Rocksmith 2014 Championship Week 467

I think I also had a bad note recognition on this CDLC. And not only in the arpeggios, but even the power chords registered worse than usual. -

Rocksmith 2014 Championship Week 467
Mikson replied to jellisjenius's topic in Rocksmith Championship
I came back from Hungary and had some time to quickly test some Lead and Rhythm. Really nice old song. Diff 6 is ok. Poor recognition here, but I think it's a difficult advanced (7.5). Rhythm This is 6, same difficulty level as in the Lead path. Advanced IMO. This is a 7 and I think it could be used as the master class song that is missing. So @ jellisjenius I think it would be better to move Bread song to advanced and Candlebox to masterclass instead of creating an intermediate class bonus and no masterclass. @ Rodman what do you think, I can see you tested it? -
I'm going away for a few days, so these are my final scores this week.

Lead+ Rhythm I guess I rated this a bit too high before. 4, maybe 3.5. @ cacahuate51 100%!? So GG this week I used to really dislike playing this song in RS. I had problems with feeling the notes. Now I played it for the first time in a very long time and I don't think it is that difficult, but it's hard to get a good score in RS.

I'm not sure you understood @ Rodman request right. EVERYONE can add suggestions for songs to be played in the championship (Song Selection sheet is open for everyone). So any suggestions are welcome. You don't need to submit ratings for Bass if you can't test this path for CDLC. And Rodman's request was to find people who could create a new championship week (what I did this week).

Apart from Dayglow, these are quite old screenshots from the CDLC tests a few months ago. This would be a beginner if it weren't for those stretched chords. An interesting band with demanding arrangements, both guitar (this is the only CDLC with guitar) and bass.

This week is over, thanks for competing! New championship week started here: @ cacahuate51 I've already added a new week before you posted the second post with scores, so I didn't include them.

Thanks for beating me minutes before the week end. Apparently I wasn't fast enough to create a new week haha!

I'm losing a bit from recognition so I could improve it, but it won't help because @ avastreg score is from a different galaxy

Better Lead Rhythm

I think anything above 4.5 will be ok.
-
Start Easy enough, this could even be a beginner. I tested this song a long time ago and gave it a 6 and I think it's an ok rating. Some technical chords playing. (Old screen) 6-6.5 Easy, easy, easy and solo! So 8 is ok.
-
Octaves may not be difficult if we hit them in a streak on eg 3-5 frets. They can also be difficult if the frets change quickly. Here I meant that part, but maybe you are right that it is not too difficult. Just when I played it a few times, I always got misses there.
-
That's why I rated it 6. I don't know why @ nlbsmglsk lowered rating to 4.5, because it's definitely too low. It doesn't change much, because it's still intermediate class. There used to be a discussion here on how to rate the difficulty of a song and the conclusion was to rate by the hardest part of a song. So there are easy verses in Fire (beginner level), but this alternating A and G string picking in the chorus raises the difficulty rating in my opinion.

Bass This looks bugged, I haven't paused or rolled back the chart. Really nice on all paths. Bass too.
