Maztor is correct, that is the simplest solution. You can also DL Custom Forge Song Manager and change the App ID of all the CDLC you download to an ID of a DLC you already own. It is under the Custom Mods drop down on the Song Manager tab. Should be the first drop down option.

Might have to do with the custom tones, when you add effects to the signal chain in RS the volume tends to drop. Since I play bass I tend to just swap to a clean tone any time that happens, if your playing guitar you may want to create a custom tone with only distortion. I haven't found the signal degrades too much with only 1 or 2 effects in the chain but any more than that and the volume degrades fast unless you use CFSM to boost the signal through the arrangements tab. You may also try to calibrate and only turn your instrument volume up around half way, that can help occasionally though not as much as creating a shorter signal chain (if your computer is running 100% volume on the RS cable more signal from your instrument will only cause compression not an increase in volume, almost like a tube amp.)

I'm only doing IM this week, Supercell is way to hard to read with how far away the camera is and I wasn't having fun trying to learn it.

I got a 99% lol. Somehow not picking up the bass for 3 weeks straight didn't put me back at beginner level like I thought it would. I would even venture to say I'm somehow a little better lol. @@meelo That's a C#m 2nd inversion if the G# is the root note. Inversions just give a cord a different texture.

I went to work way to fast, that didn't work out. Back started killing me within the first hour. Still going to be back within 2 weeks, might have to play sitting down for a while though. Why do basses have to be so heavy! lol Oh and thanks for the diehard badge, I wasn't being serious about the special treatment though so if I haven't played consistently enough feel free to remove it. I do wonder why winner badges don't stay on your profile though. I really wanted to have all the bass badges show up under my User's Awards. Maybe a monochrome badge for previous champions?

hey guys, I fell off a roof and broke my right wrist last week so I'm going to be out of the Championship for a while. I already have Cars DL'd and have almost gotten 100% so it sucks that this happened now but whatever, when it rains, it pours. Truck breaks down and I break my wrist in the same Fing week. Good luck to everyone and have fun. I'll be back in a couple weeks, probably with no skills left. Two questions, how many weeks do I need to compete in a row to get the die hard badge and can I get special treatment since I broke my wrist lol?

Got a bit better score but RS was acting weird tonight and not registering notes sometimes. I got aggravated and stopped grinding pretty fast. This next one has nothing to do with the Championship but I'm so happy I got through with 99% I'm posting anyway. If anyone knows what difficulty this would be let me know. My hand hurts from this one so it's right at my maximum.

@@meelo So that's what the big X means, thought so. You can replace those with a single string mute and it still registers if you don't want to rake over 2 strings. I need to relax more through that part to get the 100%.

I'm so mad right now. I had 100% but that bit at the end that has no notes for bass, even though the bass is still playing, made me miss a note because it has the patterns backward. It has the short B in the long B spot. GDMFPOS ARGGGGGG! Now I'm stuck with 99% instead of 100 because of one miss. I should be playing score attack, I'd have had 99.99% DAHHHH! Screw it I'll play score attack tomorrow and get the 100% or at least a higher 99%. 716 note streak out of like 750 total notes. Though the arrangement analyzer says there are 916 total notes. *Luke yelling "that's impossible!" gif* What? I'm so confused. There is no way this song has 916 notes I legitimately only missed 1 and it was right at the end.

I'm confused how that would allow me to virtually detune? edit 1: oh and I don't have to worry about hearing the strings ring out, I use headphones. so glad I do too because I play with my action pretty low and might hear fret buzz if I didn't. Fret buzz drives me nuts but a 1/2in high action is impossible to play quickly. edit 2: actually my setups pretty good, no fret buzz when fingerpicking unless I strike the string incorrectly. edit 3: just add me on steam if you have it or PM me. Also I will be skipping this week, I don't play non standard tuning, too floppy with my D'addario super lights, RS doesn't like it and neither do I. One question, shouldn't the Leo covers be labeled as Frog Leap Studios? I'm not sure what he publishes them under so I'm probably wrong but curious.
