  1. Really don,t think it,s from RS or amp....More like hammer drills and grinders and general noise of construction the likely culprit. Don,t need them for everyday life, only notice it at night but runnihg a fan cancels it out...After reading other forums ,some other guitarists had concerns about this also and regularly use them...I,m not sold on using them though. Absolutely correct in seeking doctor,s opinion Used to go to this place Fri nights,",Panic Bar "was the night,s name..All alt music Blasting (loved that heavy bass drumming through me)...Leave there 2 AM and man,,,had my bell rung there!!
  2. I,ll answer my own question.... Bought these : http://www.guitarcenter.com/Hearos/High-Fidelity-Series-Long-Term-Earplugs-1-Pair.gc Past 2 months ears have been ringing,,Don,t know if it,s from Guitar or not but started reading about ear-ringing on various Guitar forums...Gave these plugs a try..Kept volume for RS where i normally do (fairly loud through a 42" flat screen), and started playing..Heard it well enough that it didn,t affect my playing RS..Tried them playing through my amp and same thing...They still feel a little uncomfortable ,,,but after reading what others have to say about ringing ears and how it might be too late to do anything about it,,,just hoping that these will help it from getting worse. .......hold on a sec,,,,,WOULD SOMEONE ANSWER THAT DA@N PHONE!!! oh sorry ,,,guess it,s my ears!
  3. Anyone wearing them ?? If so,, What kind for playing??
  4. maybe they think i suck and they turn their backs on me!!!
  5. Is it just me ,or is when a song is playing,,,is the crowd facing away from the stage?? no big deal but kinda bugs me..
  6. run the "verify integrity of files" in your steam library of games..Think that happened to me once..
  7. Just got one (also a Squier Telecaster) yesterday..This is the multi-scale,fanned fret RGIM7BC...Been wanting one of these fanned frets for a while..Anyone think it,s possible to get any songs for this on RS?? (meaning with the additional low B string or alt tunings?) http://www.ibanez.com/products/u_eg_detail17.php?year=2017&cat_id=1&series_id=1&data_id=216&color=CL01
  8. Thought Guitar had loose wire or needed new jack as it would crackle and pop as i moved around..Bought a new RS cable and that cured it..My original was 4 yrs old ..Just putting this out there in case someone has something similar
  9. just go into your rs2014 folder,, open the dlc folder and just delete whatever song you don,t want. I thought i deleted my post as i mis-interperated ( how the F you spell that????),,your question when i posted this WRONG answer,,Sorry.. I started looking into how to do this ,,,, don,t know if opening the "songs.psarc" file in RS 2014 folder would show all the official songs or not?? would need a program that opens psarc files and see whats there..Hopefully someone knows the answer to this as i,d like to know myself!

  11. Thought there was a thread about this on here?? Forgot about this one, cool song!
  12. Someone tried getting me to play a skinflute, whatever that is??????? ;)
  13. you might want to make a copy of configuration settings first in case something F,s up...you can change resolution or tone down visualquality....if it is 3 ,for example,, change to a 2 ,save and exit...see what happens..still bad try going to a 1..or try changing numbers on screenwidth, screenheight... don,t forget to make a backup copy of configuration file BEFORE you try changing something...if you change any numbers ,,you HAVE to SAVE ,then exit here,s mine: [Audio] EnableMicrophone=0 ExclusiveMode=1 LatencyBuffer=4 ForceDefaultPlaybackDevice= ForceWDM=0 ForceDirectXSink=0 Win32UltraLowLatencyMode=1 DumpAudioLog=0 MaxOutputBufferSize=0 [Renderer.Win32] ShowGamepadUI=0 ScreenWidth=1280 ScreenHeight=720 Fullscreen=2 VisualQuality=3 RenderingWidth=0 RenderingHeight=0 EnablePostEffects=0 EnableShadows=1 EnableHighResScope=0 EnableDepthOfField=0 EnablePerPixelLighting=1 MsaaSamples=1 DisableBrowser=1 [Net] UseProxy=1
  14. Try going into your RS2014 folder on whatever drive it,s on... open configuration settings ,, change what you want ,,save and exit.. See if that will help you..
  15. Thanks for the vid! Really like the looks of that guitar,,(the Ibanez he,s playing,,that,s what i,ve been looking at)) 4th finger on my fretting hand always wants to curve in too much,,,having those fanned frets looks like it would be easier to reach with 4th finger...I,d imagine if it was tuned standard,,the 7th string would just be tuned to a lower bass ????
  16. Anyone ever try guitar with these ?? Easier to make bar chords with??? Been looking at the Ibanez 7 -string.
  17. i have to do this before i start RS2014 almost everytime...Went to play and instead of arrows pointing where i hit the wrong note on fretboard,,,there was just a grey square showing up,,same as i tuned...didn,t show the little RS shield on every string,,just a small grey square... Anyone else have these problems show up? When i validate files,,it fixes things but this just started to happen..
  18. How about some Tuff Darts ? https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=tuff+darts
  19. didn,t know this,, have to check it out... Thanks
  20. mine goes back to 17 everytime i start RS...i set it to 77 ..Think this topic has been mentioned before..Any way to have it stay where ya want it without tab-alt to change it ?
  21. I,ll add something about holding the pick...2008 i nearly cut my right arm off at work, mid fore-arm..Doc said i cut everything there was to cut except the bone..anyway,2 years of therapy to get use of my hand back..Lost feeling in thumb, index and middle finger,,.so as far as holding a pick ,,,don,t know if i,m holding it or not..solution,,, I wrap duct tape around index finger and pick,,but that works pretty good..never drop the pick and always stays pointed the right way..
