  1. As long as you don't click on the adds there's nothing to worry about. As far as I know, any hosting site that doesn't require you to register with to download is acceptable.

I'd love to see Repo! The Genetic Opera added at some point, but as far as I know, bass tabs are non-existent for it :(
  3. I have several charts that I've been working on that suffer from one of two issues. The first is that when I stop on one of these specific songs in the scroll list, the game freezes and I have to shut it down with the task manager. The second is a tuning issue with B standard. The tuning issue in B standard seems to be a common one with some charts as my 5 string will tune for some, but not others. I don't think this is a problem with EoF as far as the freezing is concerned as I didn't change any settings between songs that I did at the same time, and those other songs work just fine. Any help would be appreciated.
  4. Big update today! Charts added to OP. More are on the way once I figure out the cause of issues with freezing on the song list when stopped on them, and refusing to tune properly.
  5. Just realized that YouTube blocked the vid I posted earlier so lets see if this works. http://sendvid.com/penvolnj
  6. @@manchot66 Duncan Hills is Drop D, I did the bassline for the database.
  7. @@manchot66 Just checked out that website for Dean guitars you posted, I'm thinking for the price I might just save a little longer and get a custom build. Would be nice to have it set up for heavy strings off the bat rather than ordering a bass, then having to take it to a shop to have the work done for it to fit the telephone cables I want for low tuning lol. Figure I can have my Yamaha setup for E Standard, have the dean set up for B Standard, then find another few pawn shop bargains for D and C Standard. I'm gonna need to set up some racks on my wall lol.
  8. Actually I wasn't aware that there was one. Is it part of the standardized labeling thread or something different altogether? Also, since me and EOF aren't getting along right now, I went ahead and uploaded all the GP exercise files I found in 1 sorted folder on my Google Drive. The link is Tab Files for anyone that wants to have a look. I'm pretty sure there's some in there that don't really need to be, I know some of the files in the guitar+bass file don't really have much on the bass, I just threw them in since there was a bass and guitar track. Something very interesting piqued my interest while I was going through those files. It is a set of 2 files that show the right and wrong way to play a chord. This has me wondering if there's a way that we can label chords in RS to show an easier fingering pattern than what some of the ones that pop up are. I know I've seen 1 or 2 that I'm not even sure could be played with 7 fingers. This also reminded me of a post on the Ubisoft boards a while back in that halsb mentioned that he used some different finger patterns for some chords than what RS suggests. He didn't go into detail about it, the reference just popped into my mind when I was pondering this.
  9. It's perfect as far as I can tell, one of my favorites to play! I usually warm up with it or Gott Mit Uns.
  10. I think I might have broke the gate this time :D Still some room for improvement though, I haven't been practicing as much as I should the last few days. I should really use my insomnia to my advantage and practice during the day and chart at night. http://s28.postimg.org/5iw8l5n2l/20160402145118_1.jpg And since I wanted to see how well overclocking my GPU worked out: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VoX85lY3fns
  11. Wish we had that weather. We're gonna have a hot dry summer here. I guess at least my lawn will go brown and get me out of mowing.
  12. Oh hell yea, my song pick for intermediate bass this week :D
  13. @@manchot66 On the back of the headstock mine says "Made in China" and "Inspected and Adjusted in the USA" Mine is one of the low end ones, I found it in a pawn shop for $100 after I negotiated for a $30 discount plus a strap. I have a little Line 6 Spider 3 30w 12" amp that I use with it, and it gets a very good clean sound before you start adding affects to it. I use a Kustom K100 100w amp with my Yamaha RBX260 bass, and it gets a great clean sound as well. I'm just not a fan of the demonator body style that the majority of bass guitars you see in shops have. The local shop here doesn't even offer other body styles for bass at all. Hell, last time I was in there they only had 3 warlock, 3 flying-v, and 2 explorer body styles for guitars, everything else is les paul. I'm getting lucky with the Metalman, I can order it through Walmart, and since my mom works there, I can get 10% off :D
  14. You can't go wrong with a Dean. I have a Dean ML X (the body style Dimebag Darrell made famous), and I love it, even in spite of the fact that I can't play it to save my life lol. I've been eyeballing a Dean Metalman 2A Z bass for a while now, I love the explorer body style.
  15. I got to thinking about the labeling system idea you had while I was sorting through tutorials, and the idea occurred to me that it might make more sense if we standardized with the artist name starting with "ZZZZ" since virtually no band, that I'm aware of, starts their name with that. This would also make for quick access since you could just jump straight to the bottom of the list and have all your tutorials lined out for you.
  16. I have just finished sorting the exercises/lessons that came in the massive tab download I found, and I have a little over 400 lessons to chart. This is gonna get interesting.
  17. These are the exercises and lessons I've located in the database, in the random order that I found them. I'll be sorting them out so that they'll be organized when I put them in their respective categories. I also came across a ton of exercise/lesson tabs, so I'll be adding those as time allows for me to chart them. 18. This is everything I currently have in the project folder, minus all the extra crap that Wwise makes along with the WEM file. https://drive.google.com/folderview?id=0B5fahI5VEWpbMkhkbXYwOUlhbzg&usp=sharing
  19. These are the links for the original mp3 and tab that I'm working with. https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B5fahI5VEWpbcm93Y01ONGdBZGc/view?usp=sharing https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B5fahI5VEWpbbVNQNXhHOVpfNE0/view?usp=sharing
  20. Sorry for the double post, but I just wanted to add that I'm going through about 95k tabs I nabbed off of TPB, and I just stumbled upon a TON of exercises/lessons for both bass and guitar :D
  21. I went ahead and set up a lessons group last night. I would have some of the links up already, but I'm dealing with trying to get rid of a particularly stubborn adware program right now.
  22. Still isn't working. When it cuts out, there's still a few notes left to be played.
  23. I restarted from scratch and the problem is still there. The audio gets cut early, and in EOF the red line is after the finish of the audio.
  24. The notes and audio are synced, but for some reason the game exits the song with 2-3 measures to go. I attempted to use Reaper to add a few seconds of silence to the end of the song, but it didn't work. Has this happened to any of y'all before?
