  1. Four weeks of Alestorm....that should be fun!
  2. What a fine score @ Rodman , I don't think I can beat it.
  3. A good song to practice my above the 12th fret work I'd rate this a 7, but maybe it gets way easier with a few more plays
  4. getting better https://i.imgur.com/DjLee5a.jpg
  5. Getting to some of the other songs some improvement here and here I feel like my bends register way better using an audio interface than they ever did with the RT cable.
  6. I'm laying down the Louie Louie master mode challenge. Who will join me?
  7. Time for the walk down memory lane with rhythm. I struggled with Louie Louie in week 250, I got so frustrated trying to get a better score I even played it in mastermode for a change of pace. My best was 96.38%, I beat that this time. Wow...Hazy Shade, I remember this one seemed unplayable. 73% is the best I had. Now I can hang with it. The best I had on Louie Louie on lead was 94.89%. Better now, but I still have work to do on it! Help! was out of my league, I had a best of 88.79%. Instantly beat that! Loved Wind of Change, but not good at it. 83% back then. My first play today beat that. I think I broke 90% on it too, but I don't seem to have that screenshot uploaded. Too much fun! Rock!
  8. Just a housekeeping note, It is best practice to make it a new post for improved scores. Editing posts to add scores makes entering the scores into the leaderboard spreadsheet difficult as we tend to not go back and review posts. Edited posts often get get missed. Just an FYI, ho harm, no foul this time! Nicely done on your first entry, and glad to have you with us!
  9. Emulated bass works pretty well in RS. But it will make you buy a bass!
  10. Ah, this is fun...week 250 I was in beginner bass. Got 100% on this one. Here it is in SA today. Got 99% last time, 100% this time. 94.6% was all I could do on the Intermediate song. 100% today. Didn't even submit a score on Europa, 86% was my best and in SA I couldn't make it through. Now 98%. Rodman is right, the Championships are good for you! It is fun to see the progress from 3 years ago.
  11. You got it, I changed the score sheet. Welcome to the next level!
  12. Bass is a good place to start! I remember Louie Louie giving me fits, keep at it!
  13. So he did...the sheet didn't auto sort correctly. Updated, thanks!
  14. Trust me, my playing isn't at that level yet either. That was with a weeks worth of work, and it could use another week! The idea is to work on it and record it, not perfect it. The idea was borne out of the desire to learn songs we can play without Rocksmith. Those videos, yes the ones you are talking about with family singing, we have probably gotten out of hand with occasionally I have probably erred too far into mixing and editing to cover my lack of ability. I took a class in mixing and was playing with what I had learned. I hope that doesn't keep people from trying, the idea it to encourage each other.

  16. I did, but I always have a struggle getting the song down unless I transition to paper. Rodman and I both tend to transition to tabs from one of the tab sites to memorize from. Plus they are often a bit more stripped down. You are welcome to join us in out little challenge. I know Rodman is going to ask me what song we are doing next, so I gotta figure one out.
  17. @ Rodman Rather than draw things out another week, here is my weeks worth of work on Layla. I don't feel like I played it on this guitar enough, and it handles differently than my electric, so this is a good challenge for me. I may try to stick to acoustic for a while and work on getting cleaner sounds. I don't feel like the cell phone mic does justice to the sound of the guitar however.
  18. I think you hit space bar at the main menu and the bottom option if I remember correctly is statistics or something. It isn't through Uplay. It tells you your most played artist and some fun things like that.
  19. And, sad day, my Rocksmith playing streak has come to an end. Something messed up switching from my main PC to my travel rig and my streak is broken.
