Bass Ok, I tested this and this is indeed a 5.5, maybe even a 6, but only because we have such super fast slides here. It is difficult to recognize this, which spoils the overall accuracy, because the rest of the chart is max 5. I'm bad at playing high frets on the bass, arrangement of the frets is a bit different than on the guitar, so I can't feel it.

Of course, then this could even be a beginner level! How one note can mess up.

I don't quite understand what you mean, we changed bass rating scale (1-4, 5-6, 7-8, 8-9), but rhythm stayed the same as lead. I think most of the last few weeks have been done by hand, so there was no problem of too low diff ratings. I think for the advanced we should start with 6.5 (we can use 6 in exceptional situations, for the sake of less songs with difficult bass), but we shouldn't go below this limit. I will check out these songs for bass today and share my feedback about the difficulty.

I suppose if you select songs via RNG, you start with the Lead path and adjust the rest by difficulty ratings. It's a bit unfair to Bass players who get a poorer selection in terms of diff ratings. Overall very unlikely to get good picks for all paths on the first RNG draw unless you redraw multiple times until successful.

Lead I don't understand at all what is the sense of this? Instead of blue 7 just play orange 2 and the song becomes much easier (max 4 diff).

I doubt @ Rodman will change that, so you're doomed to play Steel Panther.

@ Rodman I know it's hard to make a good selection that fits all paths in terms of difficulty ratings. However, these difficulty ratings in the bass path are very stretched. 5.5 for advanced and 10 for masterclass? Why didn't you choose a song from sheet only bass songs with a rating in the range of 7.5-9?

Lead An interesting band that I discovered through Spotify. Not a very difficult chart, but not easy to get a high score here. Not my style but it was a good run. Delayed screenshot, will try again.

@ nlbsmglsk Looks like you assigned @ LuZifeR to the advanced class in rhythm. Last week it was determined that he would compete in the masterclass in the rhythm and bass paths and remain in the advanced class for the lead path. Second page of last week's topic if you want to check.

Bass time. This is above beginner level in my opinion. A few quick jumps to the high frets and a few riffs there (5-5.5). Fun chart.

Yes, that was the first attempt, and now the second: Now Luzifer's score doesn't impress me that much, but it's still unachievable for me

@ Rodman I tested this and this is a clearly 6 for me. The main riff isn't particularly difficult, I had more problems with transition from riff to chords. In the past we played songs rated 7 that include challenging solo, and there's no solo here. If this is harder than 6 for you, this might be 6.5. Songs from other classes. Old screenshots for the two below. This made me a little tired. A difficult chart to play sightread.

It's fair to me. Lead is the hardest in theory, so you can stay in the advanced class for now, and rhythm and bass as a masterclass.

Wow 99.82% in a song rated 7 (max difficulty for advanced) according to the rules looks like a level up to the masterclass (if the rating is correct, i haven't played this song yet). Unless you really don't want to (I know that competing with BottledPat is not pleasant ) and the other rivals from the advanced class will agree. As for the rhythm and bass path, you are not assigned to any class (you have not published scores before). What classes do you want to be in?
