@@MellonFarmer lol, just give it some time and I guarantee you'll catch up to me. I don't have any formal training other than learning the basics when I was 12, the rest I learned from just practice and rocksmith. If I can do it then so can you -

Got midterms this week and next week so practice will probably slow down quite a bit This one I feel has a lot of potential to be a great song but a few parts just feel off or lacking Small improvements -

@@PinKushin No worries, just a simple miscommunication. I understand with the price though, maybe you'll get lucky and there will be a sale sometime. The best hobbies always end up being the most expensive. -

Yes, that link points to the Drop tune pedal. But the link you originally gave pointed to this: https://www.amazon.com/DigiTech-Polyphonic-Bundle-Instrument-Polishing/dp/B079Y8VCZ9?th=1 And that's what confused me, and I'm sure @@PinKushin was confused by that as well. Perhaps you fixed the URL later on, but it originally pointed to the wrong pedal. Got it, just a misunderstanding then. The link I gave must have defaulted to a different pedal which is why I was confused and had no clue what you were talking about. @@PinKushin To answer your question properly. No, you don't need the CabDry pedal, just the drop pedal. Here's the proper link this time: https://amazon.com/Digitech-DROP-Compact-Polyphonic-Pitch-Shifter/dp/B00LXMN740/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1537213371&sr=8-4&keywords=digitech+drop+pedal -

@@meelo Idk, I'm not an expert, I've always just called it a detune pedal. I don't know what the difference between the two is. All I know for sure is that this is what you want and all you'll need besides a regular guitar cable. https://amazon.com/Digitech-DROP-Compact-Polyphonic-Pitch-Shifter/dp/B00LXMN740/ If you know how to explain it to him then it's probably better you telling him than me -

@@PinKushin Idk what else to tell you, the pedal works as a standalone. It's on amazon so you can return it if you don't like it. -

Stark_Knight replied to Rodman's topic in Rocksmith Championship
@@PinKushin All you need is a standard M to M guitar cable, the detune pedal, and the rocksmith cable. The pedal itself is what changes the tuning so you don't need anything else to go with it. All you need to do to set it up is have the standard guitar cable as the IN on the pedal and put the rocksmith cable as the OUT to go to your computer or whatever you play on. Side note: It does also require power to use so you may need an extension cord since the one it comes with is pretty small. -

@@PinKushin If you don't like to detune your guitar then I highly recommend you invest in one of these https://www.amazon.com/DigiTech-Polyphonic-Bundle-Instrument-Polishing/dp/B00U830TH8 I use it for every non-standard song and it works like a charm. -

Once again doing a bit of a participation. Good news though is that everything seems to be back to normal so next week or the one after I'll be back to full participation. Steam also still doesn't work right for me but luckily I can take pictures with geforce experience. Note detection doesn't work well for me so I'm just gonna take the participation award Not part of the official challenges this week but its always fun to play pantera
