  1. I'd stick with that bro, i'ts teaching you how to read sheet music on the sly.
  2. Just saying thanks too all the devs, charters and community. You have turned me onto some music I would never have discovered without you.
  3. Since the update remastered and having to run all CDLC through CFSM everytime I go on score attack my score is the only one showing up on leader tables, previous to the updates the score attack tables where populated with other peoples scores but since non. I've only played a few namely the James Bond theme, Shut up and let me go by the ting tings and I love rock and roll by Joan Jett, Is anyone else had the same issue. It's very lonely.
  4. Wow thats like playing the game upside down to me, had to work the chords out when it said F C then remembred I play with inverted strings.
  5. Sorry to highjack guys but any tips on how to post a audio file from google drive, I have file uploaded to drive but I'm have problems posting the link, it's a recording from the UCG to compare. Thanks
  6. I supose it boils down to perfection and what everyones perception of that is. I got tinnitus.
  7. Just plug your monitors into the headphone socket of the ucg, or to a mixer, I rate the sound quality on the ucg through headphones or to amp, it has a beefy sound with nice top ends and soulfull in the middle. It's 16bit also! Another trick you can do with the ucg is plug a keyboard headphone output into it and run it through guitar rig for some amazing sounds. All recoded at top quality 8bit 22khz . I tried to post this as a reply but can't work out Quote and Multiquote?
  8. I know your not a mug plum! Get a ucg102! PLEASE. And why no "half the world away"? Because I'm on it? Trying to get it synced note by note is hard. The tab dont match up. The sound quality on the Behringer is amazing. Get 1.
  9. My personnal setup is a Behringer ucg102 usb guitar input which I use with Native Instruments guitar rig5, guitar rig has 2 tape decks which record a WAV file when selected, it can be clean or with effects depending on your selection. You can record on tapedeck1, play it back and jam on top, the UCG102 works great with Rocksmith (no cable patch) and is just recognized as a sound card and can be picked up for £10 on Ebay and its a fantastic piece of kit. NI guitar rig is great , it has all the amp, effects units and preset models you could wish for and plugs into Ableton, Acid, Cubase, Pro tools and DAW's and is stand alone also. I believe the Rocksmith guitar models are based on "Amplitube" which does the same thing as Guitar rig. My personnal favourite is Guitar rig though for ease of use and layout. You just need ASIO4ALL installed, the guitar rig software and Behringer software, then Select Behringer in you Windows playback/record options, plug it in and your good to go. One thing I intend to look into is VAC virtual audio cable to see if its posible to take the audio stream from Rocksmith to a DAW or even windows recorder? Just putting my 2 cents worth in. Have a search.
  10. Just loving this thread, @@Absolution had it with the midi merge, or track merge regarding each string having a different midi track. As for track and channel, if your midi device is multi-timbral it means it has 16 midi channels that it can receive data from your chosen sequencer, you can have a different voice (tone) on each channel of your keyboard. You could be playing track one on your sequencer but this can be routed to anyone of the 16 channels on your keyboard producing a different voice (noise) on each channel. Good keyboards and Daws (Sequencers) talk to each other these days but it still goes back to the good old days. Also the sustains could do with quantizing, when you mentioned about there being more than six notes on screen, that's because the sustain notes are having a Leo affect I think.
  11. I get my drink on, I get my smoke on, and hammer the cdlc until my fingers hurt. Let the good times roll and the fingers stroll. Learn a song mostly. All of them.
  12. Try the Rocksmith tab-explorer mate; it's all broken down into intro, verse, ect. You need Microsoft .net framework for it to run but it's worth it; It's a great tool. You can find it on this site.
  13. That's shit mate, you've got eyes in Leeds.
