maybe you're right, I did not had time enough to play them all completely, only checked all songs every path for their quality and ballpark estimate for difficulties. What do you think about the difficulties of beginner and intermediate? I think the Rocky is a 4, and the JP a 3. I have the JP at a 3 only because the rhythms are a bit hard, if you've never heard the song before (ahem), and there are a couple of chords thrown in there (okay, easy ones). Otherwise I'd probably rate it lower. The Rocky has a lot of shifting, and although the rhythm is easy to pick up if you've never heard the song before (ahem) some of the patterns are a little, shall we say, expansive? As you may gather, I've never heard either song before. :) I'd agree with this. Even with not knowing the rhythm of the JP track first go, it's still possible to hit the majority of the notes. My first SA attempt on the Rocky track got me two red Xs! :blink: I didn't even get an X when I tried Rush or Ten-D on SA, so yes, "expansive shifting" is a way of putting it! :lol:

I get the brain farts too! :lol: Just curious, do you play with colour blind mode on? I do, because I usually find it impossible to id orange notes unless there's a yellow close by for comparison and even then... :wacko: It does seem to make it harder for me to deal with greens + blues on the same fret though. Until the day I'm good enough to play by not relying on what I see, my conclusion is contrast matters, the more the better. I might have to try switching cb mode on/off depending on the song. If only there were a way to completely personalise your colour set! ^_^

A guitar attempt?! :o http://i.imgur.com/eNEGX34.jpg?1 I played this many, many times before I got a bass ( <3 Kasabian!) - there's absolutely ZERO correlation between the difference in this and my previous high score (100% in MM *cough*) and my obsession with bass now. ZERO I say! :D (Ok, maybe there's some) :P It was interesting to see the rhythm path has been completely reworked from when I last played it. It was more of a lead path before. I struck out on it this time! :D

Since I can't play Uprising over and over again I've made Love Shack my project this week. As @@2groggy said, Uprising on bass is definitely more an endurance test than a test of skill.
