up having time last week, but here's the new songs. Beginner Lead (96.2% LS 229 Score 1,551,459) and Intermediate Rhythm (90% on LAS with 109 Streak) did okay. Would likely fail on Score Attack for Sabaton, but hopefully can try again later in the week. I found Now That We're Dead very fun to play - though TBH I found it sounded better at around 90% speed to keep a nicer walking pace and it kinda reminded me of the feeling I get with Bleeding Me. I'm not posting those scores because a. they're not impressive; and b. they'll apparently push my class entry into INT Lead and ADV Rhythm, but Thank you very much for the great Metallica CDLC!
