I don't know, I didn't feel a strong out of sync here. Maybe because it's too fast for me and I didn't really know what I was playing. Anyway, sorry for choosing such a CDLC. I think it's fun to play, anyway.

Yes, I know the bass chart of Dragonforce song isn't of the highest quality, and I also wish there were notes in bridge (I searched but couldn't find tabs to improve this), but for most of the song, I felt this was playable. I checked this other DragonForce song unavailable on Ignition and chart is ok but also has imperfections like obscured notes (screen). But most of all, this is too easy for advanced class, in my opinion this is max 6. I won't change it for now, unless someone else supports such an idea (but not too late). It's a pity you can't play this week because I tested a good bass only CDLC that I could replace but I don't want to take away your chance to play.

Winter has come! So I decided to create a special week with songs with winter in the title. In the beginner class, a calm song, but above it's only heavier playing I was a bit unsure about the difficulty rating of some of the rhythm and bass paths. This is mainly for the Bling Guardian song, which I find to be generally intermediate on rhythm and bass, but these paths have one more difficult short section, which is why I added a 0.5 to the ratings. Dragonforce song is an incredibly fast ride in lead path! The main lead path contains some unplayable notes (probably not that important for the overall score), so I allow playing an alternate lead that is on a similar difficulty level. Play freely! For the bass, this song can be a bit boring and it's pretty easy to achieve 99% by long streaks of the same notes, but it does have some quick technical transitions so this is an advanced level. On the other hand, Dream Theater's song is really nice for the bass! And it's really worth playing a Heidevolk song for fun. I suppose not many people know this band and this song has a nice chart and vocals. That's all!

@ jellisjenius Ah good scores, Driving Home For Christmas is not easy to do 100%. Also, I thought that my 99% on the Twisted Sister song might be enough to win, because due to the smaller amount of notes and a lot of slides, it's easy to lose % there. But I see you only made 1 miss so congrats on your win My last scores for X-mas week: I had to play this magic song again! Merry Christmas everyone! Exactly, which is why I still think it's more of a masterclass. For me, this is rather the best score I can achieve. 90% out of my reach.

Little better Lead And some Rhythm

@ Rodman Sorry to be a nuisance this week, but yeah, I was just playing a Ventures song on Rhythm and saw this (screens). I don't know how this is a beginner. I can't play this chords . Unless we consider these chords wrong and don't count them, because C7 in this form seems impossible to play if you don't have 6 fingers .

That's why I initially rated this a 6. When I create CDLC I thought it wouldn't be difficult, but these quick chord changes like this turned out to be more difficult than I thought. Rhythm chords, although some unusual ones, are not difficult, because it is quite easy to change fingers when changing chords and there is more time for it.

For me this is 7.5-8, a bit too hard riffs for me. And this is Christmas nightmare...

Yes, I think whoever plays these two songs will have the same opinion about the difficulty ratings.

Thanks for the explanation! Yes, I agree that % accuracy in Rocksmith doesn't always reflect the difficulty of a song, if only because of the large number of easy notes that increase the score. As for the above, I only disagree that the Halestorm song is a good example of promotion to the advanced class. But this could best be said by someone competing in this class, for example @ kayteck .

@ Rodman I don't quite understand your approach to difficulty rating. Here's a good example. On Halestorm you get 99% on the first attempt, and on Eagles you barely get 86% in 3 attempts, and yet you think it's the same level of difficulty .

As for Driving Home, I can agree, intermediate or easy advanced. As for the Eagles vs Halestorm on Rhythm path, no way!

I'll start with the Driving Home For Christmas, which I played earlier during the CDLC test.

Thanks for adding Driving Home For Christmas to the selection! This is my favorite Christmas song. In my opinion, the Lead path is a bit more difficult (5.5-6), than Rhythm due to the chordal riffs. Could you change this to an advanced bonus instead of an intermediate one? There is more competition in the advanced class, so it's good to have an extra track. As for the Halestorm song, don't you think it's an 8? I played it once and thought this was more for masterclass, time to play it again. Also, for me, the Eagles song is definitely harder on Rhythm path (includes arpeggios) than Halestorm (basic chords only). Surprised that you rated a song with arpeggios so low .

Guitar improvements A really hard fight to recognize bends in the final solo ended in failure. Satisfied with achieving 90% and that's it. Happy with this result. It's hard to achieve more. @ jellisjenius Change difficulty rating of the Supertramp song to 9, it more accurately reflects the difficulty of this song based on the scores.

Rhythm Tones is no good here, and and I have a feeling that recognition is bad too. I played Supertramp once during songs test, but I had such a bad score (somehow 70+) that I didn't even make a screenshot, and I don't want to suffer again playing these weird chords
