  1. Just tried updating my Mono framework from 4.8.x to 5.0.x, and everything still seems to work :)
  2. How is the difficulty calculated? If I sort by difficulty, crazy things like In Flames and Dream Theater show up somewhere between Angela and Blitzkrieg Bop... Is it a number set somewhere? Is it calculated from the number of notes? Does DD play a facotr?
  3. Mouse still works for me on the latest beta - can point AND click
  4. Another new beta appears: https://www.reddit.com/r/rocksmith/comments/5n063t/new_public_beta_test_pcmac_crashes/ CDLC and no cable still working on Mac version
  5. Does your GNR CDLC end in _m.psarc or _p.psarc?
  6. > However, the last two versions posted (Jan. 5 and Dec. 14) have other bugs that prevent them from working. The second Dec 14th build and today's work for me, but no mac builds previous to those did
  7. https://www.reddit.com/r/rocksmith/comments/5kmkqm/pcmac_players_help_betatest_two_fixes/ On Mac, CDLC and the "aggregate audio device named Rocksmith USB Adapter" still work :+1:
  8. Something about a Green Day song with lyrics railing against consumerism being censored in order to make it a more marketable microtransaction in a video game just feels incredibly wrong to me... not only does it lessen the enjoyment of playing the song, it just leaves me feeling empty and depressed in general. I was thinking I was going to figure out how to unpack it, put in the original audio and lyrics, and repack it up. (And any other censored songs I come across..) Would I be allowed to post patches? Only people that already had the DLC would be able to use it, it would just modify the files in place, so it wouldn't enable piracy or any of that.
  9. Try running it from the terminal: /Applications/RocksmithCustomSongToolkit.app/Contents/MacOS/RocksmithCustomSongToolkit If the error says something about the app path not being found, then you may have hit this error I reported yesterday: https://github.com/rscustom/rocksmith-custom-song-toolkit/issues/275
  10. On Mac: - Revalidated game content through Steam, then reapplied the patch - CDLC still works perfect - Using an Apogee Jam through an Aggregate Audio Device still works (as the realtone, not the new disconnected mode) - And this might be the placebo effect, but the calibration improvements seem to be helping it too Happy with the update!
  11. Try this - http://www.filedropper.com/rspatcherapp_1 Download it, unzip, drop your rocksmith app on top of it
  12. - Yep, the new way works fine - RSInjector is 100% dead, will never work again. - But that's okay, because the new way works with the steam overlay :) ...but that only works with pre-converted psarcs; I've never got CF Song Manager to work (even in a VM) If you DO get any good customs converted, send them my way! :p
  13. Well, I always set max override to 100% - not that I'm great, but I'd rather slog through the Riff Repeater at 10% speed playing the real song than nail an "easy' version. I've never had any luck with the toolkit... Can't get it installed on Mac, and running both the last stable and beta toolkits in a VM to try and convert seems to mangle the CDLCs - slides turn into just notes, chords get messed up, etc... I'd rather just find ones that already end with "_m.psarc" and work :D Those look sweet! Maybe I'll have to try this conversion thing again...
  14. There's a massive amount of CDLC out there... but I'm wondering if there's some recommendations for ones that: - Work in the current version of RM2014 Remastered (as of the Nov 6th patch) - Without the 100% bug - Have a Mac version - Are at least as good as official DLC quality - ..or better - maybe made from multitracks instead of the just the stereo - Only care about lead guitar part - Don't care about dynamic difficulty - Any genre - punk, rock, metal, jazz
