Gonna be out of town the rest of the week so I tried my best to get in a decent score. Of all times Geforce experience decided to not screen capture so I had to take a picture of my screen.

No matter what I do I can't seem to get those bends at the end so this seems to be the max I can get for now

This is probably one of my favorite weeks in a long time No clue why both numbers don't say 94%

Once again a bit late to the party but I'm really loving prog-week. Although that probably means I have an advantage this week because it's some of my favorite music to play and I'm used to playing 10+ minute songs.

A surprisingly difficult song Missing a lot of notes at the very end, my guitar seems to hate picking up notes above the 17th fret on high e. Could probably make up a percentage point from that alone.

Back from my vacation so I at least can get a semi participation trophy this week

Last post before my vacation. Have a spare guitar at the parents house so hopefully I'll be able to try and participate again in 2 weeks or so

Digging this weeks mc song. Gonna try participating a bit more this week before I go on a 2 week hiatus for a vacation.

Reckon with just a little practice I should be able to get it up to 95%. Most of what I'm missing seems to be the parts leading up to the solo

Busy with finals this week so hopefully I'll be able to get some more practice time in Small improvements

@@meelo I feel you, I had a hard time mastering it myself; overthinking will definitely through you off. A lot of tutorials I've seen say you should "scoop" your pick but that never really worked for me. I don't even move my hand much when doing it, instead I kind of pick the string like normal but let my thumb scrape the string. Try holding your pick where your thumb is as close as possible to the tip of it without hitting the string while playing normally. Should help you be more consistent when playing. You can also try playing Cemetery Gates, that was the song that helped me learn pinch harmonics since the notes in that song that use pinch harmonics are easier to get a result.

It's hard to learn pinch harmonics since it requires a lot of trial and error, took me a while to learn as well. One thing that might help is that like natural harmonics, pinch harmonics are location sensitive so try moving up and down the string until you find an area that works. That was a problem for me when I started trying to learn how to do it because I was picking in the wrong spot so I could never get it to work.

Really loving the songs this week, super hard but besides liking the songs in general. I personally find it to be more fun when it's difficult to play a riff instead of just stressing over not missing the same riff through out the whole song. Also surprisingly, I find the masterclass song to be a bit more difficult then the gog song which shows in my scores. I guess playing a lot of Dream Theater makes playing songs longer than 10 minutes a lot easier.

Probably gonna throw the towel in on this weeks masterclass. Even though I'm one note away from 100% I just don't enjoy playing this song and at the end of the day. Isn't that why we play in the first place, to have fun? The dream of 100% might bring me back later but for now I'm just gonna stick with this

Not a big fan of this song, personally I feel like it should be an advanced song instead of a masterclass. Will try it again soon but it irritates me because I know I can 100% this song but the guitar gods hate me and I'll randomly miss notes

Now that I'm no longer down with the sickness I was able to improve on my score a bit

Feeling a bit under the weather so hopefully I can get a better score in later. Also hope that my sickness doesn't cause me to lose track of time like last week where i should've won but I forgot what day it was and posted a score when the week was over.

First off, does anybody know why I keep getting this error? Recently I've been getting this when clicking on the songs so I've had to manually search for them. @ Sorry to disappoint you but it's looking like the 100% won't happen. Not that it's impossible to play but this song is really strict for me so I miss practically every bend. More RacerX to traumatize me and my hands

Kinda surprised at the scores, I wouldn't call this a 10 but maybe a 8 or 9 since it's really only the solo that's difficult. Little bit of practice and I was able to get most of the solo down @@MaZtoR Also, since you made this weeks post I thought I should tell you that the link for the masterclass song doesn't work for me. Had to go use the CDLC search to get it so maybe check if you can update it or just link it directly to the download page.
