Ah man, that´s sad to read. We want nobody to get discouraged! And no - organisation is surely not here to favor a certain clique. The posting time has not changed over 8 years... its always within hours, and it will not be set to a certain timepoint for practicability. There is no point in not posting scores that you did - cause spirit of the competition is to improve over the week and see players improve. 5 Years ago i personally had a classmate or opponent who would post his winning score once in a week 30mins before new weekstart - so with litterally no time to fight back ... that´s not in the spirit of our friendly contest really. I encourage everyone to post any achieved score and eventually improve.
I can assure you that everything is calculated correctly in the 10-week leaderboards. Please pm me the issue or post here and i will check on that specifficaly. It really would be a bad thing if your participations rate would drop for disagreements with the organisation.
Rock!
Rod.I never mentioned posting times. I have never waited until the last minute to post. Why is is that if someone says something, the few take it out of context? What was said is that there were scores not posted correctly. I had mentioned this weeks and weeks earlier. Shall I pull this up and re-post, to refresh memories? Ya'll (select few) are out to make this more than this is, f@@& it!!! Really annoyed at all the bs. It ain't real till you have played live in concert!!!!

I kinda agree, but you PLAYERS need to post your scores. There's no 'silent majority' here, only participants and spectators. Most people only post scores for their class, so it looks like stuff gets unplayed. Especially the unlisted arrangements.
Also the selection list is not made of rubber, and rating a song properly takes time and effort. This makes it hard for me to blame someone for not wanting to waste arrangements.
I understand all that's involved with selecting songs and rating them. Yes it does take time and a lot of effort! Credit to all who are involved with those things!!! That doesn't mean I have to play or post a song. I have been discouraged from the past postings of songs, some had won first place, while others where 2-4, and my score did not change in the player rankings. If you need weeks I'll be glad to show you, I have them all saved. I even asked to be bumped up to the next level of player, cause I was feeling guilty about staying in a level, and winning occasionally. I'm not here to win, but to learn, and enjoy playing all types music. There seems to be a click here of just a few, instead of a majority. So hence the discouragement. I'm a handy-capped player as well. But I will never use that as an excuse. And just so you know I have played every single weeks songs, even if I did not post them. Maybe thinking I would have time later on in the week to improve the score, and bam its late Saturday afternoon and to late, like today. I enjoy this competition it inspires me, wife hates it when I spend time playing. I have enjoyed all of this weeks arrangements and have not wasted one! Maybe I'll post and maybe not.

I see all these leaderboard posts as wrong and yes they are.. I've been at 50 points forever and won the other week and went down a point and two weeks before that, won and no change (it was the 10 week post too). I can post them if Ya'll wanna see them. But I personally don't care. Last week I asked Ya'll to bump me up a level and that didn't happen, I've been a rookie for ever LOL! Figured Ya'll would be glad to see me go up a level. These peeps who do this, do it voluntarily, and much credit is due them! I truly enjoy this Comp... It inspires me! Scores don't matter to me, I can tell if I played it well or not. But I can see those at the top rankings, it can matter. I wasn't injured years ago, and now I am. But that doesn't matter either. Music is like part of a persons soul, or at least for me it is... I just wanna play!! Think I'm starting to find myself again Thanks!!!
First time playing this.

Funny, reminds me of this:
@ Anitomer If you want online troubleshooting from people on the internet you need to provide more info, like:
1. Have you looked at the pins of the usb plug of the cable? I once had an usb-thingy where in the plug itself the plastic broke off and the pins got bent. It fried the usb port.
2. Have you tried different usb ports on your computer?
3. Did you change the place where you plug in your computer into the wall recently? Is the electrical outlet grounded properly?
4. SpankNass says that this only happened when he/she was using a battery powered guitar. Are your pickups active or passive? If active, does removing the battery from the guitar stop the shocking?
5. When plugged into an amp, do you get a lot of noise/buzz when not playing? Or maybe when touching the bridge, or the pots, or anything metal on the guitar? If so, it might suggest a grounding issue in the guitar itself.
DISCLAIMER: I am not an electrical engineer nor a guitar tech. I do not know anything about anything. Still, it's a interesting problem (the MOST electric guitar), so pls let me know if you find the cause of this.
Ok that video was Funny then boring LOL!
The shocking I felt was more like a 9v battery when I rested my forearm across the strings. Not a 110v or more he heeee!! Ever test a little battery with your tongue ( if you haven't try it someday, LOL its shocking!) ? That kinda shocking feeling. No weird noise's while playing it, or not playing, just in case anyone would ask... Cable worked fine.

HELP NEEDED
idk where else to post this, when i plug in my realtone cable (not official one, but its the one i played with for the last year and never gave me probelm) I get electric shock from my strings (not on my fingers but when i touch my forearm on them are any other part). When i plug my guitar to the amp with with a normal cable this doesnt happen. Anyone has any experience with this? I oredered a new cable anyway but it will only come in 2 weeks.
Yeah Shocking Right? LOL My actual RS cable would do that to my forearm as well. But only on my battery assisted Ibanez bass and not my Fender bass. Haven't really noticed since I dropped the cable and got the Focusrite set up.

You are right though, need to plug into a big amp and crank it up sometimes. I spent alot of years on technique, playing unplugged or through headphones. Then when I plugged in and turned it up, oh my you can here ever tiny error, its a real kick in the teeth .lol
I've struggled with getting the right sound for years. I used to put a "Y" connection on my guitar one would be my rocksmith cable to pc the other to my amp. Headphone audio jack out of pc to my amp. I can really crank up the songs that way. And in the mixer turn up my guitar to 100% and music down. But I was never really happy other than cranking it up. I could also change my guitar sound with my amp during the process. Always seemed to have lag from game. No matter if 2 latency or 1 or 0 or 4, lag in game settings from 0 to whatever. Lag always seemed to be either hit note early, (ex. hit E string just before note gets to string) or it was to late, or higher lag setting in game, which really makes sight reading and play suck. Experimenting with a new audio interface, and lag seems to be gone (since no Realtone Cable). But my output is not connected to a PA yet, just studio speakers. So I'm missing my loud at the moment. Repeating the same sound from the original artist is key, and most songs are off....

This is the first song I have screenshot since I have put a Focusrite 2i2 3rd gen., Audio Interface into my setup. It only took 4 days, lots of helpless You tube vids! Finally figured it out on my own with lots of trial and error. But works great!!! The lag I had experienced with just the game, is now gone. Think I'm really going to like this setup! First time ever hearing or playing this song.....

Yes I know it was honest. But when I questioned it no one was on it. Or even replied. I was thinking because I did not move up a level when I was asked, is why. So I moved up. I wasn't ready to move up but did because my scores never improved from then on. I'm tired of this bs, just gonna play. and enjoy all music as I did before!
