  1. Monotone enough to make an ASMR star jealous:
  2. The way these arpeggios are played is really starting to bring back memories of Andy LaRocque's creepy nylon string intro on "The 7th Day of July 1777," though I guess that is part of its own unique and disturbing love story.
  3. Sounds like a softer song that would be on Killers if Bruce was the singer at the time:
  4. Thanks! Interesting result :) Honestly didn't expect you to struggle with the bends. So I take you'd say the Bob Marley song is harder than the Beatles? Using toolkit to unpack the songs.psarc, which holds the on-disc songs. Then finding the files that you need to create a dlc file and re-packing it with new name. After re-packing, you can change the scroll speed in CFSM. ^ That's how it works, but I wasn't able to get that to work, but luckily I know bwaredapenguin. He does high quality dlcs; just look at the cdlcs he made of the latest Tool album. He also extracted Satch Boogie from on-disc songs and created this: <link removed> Appreciate the link! That particular Bob Marley lead track is harder for me personally, though that is because vibrato technique is still one of my less refined areas of guitar playing, especially two or more semitone bends on the high E. Before I started the guitar paths on this contest, I had major issues even bending whole steps on the G string, which is less of the case now after practicing lead a lot more often.
  5. Done: This is a hottake showing how lackluster my vibrato is, especially on the high e string. Nearly all these errors were bends that were not wide enough, especially those whole step high e string ones. Rhythm attempt for comparison. Also, how did you edit an official, because that needlessly fast scrolling speed is what is solely keeping me from attempting "Satch Boogie" on lead?
  6. I've played this a ton, but this style is something I love hearing I ton, so I definitely do not mind:
  7. Minor (no pun intended) improvements, but I could still use some more refinement:
  8. Not of this contest, but I played my favorite Death song in memory of the drumming master Sean Reinert. Hopefully this will not be the "Year of the Dead Percussion Virtuoso":
