  1. 15 degrees and rain definitely cooled down the summer week, but I managed to achieve a good score attack in lead.
  2. Bass This is B-Std, but I recommend to try it, good chart and really challenging in some parts.
  3. Rhythm CDLC removed from Ignition but I had them in my collection. Strange fact - lead path is available here, but named as alternate rhythm.
  4. From testing Fun song, i played this several times. Original CDLC - slides destroyed me of course. New CDLC with changes. Another fun song that hooked me. Short but I like the combination of a slow first half and a fast, powerful second half. I forgot to take a screenshot the first time. Overall an easy song except for the solo, I think it could also be a 5.5. Relatively easy Satriani song considering some of his crazy previous charts.
  5. This song caught my ear too, so if you want you can remake this CDLC according to your suggestions, I'd love to play it. I didn't have time for major changes myself, so I mainly changed slides at the end. We generally rate by the most difficult part of the chart. At first I chose 311 as intermediate, but then I found that solo in this song to be more difficult and deserves a 6. Solo in Me First and the Gimme Gimmes song is easier, but there are some tricky licks before that, which can actually lower the final accuracy. I think I played this with the 1st and 3rd fingers, and added 4th to the note 2 frets away (G9, I think). I played this once so I may not have played exactly right. We played this in week 437 as a masterclass with a diff rating 8. Now I played again and found it more like a 7.5 but left the old rating. . Besides, it's hard to find difficult bass charts.
  6. Yes, please add a screenshot with visible accuracy, because only these count in the championship. It can be from learn a song or score attack (hard). Details in the rules link.
  7. This week is over, thanks for competing! New championship week started here:
  8. Summer has started so it's time for the second summer week in the championship! The first one took place almost two years ago here: Who remembers? I tested a lot of songs and managed to choose a few that are (in my opinion) fun to play and fit the right classes, and CDLC quality is good enough for championship use. Regarding the Siames song. It's an easy song until the last part with crazy slides. This part is tricky because the slides are fast and pitched. I create a modified version where I changed these slides to unpitched slides and some other minor changes. Both versions are allowed. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- And promotion thing: @ BubbleWrapDragon You achieved over 99% accuracy on the highest difficulty (5) song for the intermediate class. Do you want to be promoted to the advanced class?

  10. New championship week will start in about 2 hours!
  11. Improvements I don't feel like fighting with note recognition any longer. That's all I've achieved in lead and rhythm. 100% seems beyond my ability. GG.
  12. Bass Interesting band, haven't heard them before. I can't believe you guys are doing 100% here so easily.
  13. Rhythm Much easier than the lead path, this is not 3, rather 2/2.5. Here it's the opposite. This is certainly not easier than the lead path, and rated lower. 5 for me. More chords!
  14. Lead improvements Some problems with recognizing and feeling strumming. But I will keep fighting! Melodic death metal bands are my discovery thanks to the championships! I really started to like it!
  15. I reviewed week 503 topic and entered missing scores by hand. @ jellisjenius or @ Rodman , please update the winners list (lead and rhythm advanced class) in the first post of this topic.
  16. Just got back from the Kiss concert. What a madness! Tomorrow I will try to manually enter missing scores from previous week so that the winners list can be updated.
  17. You mean checking on this page? https://rocksmith-cf-champ-assistant.web.app/scores/503 I doubt anyone has done this before. I'll try to pay attention to that in the future.
  18. Lead Nice new version, looks much simpler than the one I played a long time ago. About intermediate. It seems to me from observing the past many weeks that songs with low tuning in the lower grades have fewer participants than normal. @ jellisjenius it's good if you added option with the E-Std version in the first post. Here is a link to the pitch shifted version: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1Q5iZVsidDn0huukb54Q6VSOZCMXdZShn?usp=sharing I already forgot that I did this CDLC, but it was about half a year ago. I played Periphery once during testing and it was a hard experience for me, so I'm letting it go.
  19. @ cacahuate51 already said last week that he didn't want to be promoted. He should win in lead path and rhythm - his score for rhythm was not recorded in the leaderboard (screen on the 1st page from the previous week topic). @ Rodman @ kayteck Does anyone control these auto-entered scores?
  20. Final improvements I took a moment (but a small one) to get to know a few parts better and turned down music volume to better hear myself playing. I still played this poorly (played with the pick full chords), but it was good enough for 90%, so I'm glad I reached my goal. Rhythm is easier, though these chords are awkward to play. Played again to achieve 90%. Bass. I changed diff rating in the sheet to 6. It's absolutely not less, and I would give it maybe even 6.5. We've played songs rated 7 here before where it was easier achieve 99.5%.
  21. @ Rodman Huh, I was afraid that this will be the first (I think?) championship week in which you will not participate. But the tradition is kept.
  22. Ok done. Btw, I noticed you're in a beginners class in rhythm and bass, so feel free to show something to get moving.
  23. Bass Not so easy beginner, I'd say 4. This is clearly 6. Absolutely no 5. Score Attack
  24. Really good, the band is in great shape and setlist was significantly different than at the concert last year. I was only hoping to be closer to the stage but the crowd was amazing and I only managed to get somewhere 1/4 of the way from the stage. Here you can clearly see (opening song - obviously not my video):
  25. I played this on the vibe of another amazing Irons concert I attended this week! Up the Irons! Bonus ODLC for the full album.
