Oh man, listening to the leaks of Simulation Theory and I can't wait to play some of these! Not that I can spare the many many hours that it would take to recreate some of these tones :P
When you have it go B - 12 A - 10 to G - 10 A - 10 near the start, shouldn't it go to a 13 on the B instead of that 10 on the G? I literally just started playing the custom for the first time and thought that was a strange thing. Yeah, something struck me as slightly weird about that, but I didn't want to mess with the tabs too much. I've got a few other minor adjustments to make to the chart, so I'll make sure to check this out as well.
Finished it! Think it turned out pretty well, but if anyone has any suggestions to improve it then please let me know. http://customsforge.com/page/customsforge_rs_2014_cdlc.html/_/pc-enabled-rs-2014-cdlc/lies-r23450
Hey guys! I haven't made a Muse custom before, but just letting you know that I've started work on making one for their cover of CHVRCHES' song Lies, so hopefully that'll be done in the next day or two :)
When I started with the game and started learning I would only DL DD customs because I actually needed the DD. Now that I'm better, I still download DD wherever I can and just whack the difficulty up to full for each song, because I still like having the bars there to show progress better and the difference in difficulty between parts. I like it when creators give an option for DD, even if it's dodgy DDC.
I played piano from the ages of about 6-15 at school... Really never got good, so gave up on that and picked up teaching myself guitar, instantly had a lot more fun and played stuff that actually sounded good. Learning to read sheet music was useful, though.
You're right, I didn't even realise I was working with two different versions of the same song. Maybe next time I'll clean up my folder structure so I don't make such a mess :P Thank you both for finding the problem!
It's not quite finished yet, but here it is: https://www.dropbox.com/s/shx0a4q9qr1afto/Yoshihisa-Hirano-and-Hideki-Taniuchi_Death-Note_v1_Test2_p.psarc?dl=0
I was testing a CDLC I made, but when I loaded it up the song started playing as soon as it loaded, so the notes on the highway (when the song should have started) ended up being a few seconds behind. It's all synced perfectly in EOF, I'm using the latest version of EOF and the toolkit. Why is this happening?
